Hi Ellen, I greatly appreciate you and your willingness to share your receipt’s and your knowledge. You are awesome. I pray that God will continue to bless you and your business.😊
Hi Ellen! Loving your videos❤ When I don’t want to use SLSA, I substitute buttermilk powder to get the bubbly-ness plus skin-soothing benefits. I wasn’t sure if you had ever tried that. God Bless you & yours in 2024!
I made the soap with the calamine powder and the avobath scent. They are amazing. Thank you for sharing with everyone. I plan on making a spa set with bombs, face mask and the soap for Christmas
I also live in TN, near Knoxville..very humid always 80 to 100 percent humiditity! Cant make them without a humidifier or a bin full of rice to dry them in! cheap easy alternative! For those interested..buy a walmart bin and put rice in bottom or in bowls around the bombs and put lid on dry overnight no problems! Great video very informative for those starting out!
I just love my little bath bomb hand press! It was a gift from my daughter in law. I got really lucky because they were having a sale and I was able to also get three molds with it so I felt like it was Christmas! I just love it!
Because of this video, I switched to Grapeseed oil as my oil, and what a difference! I like using a liquid oil and I had plenty of grapeseed oil on hand, fearing that I wouldn't be able to use it all up. You solved that problem. I have 12 shades of pre-colored baking soda prepared for bath bombs. I'm sure that I'll need more Grapeseed oil now. Thank you and God bless you.
I've seen bath bomb videos before but wasn't very enthused about all the colors they put in. This video you did really makes me want to try it! They are so pretty too, I love the shape more than the huge balls!

Bath Bombs and Steamers can be tricky. Your climate can effect how well they mold, so I suggest increasing the liquid a bit until they mold really well.

Hi, Ellen Ruth! I made these bombs today and even though the mixture passed the squeeze test, still they were crumbly around the edges coming out of the mold. I tried spraying witch hazel, but it didn’t really help all that much. Even added some more oil, but still they were not as crisp and clean as yours are. Any advice or suggestions? Hmmm, bath bombs can be tricky, especially in a dry enviroment like CA... I would increase the witch hazel even more, or try adding a bit of isopropyl alcohol to make the mix more sticky..
