I'm turning 23 this year, been listening to her for around 15 years now. When I was a kid I enjoyed listening to the likes of Kate, Seal, Sting, MJ, and all these different cool artists. The feeling of "power" coming from their songs gave me thrills. It was still the 2000's, and I don't think their music was even considered outdated yet. But this very song was already 20 years old at that time! and now teens are discovering that generation of artists through series, four decades later lol. Since 2010, things have been evolving so much faster. Now I mainly listen to the most recent artists, but nowadays' music does have a different feeling to it, like the "lifespan" of the excitement that a song gives you has become very short.... and I can't really feel the same "power" sensation in recent songs anymore, it feels like recent songs have much less character to them.

As a very, very longtime fan of the sublime Kate Bush, this song and really the entire album of the same name stand tall in her artistic pantheon. Brilliance!
This song is just stunning. The line "I found a fox caught by dogs..." that entire part is just so poetically brilliant. I love this video, her visuals are always so beautiful.
1:56 when all those Cellos kick in... bloody fantastic. Damn.... love this song so much.... it's really hard to decide on a favourite Kate Bush track... almost impossible. Such an emotive song, that fear of handing over your heart...

What an amazing song.
Her music is so timeless it could be released today and would be in the top 10
Actually Running Up That Hill IS in the top ten
So you’re kinda right
And top 20!
Actually Running up that Hill is now No. 1 here in NZ
Top 1, not Top 10.
She is a beautiful free spirit when it comes to her music and performance. She dances to the beat of her own drum, and in years to come future generations will discover her and fall in love with her again and again. I find her music so personal and even tho she has had success...feels like shes my little secret.
Always and will always be my no 1 female artist as she has been for over 30 yrs still gives me goose bumps every time I hear her sing
Wow! I didnt expect to love this...but I do. Kate Bush can really do that. She can express things so fabulously well. ❤
What does it mean?
1:56 when all those Cellos kick in... bloody fantastic. Damn.... love this song so much.... it's really hard to decide on a favourite Kate Bush track... almost impossible. Such an emotive song, that fear of handing over your heart...
Kate has always been my number 1 female artist. and this song MY number 1 of hers
She must have made her songs with a spell because no matter how many times I've listened to them they never lose their magic
I come back every six months or so. This song is so embedded in my brain.
i've listened to this song for a couple years here and there but for some reason it's really hitting me now and i get near tears every time i listen. it really strikes my soul. i love how it never lets up and keeps the same momentum it just grabs you and throws you into another world. i feel like i could write an entire novel based off of that world this song creates.
Greatest Female artist of all time
Well... I could argue that the title belongs to Aretha Franklin, but I won't.
It would be like arguing about whether Mozart or Beethoven is best..
@@hansemannluchter643very true!
I can listen, watch, and stare at Katie Bush 24/7. What would music have been without her immersurable contribution. 🎼. Arise Dame Kate Bush. (At last)). ❤️❤️❤️.
I discovered Kate Bush while living in London during the mid 80's. Captivating with a beautiful voice. Her music still moves me.
Amazing kate bush!!! Forever!! Petros from Greece 🇬🇷
Loved Kate Bush since I was a teenager in the 80s she really is one of the best female artists ever her voice is amazing ❤️
People dropping in on Kate on the back of Running Up That Hill are going to get such a thrill!...
The composition and production of Kate bushes songs are just amazing, a true legend.
Absolutely incredible song, still holds up so well almost four decades later!
CAN'T MAKE IT THROUGH THAT ONE ONE WITHOUT TEARS OF SORROW AND SOLACE. THE MOST BEAUTIFUL SONG
Kate you still got it!
i love how she sings "do you know what i really need?" 💝
kate will probably never read this, but oh dear lord, hounds of love is probably one of the best albums and song in the whole world , thank you for making this masterpiece
Listening to Kate Bush brings tears to my eyes. An amazing singer, songwriter and performer.
those pounding drums throughout the song just...ughhh...brings so much energy to the track.
Kate Bush did an amazing job as producer of this album.
I love death metal mostly, but loved Kate Bush since I was young (29 now) thanks Mum n Dad
This one of those songs that I can't ever play loud enough or often enough.
The line "I found a fox caught by dogs, he let me hold him in my hands" is better than an entire album by most artists. She wasn't just ahead of her time, she was for all time.
Kate Bush Hounds Of Love is one of my favorite song
Fuckin ell man! The greatest female artist the UK has ever had. LEGEND.
