    I've done this a few times since the first video came out. My son loves it. We've caught a couple blues, a bunch of gar and big angry black fish. Also seem to have more success using cut bait. Thank you Mr Gene, God bless you sir.

    Instead of using reflecting tape at night try using glow sticks and I put half inch PVC in the center of my noodles to keep the line from cutting through if it's a big one on

    Most people try to cast a mile and a half going after catfish but truth be told you just gotta figure out where they are… Sometimes they are up close to the bank and sometimes they’re out deep. I’ve out fished people by fishing close to the bank numerous times. It’s better to stagger your baits. Have a couple rods up close and a couple out deep and if you don’t get a bite within 30 minutes you might as well move to a different spot. I went to a public lake once with my daughter and I wasn’t casting 15 feet off the bank and I swear I couldn’t get a rod baited up and back out there before I had another one on…😂 Everybody was asking me what I was using…😅 Just chicken liver and a hook is all you need in a lake with no current… Most people put big weights on to try to cast across the lake… But it’s just not necessary when there’s no current and if they feel the resistance from the weight they’re more likely to drop it.

    The shirts you guys were wearing suggest that Hank might have his own RUclips channel. I searched for "Hanging With Hank Outdoors" but didn't find it and it's not listed on your post. If he has one can you share it? Thanks for the video. It brought memories of my family "Running Bottles" where we did the same but used old Clorox bottles instead of pool noodles. We had lots of neighborhood fish fries.

    • @1boopig
      @1boopig Год назад

      It is an old pole that was used to clean swimming pools. It has has a hook attached to the end of it from a bungee cord. It works well and collapses to make it compact for storage.

I use #2 hook ,an Aberdeen hook, should I go to a bigger hook or what ? Larry Curtis from Murphy, NC

    This video proves catfish are a mere scavenger wrong. They are feasting like a predator in this video! I must save this video with a previous RG noodle video! Noodling is a type of jugging in my area. I must have an extra permit beyond a standard license.
