Soul Essence Actually, if the player is Yoshi, Luigi, or Wario, he doesn't even let you fight him. You're just stuck on the Endless Stairs, even if you have enough stars. If you hack the game to make you fast enough to get by the Endless Stairs without it looping, you can play the level with Yoshi, Luigi, or Wario, but the game crashes when you go to fight Bowser.
