Muito obrigado pelas aulas de português europeu!
Thank you so much. Great content and so happy to find this list along with pronouncation.
This is such a great resource! I just wish that there were pauses after the Portuguese words, so I could repeat them, like in a language lab. Then I could listen to this while I do dishes or exercise. As it is, I have to hit pause after each word so I can repeat it. Still, it's great to have! Thank you!
Obrigada for this amazing video!! simply loved it!! :)

thank you very much. this is very helpful. could you please explain the history of pronouncing s like sh in Portuguese?
Muito bacana saber que existem pessoas interessada na língua portuguesa. Quem desejar praticar a oralidade pode me chamar, eu me disponho também a ajudá-los. Embora eu more no Brasil, as diferenças são muito poucas. Bela iniciativa professora.
It's very cool to know that there are people interested in the Portuguese language. Who wish to practice, just call my name. I 'm available to help. I am Brazilian, but there are not too many differences in the language. It's always possible to understand.
Obrigado
Obrigado 👏👍😍

O nosso sotaque é muito sério. O sotaque brasileiro é fixe. Chamo-me José, ok tá bem se quiseres podes-me chamar Zé.

I like this it's helpful
I’ve been studying Portuguese for over 5.75 years now and I’ve visited Brasil 17 times but I’ve only used a few of these verbs in only the present tense because I don’t understand how they work. It keeps me from reading and conversing along with my inability to understand what people are saying and because I need to translate everything into English to understand. I study and practice every day with my girlfriend who only speaks Portuguese but after almost 3 years of practicing with her I still can’t understand what she is saying. Thanks
Maybe the speed of people talk is the problem try to speed up when you listen videos.
@@jordanversol2689 I can’t read either, I have to translate everything into English to understand. So when I hear it most of it sounds like gibberish and then I have to translate everything into English. I haven’t had a conversation yet after studying for over 8.5 years and visiting Brazil 18 times. It’s frustrating
@@patfromamboy I dont known .have you try with a teacher to learn ?
@@jordanversol2689 I’ve had over 100 teachers. I’ve tried quite a few different things because I don’t want to keep doing things that haven’t worked. Thanks for the help! I’m going to keep trying.
@@patfromamboy maybe stay in the basic learn of portugese with basic world for being confortable first trying to had conversation with people who learn portugese try to handerstand and after brasilians .dont give up

First I mistook your answer for an insult, but then I understood that instead you have made me a big compliment. So I thank you very much for your kind words.
But please let me clarify that:
1) I studied Portugese very intensively in the 2 months before my comment, which means that I spent at least 1 hour PER DAY listening to Susana's podcasts and reading the transcripts.
2) It took me quite a long time to write my comment above. And with all those resources available in the Internet it is not too difficult to write on a relatively good level in a foreign language if you have enough time and a basic command of this language.
3) I am fluent in French and speak Italian quite well, so the majority of Portugues words and structure are familiar to me.
4) I did not try to show off but I rather wanted to thank Susana for all the efforts she's undertaken when making these videos by showing her that her videos are that good that it's possible to learn Portuguese quite well in a short time with nothing but her videos and transcripts.
I think I've said enough. Thank you.
Nice voice
This video it very nice for me
Your teaching is mind blowing . Do you have video for basic 100 verbs você ele and ela
Olá :) You can find it in this playlist: ruclips.net/p/PL_0UGouJ5VPmJhIGWYGSoAzlbrDxI4XNE
I love this lesson ! Eu amo este lição! I am just thinking if necessitar should not be just translated as: need because necessitate sounds a bit strange to me but I am not native English speaker;)
Damian Anonim yeah necessitar or precisar means to need.
Eu amo estA lição (instead of "lição" just say "aula" because it's more common). Yeah, we don't use the verb "necessitar" too much. Instead, say "precisar".
Ok add you
Thx yu
Mam so gud..will make the videos on same verb with simple past and simple future
brincar also means to joke besides not only to jump greetings from mexico really what a very good portuguese teacher
Most verbs have more than one meaning but it would take up too much space. :) Do you mean "brincar" also means "to joke" not only "to play" (instead of "to jump")?
@@Portugueselab yeah that is right mihna amiga portuguesa A Proposito Quantos idiomas Voce sabes falar que dominas realmente muito bem I,ve Already known to speak enough so good fluently All these Languages english german french and more my native language that is spanish and I know so so the italian and a little of portuguese I am improving those 2 languages

I wrote all the words tp 9:34 down in a notebook!
awesome
Hola, do you have those verbs in the future and in the past?
Thsnk you.
Hi!! Thank you for making these! If you dont have one already, can you please make a video about common sounds? For example, I've noticed that two R's often make the J sound in Spanish, or the heavy H sound in English. I've also noticed that n with an h following it often makes an I sound. A video with these type of rules would be really helpful to me!
Olá Brenda! You can check my older videos about pronunciation: ruclips.net/video/dqSc_HxG2Mc/видео.html&t and ruclips.net/video/Yr3MFN51D_E/видео.html&t I hope they help! :)

02:27 What's that wacky "c" in "almocar"? Is it pronounced differently than the regular "c"?
Bon Bon it's a "c" with a "cedilha". What it does is change the sound "car" (without ç) to "soap" (with ç). You don't need "ç" before "e" or "i" as they already have the "soap" sound after "c". :)

i have an impolite question about portuguese language, i found some words that are similar to spanish language, are there any orientations?
90 % of Spanish and Portuguese words are the same. Pronounciations can differ.
It’s not impolite. They both come from Vulgar Latin, and Portugal and Spain are next to each other geographically. They influenced each other quite a bit
Please change the same verbs in past and future tense
drop a note 2:56
"Esperar" também pode significar "to hope"?
Yup! "Espero que o meu pai chegue amanhã" I hope my father arrives tomorrow
I think it's amazing what you are doing but somehow the explanation was a little confusing. Maybe it was just me. But again excellent job
You can let me know what isn't clear, and I'll explain. :)
Are any of these verbs different (other than pronunciation) in Brazilian Portuguese?
Yes, different meanings in a couple of them.
@@Portugueselab All these ones are the same.
Is it alright if we left out the personal pronouns just like in Spanish?
Example: Falo Portugues? instead of Eu falo Portugues?
jailbirdx0x sure! It's preferable everytime it's clear who you are talking about (the verb conjugation is enough).
Cos sometimes I mistaken it with Spanish now that I'm learning Portuguese. Thanks for the info.
Hello
Can I still Watch this if I'm learning Brazilian Portuguese? Like is the difference only the accent or other things as well? And can't I pick up videos from Portuguese and Brazilian or is that just wrong?
I recommend you choose Brazilian Portuguese resources. There are enough differences for it to make sense. I recommend the "Fun with Brazilian Portuguese" channel.
I could recommend some to... haha. Brazilian portuguese with karaoke.
