Is it actually a deal , or just the price normalising to be closer to what it should have been in the first place.? EVs are all too costly apart from miniscule range second car runabouts.

It’s the cheapest price this particular version of the car has ever been. That qualifies it as a deal.
Many EVs are now at cost parity with ICE equivalents and the used market is full of value right now.
