Still driving my TT (8J) with 320.000 km. And it still feels like im driving it on the first day. Audi made a really good job on the longgevity of this vehicle.
This is gonna be one of those cars that lasts through the decades without need for a complete body change. It's a damn good car. Why change what's already perfect for what it is?
you all prolly dont care but does someone know a way to get back into an instagram account? I somehow lost the account password. I would love any assistance you can offer me.
@Bowie Francisco I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff atm. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
I test drove a 2010 with Quattro all wheel drive on a rainy day and totally fell in love with it, it handles like a charm. It's my daily driver now and reliability has been great and I got it for around 10k.
Why are you criticizing the key? I don't think I heard you criticizing the blatant copy Kia is putting in their new cars, which incidentally is made of cheaper plastic and a cheaper key cutting method. Again...seriously... And btw, that same key was used in everything from a TT to a Gallardo to a Cayenne to a Phaeton to Continental GT. Your criticism is quite bizarre, especially when, as the other person noted, VW/Audi were years ahead of the industry in rolling out switchblade keys. Honda/Acura still uses side cut keys, Hyundai standard cut keys (in a switchblade, cheap cheap cheap).
The TT is one of the Audi models people don't talk about enough. I think it looks really good, love the styling that looks like a miniature R8, and if you get the TT S or the TT RS, those are some good cars from Audi.
I took my time and bought a tt .had it 3 years now can't fault it . Reasonably priced. Sporty. Economical .and reliable .robust . What more do you want ?
the only thing i think is cheap about the key is the fact that after a few years of use, the buttons become dented/cracked. ive seen a handful of old porsche, VW, and audi keys that look worn down, even after its 4-5 years old. it doesn't happen on toyota or lexus keys(since they use a solid button).
MilesAhead Nope, it cost more than a few bucks to get a key like that made. I paid $120 to copy a BMW key, and that was invoice price not retail. So I assume an Audi one will run about the same. You could probably just buy a new uncut one from ebay and swap the plastic, but only if Audi keys can be taken apart like Lexus/Toyota keys.
Audi dropped the manual transmission on the TT?? I no longer want this car. Speaking of which, what was the last car with a manual transmission that you all reviewed? 2theRedline
I'm honestly surprised they dropped the manual option on this car. It's a shame that even the new a3/s3(especially) doesn't have a manual as an option.
not a really big fan of these small roadster/sports cars. IMO, they aren't the best value. a well optioned TTS or Z4 sDrive is well in the $60k-70k range. for the same money, you can get a slightly used RS5/S5 or 6-series for the same if not less. maybe even get into a 911 or SL-Class. i personally think this segment of cars is becoming unpopular.
Seriously sofyan...first the key is a different shape than the VW ones. And that same key basic design is used on Lamborghini, Porsche, Bentley, even Bugatti. The last two are admittedly made of metal, but they keys are anything but cheap. Why aren't you criicizing the horrible NON LASER CUT NOM SWITCHBLADE keys found from the asian manufactures...VW introduced these keys to the mass market in the early 00s, and still everyone hast followed...shame
I am looking for a fun lil fast convertible for work. I have a New jeep Gladiator that I use everyday for work , so I need something fun when I am not using the Mojave. Which model would be faster the 2.0 or the 3.2, i know the 3.2 is faster but its heavier. TIA
Not really. Im 5'5 and have one and hit my head all the time. My bf is 5'11 and he does fit but always needs the seat down and back and feels like its too tiny
That's because you drive mostly freeway miles with very little stop n go traffic. Tell me how your clutch foot feels after a few hours in a LA traffic jam
Does the car really not have a aux port? I've seen some reviews that it did next to the phone charger near the arm rest? Can someone clear this up for me?
A FANCY VW BEETLE CAR??? lol, haven't heard such nonsense for a long time. I bet only those say this who never tried owning nd driving one. You're in for a surprise!
I don't really see the point in the TT. I guess it's a car for people who only want a "pretty" car. It doesn't live up to its sporty looks, and for the same price you can get a much nicer car from many other German competitors. The fact that Audis are essentially rebadged VWs just makes them kind of pointless.
I think it looks like a small R8, which i really like.

Did you get any issues or times where you spent a lot of money to repair

@Bowie Francisco it did the trick and I actually got access to my account again. I'm so happy:D
Thanks so much you saved my ass :D
@Nasir Emmanuel you are welcome :D
I JUST bought this car and MY GOD I'm so in love ❤️😍😍😍😍 definitely going to grow old with it
Video should be titled why this dude thinks the tt is a golf

do you still have it? I'm interested in getting one for 10K

Got sick of hearing him going on about that it isn't a new model.
he's just trying to compare the vehicles and tell you whats new
I drive still the TT and i love it , its much better in 6 speed manual

I owned a 2000 TT. Then after a few VW's and a BMW 330i sport I purchased this exact car. Wished it was a manual. It was a joy to own and drive.

I've never hated a reviewer more than this guy
This man vs Eminem . who faster in talking
why do you say the key looks cheap and old? have you seen american made keys for american cars? the worst keys EVER!
RYAN JARED #Facts
it looks like a mini r8
I will buy such a model 😊 it will be my first car🔥💪🏼
Congrats man! Looking into it as well.
@@Nemanjap995 same paint it in black and some mods here and there and add an push start system in it
I'm trying aswell lol hope it's not sold by the weekend before I can get my grubby hands on it
Well if he had any of his facts straight, this might actually be worth watching.
really the key? I dont give a F next video.
The way the RPM's drop when revving looks cartoonishly fast. lol
Everyone in the usa with a german car : preatty little cup holders XD
yeah true, its perfect for our german cups lmao
i dont like the position of the cupholder tho, makes shifting kinda awkward
In America, need cup holders for the 40 oz malt liquor

bmwmsport11 Pardon. I ment the uncut fake of course .Fake = copy. But for shure, the Audi shop will rip you off as usual.
Ahha, but there is a Aux jack, to the back of the center console
Is there really?
I've got a blue one I always keep the spoiler up

Good review, Alot of wind noise but overall good. Can u plz review a 04-08 Toyota Matrix xr or xrs?

Nice choice for a review.
What's spewing from the exhaust when you rev it?

an amazing one!
I myself own an Audi TT 2.0 TFSI 2006 and it is very awesome! fast 200 HP is more than enough for an car as light as this!
thinking of getting a 2008 one it is used it has 65000 and costs 15000€ is it a good deal?
Kostas Papadopoulos try find one a bit cheaper for that year model but good km
๖The Notorious wouldn't the insurance be insanely high , and how old are you ?
Elyad G. Are the repairments for the car expensive
I'm honestly surprised they dropped the manual option on this car. It's a shame that even the new a3/s3(especially) doesn't have a manual as an option.
Nice Review Of 2008 Audi TT. 😁
Good review Sofyan but why were you spitting the information out so quickly? Had to rewind a couple times.
Firewing I'm surprised you already managed to watch the whole 10 minute review when it only been out for 3 minutes

What porsches do you know with that key!? They have the car shaped keys
metamuse42 they may be car-shaped but they are switch-blades. even GM uses that design in their newer cars.
Really want this car
Everyone thinks that the Audi TT is an aggressive looking VW Beetle when it’s actually on a VW Golf platform .
wow you really never reviewed another TT after this.
Test the 2014 Honda Odyssey Touring Elite. It is the model with the HondaVAC
Im waiting for the mk7 gti or the new mustang which ever comes out first. Nice review
So is that why they gave the Mk II TT a timing chain?
Review a Pontiac solstice/Saturn sky if u get a chance!!!!
