I taught preschool in the past but now I am going to be a 5th grade self contained teacher! The kids are all on different levels so I am nervous about how I can reach all of them. This video was helpful :)

All the students at varying levels is challenging. I'm a resource special ed. Teacher and I work on goals individually with each student through out the day but it feels like there is gaps and alot falls on the paraprofessional for some of these kids who realistically cannot be in the regular ed. Setting. Still trying to figure that out. These videos are always so helpful!

This is very interesting and helpful. I was wondering about your whole group lessons. Do you have whole group for 1/2 and then one for 3/4? I’m just trying to understand how you put whole lesson and small group together. Also, what does your daily schedule look like? For example: 8:00 is morning meeting, 8:15 is whole group math…..
