I think everyone is ok with the Halo after the impact of Grosjean
I really hope so
I was against it and wasn’t convinced even by leclerc’s case two years ago, but now I’m all for it. I needed to be shocked maybe
Why would people be against it?
@@gerollopy because they think it looks bad
No
Just witnessed a miracle. Now people understand it’s importance?
There should be no question following the full report of the incident back in Spa 2018.
Thanks for sharing this feeling
Well, some people wouldn't understand until they experience/see the truth by themselve. That's basically it
Some dutchie 80s nostalgiatard hates the halo.
It really just saved Zhou’s life, this is the best thing ever introduced to F1.
That makes it three saved lives, at least. Grosjean, Hamilton, Zhou. I think its existence is well justified at this point.
Also saved Nissany’s life this weekend in F2. I think it is the best technical improvement one seaters ever received.
i came here just after seeing that crash
@@suomihauva there’s several more. Alonso’s front right tyre would’ve hit Charles when he flew over in Spa 2018, Ericsson’s barrel roll in Monza 2018 fp3, hulkenberg’s flip in Abu Dhabi 2018, maybe Bottas imola 2021, tyre came off and hit the halo and bounced off, same with max in Silverstone 2021
@@suomihauva And Perez too, because front wing piece of Leclerc go to Perez, and his life is saved

Darth Rian I actually love this comment
Holy cow! Looooool!
Who is here after Grosjean accident?
Me
that was unexpected! considering they were in the straights😟! glad he came out of it without any severe injures
yep!
Halo saved his life
Me, definitely saved his life
I wasn’t a fan of the halo at first. But I have always said ; “if it saves 1 life, it was all worth it”
Marvik Blok it’s saved two
Am Nah Three

elinfernus the Formula 2 driver whom I do not remember the name Charles and Who was there one I missed
Tadasuke Makino was the F2 driver :)
The Halo has saved -
2018 Spa - Charles Leclerc
2020 Sakhir - Romain Grosjean
2021 Imola - Valtteri Bottas and George Russell
2021 Monza - Lewis Hamilton
2022 Silverstone - Zhou Guanyu
You can see a debris flying into George's car and it hit the halo
Also a couple of drivers in F2
To be fair though. 2021 Imola was thanks to the raised sidepods introduced as a result of Ayrton Senna’s Accident (ironically at the same place as the crash in 2021)
charles - probably , but debatably
grosjean - ye 100% agree with you
imola - no, the piece of debris was just one of the marker boards
@@poopa2319 bottas's tire did push against Russel's halo so there's that. Crashalong made an excellent recreation of the crash so you can see more details there
And 2018 Hartley
No explanation needed. Just need to know that it saved my beautiful baby Leclerc
If you watch the crash in slo mo you see Fernando’s wheel warp into the halo, and if it had not been there his tyre probably would have skimmed Leclercs head
Can we at least get Mercedes to paint theirs so it doesn’t stand out as much?😂
Actually i‘m still not convinced that the tyre would have hit Leclerc... the First point from the impact is already slightly ahead of leclercs helmet and from there on the tyre was flying away from him anyway... but no hate towards the halo, it has made the crash a whole lot saver
It's not true.
oh lord
Jules Bianchi was holding a protective hand over his best friend Charles
Nikias Johannes Thomsen 😭♥️
Try not to cry... cry... cry a lot...
OK, who turned on the water works?
Okei why is Someone cutting onions over Here ://

First Grosjean, now Lewis. Two lives definitely saved by the halo.
Charles
And grosjean

Who else just came to see the amount of Halo hate in the comment section, and then was thoroughly surprised to see barely any?
Check the dislikes and comments in the previous halo videos from start of the season and last season. Oh boy how wrong people were. ''Tires can't come off'', ''Cars won't ever get airborne'', ''halo is useless''. If people would put any effort into not hating and trying to understand something, what happened in this comment section, would have happened at the start as well.
JAJAJAJAJAJAJA That's what you say after all these incidents, yet you still can't prove that HALO did not save Leclerc this time cause the same thing won't happen again as if everything was scripted like what you write here. SHIT HAPPENS.
Tyler Yan I’m starting to think your just a dumbass lmao. Driving an f1 car is obviously very dangerous just think about it why would you not have it? It’s extra protection for the driver and their safety. So you would rather have the risk of a driver getting seriously hurt or killed than just having the halo there to protect the driver? I mean people design the halo for a reason. Just stop being such a hater for a safety device
Nobody can hate the halo after today at Bahrain
@@tyleryan5451 it happen again. What do you say now ?
I actually always thought the halo makes the car's look better... Pre 2017 cars just seem to miss something
Yeah! I've always think that the halo is beautyñiful
Well the first few test with the halo in 2016 looked horrible. Halo has proven its importance, even though the Pre-Halo era looks better imo, but idc if it saves lifes
agree 100%. it gives a cool aerodinamic smooth modern look. f1 2017 cars without the halo look like a century ago
I actually think that the halo looks cool but i also felt normal with the 2017 cars
Yes
Lewis getting saved in Monza 2021 is making me appreciate the halo even more
This is how F1 says "Told ya so"
and told ya so they did
Alright F1, you've won. Never thought I'd like this thing honestly
Same, honestly
I honestly wish you weren’t a fake
@@amnaah653 Same ,honestly😂😂
Everyone hated on halo and nobody had one valid reason to do so. I was always pro halo, absolutely love it
I still hate it aesthetically but it obviously works in certain situations, it won't stop smaller debris like springs though.
Turns out the halo is stronger than the UK’s economy
No, the UK economy might even be able to have 2 whole buses!!!
then again, you could make a Halo from wet paper and it would still be stronger than UKs economy lol
more like greeces economy
Still
you mean greece's economy.
what a brilliant addition to safety this was. there would've been such a tragedy today if we lost zhou in his rookie season. instead, he made it out okay and we got a phenomenal race. thank you for the halo, F1.
In my opinion the halo makes the cars look cooler and more modern.
I agree 100%
Same
Ditto
They should mixed it with an aeroscreen
I agree. It also makes the cars look faster and more aerodynamic
All hail to the great halo, Marshalls and everyone involved saving Romain’s life. My heart literally dropped when that incident happened.. glad he is okay and still alive.
First Charles, then Romain, then Lewis, then Zhou, and so many more.
Its safe to say that this was one of the best desicisons that F1 has ever made.
Now the Halo just saved Zhou's life!!! best thing ever introduced in the World of F1!!
BREAKING NEWS:
Halo saved Hamilton's life from a falling bus

Rumor has it he wished to expirience Fortnite but Hulkenberg crashed into the bus.

And F1 is like: let's rub it in just for the HALO-haters :^)

Here after the Grosjean crash..The Halo is a life saver
Anyone here after Grosjeans unfortunate accident? So glad he is saved by this "Halo" 😇 😊
You know, it's quite ironic to know that Jules' crash and following death pushed the Halo to be implemented this year ultimately saving Charles' life, his best freaking friend! Whoever is still against the Halo device or any safety measure for open cockpits can leave right now.
This thing is ugly as sin, F1 will find a way to re-design the cars without it in a few years, and it will be forever known as this awkward period of F1 history where the sanctioning body shamed people into liking the most aesthetically confusing part of the car because YOU DONT WANT DRIVERS DEAD DO YOU??
@@AustinOgonoski since when was F1 about aesthetics? Are watching a racing series of a Supermodel Contest?!
That was their reasoning for the 2017 rule changes.
www.motor1.com/news/135532/f1-cars-ditch-ugly-noses/
@@AustinOgonoski Of course people don't want their favorite drivers dead. I know the halo isn't the most pleasing to look at but I care more about drivers' saftey than the appearance of a car
@@AustinOgonoski Unlike the noses, the Halo is implemented for Driver safety reasons
Saved Zhou today
37 seconds?
Bwoah that was short
Edit: thanks for 500 likes guys never had so many!!!
"kimi what are your thoughts on the halo?"
"bwoah they is nice"
thats what she said..
Maker Of lollll
That was shorter than Marco Apicella's career
One short of 600....let's goooo
As someone who started watching F1 in 2021, I find the halo beautiful. It adds a certain futuristic elegance to the cars that I just really enjoy
I also started watching this year. But when i watched replay of past races, i found 2016 cars look more badass
RUclips suggesting this today, and yesterday the halo saved Lewis's life in Italian GP 2021
It saved the life of Grosjean, Leclerc, and Hamilton.
And now Nissany, also.
@@joelbrandon4617 and Zhou now
Am i the only one who thinks the car looks better with the halo?
I know right? At most it's indifferent, but it has some elegance to it.

Anyone here after the Guanyu crash?
This is so nice👏👏

Gotcha, playing "That's Raidillon Actually" by WTF1!
I love how it comes up on everyone's recommendation after the verstappen v lewis crash
Who is watching this after Romain Grosjean massive crash?
Any controversy about the halo ends today...
Another life saved in _Bahrain GP 2020_
How Unbelievable it was!!
Another life saved by the halo today in silverstone 2021. It is fully necessary
First we come back for Grosjean, now again because of Hamilton. Thank you Halo!
and now zhou
Halo saved Zhou's life today!
Anyone come back every time the halo saves a life. Here from silverstone 2022
Wow 36 seconds of in depth explanation and analysis. After watching this I feel like I can build one of these myself. Great job at explaining the details of this safety tool!
Thank you, Mr.Halo
Who watched this video after Grosjean's crash? This technology advancement really has to be appreciated.
Not only does the halo a life saver, but it’s also a neat design to a race car
a priceless reward for those who stand behind mandating the halo to improve driver head protection- takes a lot of courage and set a good example for similar initiatives as a passive barrier
Here after Zhou's crash. Whoever came up with the halo idea deserves a bonus in million dollars.
It’s insane how strong that thing is.
this is probably the 3rd time i've heard that the HALO has saved someone, and I just needed to come and see how exactly it works. this short video was enough to amaze me!!
Zhou Guanyu
this gets recommended right after Romain's massive crash
After monza 2021 incident between verstapen and lewis
Again saved maybe 2 lives today (Great Britain F1/F2 2022)
it works, proven, it actually has made the chassis look better too.
I'm a halo fan , now bring on the bigger rims, brakes and lower tire profile.
HALO SAVED HAMILTON'S LIFE TODAY!
No one going to argue with the existence of halo after Grosjean’s incident today.
What a great moment to post this
Amazing addition which has come to its best effect yet today with Romain. Get well soon💪🏼
Wow this video appeared on my homepage after zhou guanyu accident
Anyone just get this in their recommended after monza?
Idk why ppl are hating on Halo. Its a great game honestly. Master Chief is a great character
This saves a lot of drivers, thank you!
I like it for its functionality, and I'm super happy it saved the life of one of my favourite drivers, but that doesn't mean I can't dislike how it looks. I just hope they find a more aesthetically pleasing way to integrate it into the body of the car.
zhou would definitely not be alive after that crash at silverstone if not for this...bravo!
Watching this is crazy after today’s crash to think he would of died without this!! Mad! Glad he’s ok!
Sure it has its limitations like might let small debris through, but it's the best solution we have right now before aeroscreen can be strong enough. It's the second time Halo has proven to make a accident safer and possibly saving lives, those who developed it has done a great job
Guys delete this and put a maldonado clip ffs
You have to be grateful towards the halo or else everyone would be hating you for being responsible of a possible Leclerc injury
Thanks Nico you crashed Charles out and i was able to beat him
:(
yes
I swear these fake accounts are so annoying as shit…
The Halo makes the cars look a bit futuristic and I love it, though I wonder what it's like with that pole in the middle of your vision?
The eyes focus it out of vision, It's like putting your finger between your eyes
Who ever invented this is not only a genius a hero life saver thank you!
What a time for this to be on recommendation
Zhou Guanyu is thankful for this 😱
Wish it was introduced during Senna's time😔
Same😔
Only 37 seconds, and it gave us so much information
10/10 best video yet
This single piece saved Romain's life.
I know aesthetics are fine and all but safety comes first in this "debate"
Cool little video! Didn't know it was that strong
This was the best I told you saw form F1!!
Halo is very important ❗️
It's amazingly efficient and effective engineering, huge strength from only 7kg. This level of safety should be standard on road cars just for insurance against people who try to decapitate us with their cars.
this saved hamilton’s life in monza . will forever be grateful for this invention that saves drivers’ lives .
This pops up in my recommendation a day after the verstappen and hamilton crash. I just want to say, thank you
I am here to complain halo after bahrain GP.
We need double it.
Wow.. What a plot twist in your comment! Rollercoaster of emotions while I was reading!
yeah this saved zhou's life
I am still amazed at how the see the road through it!

It saved a life today.
Awesome vid!!!!
My appreciation for the halo is now absolute.
Who's here after the Monza?
I actually kinda like how it looks now
I think F1 should use the aero screen because one of Racing Point drivers got his with some gravel on his hand. If the aero screen is on F1 then that wouldn’t have hit him at Sakir FP1 2020
Actually it Pierre Gasly of AlphaTauri
But then it would look like indy cars and would ruin the outdoors effect even more
Here after bahrain 2020. A small question tho, if the halo is rly that strong as shown in the video, so what about the anchor point? U know, the 3 point where the halo are bolted into the chassis, are they equally strong to withstand an impact halo could? Rough example, a steel safe attached to wooden door frame, you can't force the door open but you surely can force the frame. Or maybe the frame also taken into consideration when the engineers inventing the halo? If an accident so dynamic and severe happened and crush the bolted point on the chassis, what would happen?
At first I was against it, but now I'm glad they have it especially after the Grosjean accident.
Ambuja Cement : Hmm , finally a worthy opponent
when the ad before the video is almost longer than the actual video
Finaly a good explanation
