Beau Enjoys A Perfect Late Summer Day - Washington, DC, USA

After a very busy day at the obedience run-through, Beau and I took it easy today. The weather was clear, the humidity low, and the pace slow. This video is nothing special - just a few moments of peace and beauty during our long walk - but a profound one for me. After my mother passed, the first bird I saw was a goldfinch, intent on getting my attention and the way this one just watched us, swaying on the echinacea, for several moments made me feel like she was close by and it gave me a very full heart.

It is a special video ! It is what life should be more like , to enjoy the moment , the company who is with you ( Beau ) , like they say , to just sit back and smell the roses , you know ? And the visit by the Finch --- topped off the day . Glad you 2 had such a great time together .
