Ive been a teacher for 26 years, this is my first self contained class and I LOVE your videos! I feel your vibe, love your heart and just wanted you to know!
Hi, I appreciate your channel so much. I’m currently working as a Paraeducator in special education kindergarten class. I always wanted to go the teaching route and this channel makes it feel less scary and daunting. ❤️
sorry to be so offtopic but does any of you know a trick to get back into an Instagram account? I somehow lost the password. I would appreciate any help you can give me
@Alexander Brett Thanks so much for your reply. I found the site through google and Im in the hacking process atm. Takes a while so I will reply here later with my results.
Thank you so much for this video. I bought a few stuff from your bundles in TPT. I am grateful for your video clips. I am the first year teacher teaching K/1 and feel exactly the way you described your experience as the first year teacher. But this video is going to help me to do a better job going back next week. I am going to see if you have any video on Scopes and Sequence so I can learn from that too. Thank you a bunch. 🥰
I love watching your videos. I am studying to become a special education teacher and my dream job is to work for UNICEF 🇺🇳 and teach special Ed students all around the world. You are a amazing teacher 🍎
Thanks for sharing the information I have a great passion for special education and the resource room. I love my job as a special educator. Your talks are inspiring.
Do you have a copy of the form that you fill out? If so could you link it below? I love the IEP goals that you have on there. I try to teach my college students about standards and skill which is so hard to do, but maybe they would understand it better.
Are the activities for small group the same as they have in their individual folders? Or do you practice with them first with other activities and then they work on their folders?
Your admin don't ask for anything more? Mine want standards, language obj, content obj, connect to prior knowledge, assessment (with concrete data you can show), and a written reflection for each lesson.
No. They don’t even ask for lesson plans. The grade levels share and co-plan. They trust us a lot. It’s worked out for the whole school so far. My old job asked for our lesson plans but only the overarching themes. Never standards. Wow, that’s a lot of work to do all of that. Especially in special education where every kid is different!
Ok, I have watched your videos and I love them. So my question is. Do your kids rotate or do your para work with a certain group for that week For instance, they work with group 1, and you work with group 2? I know that you explain this already I am just trying to get clarity, My third question is, do you teach math and reading separately; you teach only reading for an hour and then the next block you teach math. Or if you do have centers do you have a math center and a reading center?
I swear this young lady is a blessing.
