Beau and I had our first Open A trials this weekend. Saturday and Sunday, we competed in a class of 14 teams, vying for a qualifying score each day. Things didn’t go as hoped. We NQd both days. To celebrate Beau’s 4th birthday, there are two videos this week!! Every year, I do a photoshoot to commemorate his birthday but this year - I did two! For the first, we went down to the National Mall for a sunrise shoot and got some spectacular skies. The second shoot was a studio set-up complete with a crown and cake! Last Monday, Beau got his 6-month follow-up echocardiogram and the results were super! You can watch the whole video to hear the veterinary cardiologist explain it all. Annual testing (Holter and echo) can catch DCM at a treatable (not curable) stage and I was so excited that he got cleared to go another 9-12 months before a recheck!!
