In life there are few moments that you see a genuine, innocent artist who's Yes means Yes and No means No. To have such person be gifted with such musical talent at such a young age and an angelic voice no less. Then, when she performs, you can't help but just listen and watch her as you slowly but certainly are drawn into her songs. She's unique but an acquired taste because she was the first of her kind in those days, later on we had her "off spring" in artists like Tori Amos and Bjork.
i'll never get tired of her answering the same thing on different interviews about what the source of wuthering heights is and she would passionately speak in detail the time she caught little dregs of it as a motion picture and when she emphasises that People are poetry. i love her with all my heart she is so wonderful and ive never seen a being so gentle and honest and down to earth

Kate Bush's personal fashion sense may even have Gothic leanings, but that is not really a token of membership to the "completely bonkers" brigade.
She is indeed sincere, though. It's good that she prefers her production to interact directly with her retailers and customers more than the parasitic "journo'" hoards, I reckon.

She wasn't given enough time for her second album - it was rushed and she was disappointed with it, as were many fans. But from her third one on she was very much back on track and getting better and better ☺️
Still, her second album has some real gems on it.
I want to be Kate Bush, everyone secretly does, some are just too ashamed to admit it. Music is ranked as follows: Good, Very Good, Excellent, Perfection, and then Kate Bush standard. Period.

"People are full of poetry". Wonderful. Such a 70's interview; Gay's talking to her like her as if he were a headmaster about to give the top award to a star pupil at the end of term, on prize giving day.
In the end of course, she on an altogether different level than he is, but she's just too polite to let on.
Many others , already like her . But , she sure is different.
I disagree, the interviewer IS Irish, Irish program, so perhaps they want to claim Kate as their own. All in the perception, I'd say.
