Love your reactions. Ren's latest drop Back on 74 /Message in a Bottle Retake is again very different but such a vibe and a vocal journey I would say. The one right before that a beautiful more emotional song an acoustic mashup from an artist called Fred Again who is an EDM Producer /DJ. It's Ren's take on 5 of his songs. It would be great to see you react to one or both of them. Ren is in his singing bag now as his next album will be mostly song. .
@@OscarIna0fTimeVODs if i had to guess i would say that it was a comment on how Ren very accurately explains how the system of financial progression works thus making his song a useful tool for education. i also agree with their last sentence! much love to you and yours.🙂🙂🙂
I think it all boils down to "those who seek power should be the last people to be given it" or in layman's terms, "greedy psycho's inevitably get power 'cos that's all they live for".
What this type of music does that's most important is that it always sparks conversations. Every person I've ever met has somewhat of a different take on their values of money are. I think most of people get that man's greed, not necessarily capitalism in it's intended form, is not the biggest problem. Its the greed and unbounded wealth leads to power that ends up controlling the masses leaving us feeling bitter and powerless. That's my take.
Nothing on nature is fixed, the whole universe is in flux (which we, even at cellular level are part of). Creating fixed systems such as capitalism or any other system will only become rotten, fluidity is the key, however, establishments don't really benefit from that, so we as the people governed by establishments have to pay the price for this. We are an immature species that still has to deal with our own insecurities before we can evolve, chaos is order of universe, but our aggressively polarised mindsets believe it's one or the other. Sorry for Rant. Peace and love, fellow being.
No, capitalism is the issue. As long as you have economic and social hierarchies you will never see true values and talent shine out. Because you’re in a very bad dictatorship currently. The dictatorship of capital.
Just so dam clever the way Ren makes people think more deeply than normal and starts off many conversations, so unique. Great reaction and look forward to the next one.
What I like about Ren is he points his finger at everyone... including himself. It's not a political party (it's all politics), it's not wealth, it's the accumulation for the sake of acquiring regardless of who gets hurt. It doesn't come across as preachy because he's not suggesting he's better or that anyone has the answer.. just that we can all do better.
ren says truth ( the turth is overrated) but the lyrics say/ spell turth, mistake or not..turth means a true and clear understanding of events...🤔 🎤⬇️✌️
Important bit of info to help interpreting this song: the Shell Oil company started from a shop selling sea shells.
The “She sells sea shells” line is also the line in Hi Ren, when “dark Ren” referred to it, mocking “light Ren”.

.
The ironic thing is this is probably being shown in business schools on how to grow your company, Rens music definitely encourages conversation
I don't understand why would they do that nor why do you think so like that. I totally agree with your last sentence tho

This is exactly what I mean. We all have different takes and feel strongly about them. So who's right and who's wrong? No one.

I know Ren is classy af, but you've got me feeling underdressed over here.
Well that was certainly one of the most "vague" reactions I have heard in a while.
