These are around the scores kyla ross would get in the national championship (I think she scored higher before) and she had one of the lowest AA scores in the whole fierce five squad. It's just crazy how the scoring system changes throughout the years.
Funny thing is that the highest All around score of the games still came from Simone, followed by Viktoria Listunova, both of whom did not participate in the AA final.

Compare her to aly, gabby or jordyn, Komova or Mustafina. If suni was doing the AA final in 2012 or 2008, she def would not have won. Not trying to take away her win, just saying its crazy how the gymnastics level has changed.

Idk it's just so crazy to me how the gymnastics level has changed, because if suni was competing in the 2012 or 2008 olympics she never would have made AA finals, even with the code of points change. In my opinion the world had the best gymnasts from 2007/2008-2013/2014, thats when gymnastics clearly peaked scoring wise.

The reason she scores higher in execution has two reasons, she has less elements and handstands to get deductions in because everything is connected, and the second reason in Andrades pirouettes were likely .3 deductions because she pikes her hips extremely early, making her handstands big deductions. Also sunis bars look way better from the side.
