You can tell around the 13:00 min mark he became bloodthirsty and started driving like a mad man to catch up.. dudes got what the call the “racers edge”🏎💨
i understand it isn’t real but i get similar in sim racing. It’s like you suddenly have the ability to be Ayrton Senna just because you want it so bad 😅
@@KlarStar that has also happened to me on sim racing, you just enter "the zone" and for me I just become faster than before with my mind completely empty just hearing the car. I get fastet than if I consciously try to go faster
I love how the key fob is just chillin there at the base of the shifter! Never thought I'd see a race spec car with remote start 😂 Great racing! Really cool to see the mx5 cup from this perspective. Thanks for uploading, congrats on the W!
These cars come as stock cars and are rebuilt here, the immobilizer is built into the instrument cluster. A way around it it too costly for a small spec series like this.
@@Pathfinder3877 that makes sense! Didn't think about the immobilizer, definitely a good idea to keep as much stock as you can for cost purposes. Thanks for the explanation!

That over-under overtake that you setup to take P1 again at the last lap I saw coming. Beautiful move to seal the win. Your defensive positioning after Eau rogue is great. The inside line gives you an advantage for 3 of the 4 corners. Also the way you make the car turn in during that fast 4th gear left hander is sublime (forgot the corner name). Good luck man. Keep at it, I will be following.

What a thrilling run, i watched the whole thing and all i gotta say is it takes incredible tenacity to watch that illusion of you catching the guy in first, become increasingly more evident, while still maintaining such consistency and agressivness.. Great drive
This guy has balls of steel. When he wave to the car behind him saying let’s catch the leader, his pace jumped breakneck speed. He was driving the limits of the car the whole race. Imagine racing for 30 minutes and having to correct the car the whole time, at speeds of 100+. Great driving!

Great race! Awesome job keeping calm the whole way through. I find it insane how close iRacing is to this feeling (apart from the rain) the engine sounds, the look, the FoV and details als spot on in the game.
When second place took the lead for part of the last lap, he got really defensive. Good job putting the pressure on them to force them wide while you take the cut back. Very good strategy.
At lap 4 first right corner, that overtake looked 4 me as (maybe) a cutoff (without mirror or side view camera), but the whole race you dominated them with better lines and you drove more precisely on the edge. The last "mind game" overtaking were epic
because there's an safety system where the car detects that you moved fast from acceleration pedal to the brake, and it's for advertising the guy behind to brake like when there's a problem on a highway :)
Awesome to watch! It almost seemed like your can had a bigger engine and stickier tires, but I guess that just what good driving at the absolute limit looks like
Draft is incredible with these cars. When you are closing down on someone, you gain a lot of speed because of that. Setup was close to perfection to my liking, which makes everything a bit easier. :)

If you could find a way to either relocate your mic or cover it in a way that we can we hear more of the engine and less of the wind, along with some commentating or even perhaps a rear view camera so we could see what is happening behind you that would be awesome (friendly advice)!!! Otherwise really nice job, and Congrats on the win!
