Man, y'all better put respect on Michael Keaton's name. That's the OG right there. I grew up with MK as the Batman. I guess every generation has their favorite. Just as Adam West was in my dad's day 😂😂😂😂😂
I think preference and default by my age are two different things. We give our age away with our choice lol. I didn’t watch any as a kid, so the first one I remember is Christian Bale, and to be fair, that’s not “my Batman”. I was a young adult by then.
It might have been mentioned already but the only song I remember is the siouxsie and the banshees’ face to face from this movie soundtrack. It is mutedly played almost as an instrumental maybe during the dance scene with Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle. This was around Siouxsie’s resurgence in the early 90s with “Kiss Them for Me”.
I’m going to put it out there that the best Batman was Kevin Conroy, who passed away a few months ago. He voiced the character for 30 years. He was also gay, so if any homophobes ask, the best Batman was Gay. I would recommend checking out Batman: Mask of the phantasm.
I loooooooove Batman. He's my favorite superhero. Keaton has been my favorite to take on the mantle. Pfeiffer is the ultimate Catwoman to me. I loved Eartha, but Michelle brought another level to the role. All of her lines were EVERYTHING!
I hated all the 90s Batman movies as a kid, but I’ve grown to like the first two, especially returns. Michael Keaton is not an ideal batman, but I liked what he did with his voice, and I think he has the best look in the actual mask.
Batman Returns is probably my favorite movie of all time. It was so ridiculous, campy, and sexy...definitely helped shape me into the man i am today😂 #teamRedTriangleGang
Every time you say "Penguin" it reminded of Benedict Cumberbatch mispronouncing it bigtime joke! Also, your delightful jabs at this having questionable scenes, made me think if I had I seen any ? Yes, only one with Nicole Kidman😊
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣!!!! Why'd you say Ben Affleck like that? And yes, Pfeiffer and DeVito definitely should've been at least nominated. Those were career defining roles.
I'm so glad this movie was picked. Way before the superhero saturation that we have had recently. I don't really mind the innuendos, considering how tame comic book movies are now. I saw this movie in the theater and they got some of the reels mixed up so it didn't really make sense but I was 12 so it didn't matter, lol. Michelle Pfeiffer really stoked my early lesbian/bi notions 😻
The only Batman I've liked is Christian Bale. Appreciation for Nolan and Bale. There are good actors in those movies - Cillian Murphy, Gary Oldman, Heath Ledger, Aaron Eckhart, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Tom Hardy and Marion Cotillard.
My brain isn't working. Anne Hathaway. I think. I kinda feel like she was only okay as SK/Catwoman. That might have been the writing for her part, though.
I love you two. I love your channel. This review right here though...oh no, no, no! Michael Keaton IS Batman! Christian Bale was great, but MIchael Keaton IS. (Period. Full stop.) Also, Batman is THE BEST superhero because he doesn't have any super powers. What he does have is ingenuity, bravado, and yes money. Of course there's a moderate amount of crime in Gotham. He has to drive everywhere, or swing on his rope. He also has a full-time day job running Wayne Enterprises, Inc. But he's still out here though taking down criminals! So let's COOL IT with the Micheal Keaton and Batman disrespect!
Ahhhh yes Omari Hardwick and Ian Bohen my fav happy gay youtube couple sorry I missed the live my girl and I went to the Zoo but cmon y’all I love Batman Returns and Batman is my fav superhero of all time easily 😂😭🤣
I would like to see them review 'What Lies Beneath.' I also wish they had made at least one Ben Affleck Batman movie. Chicago is Gotham. Moses is from Theology, not mythology.
Lmfao "the penguin had no ass... literally no ass." 😂😂😂
"Gotham stays raggedy." 😭😂💀😭😂

This was so fun to watch 😂💚 The Hairspray remake is DISGUSTING. Substituting Travolta for Divine is a war crime.
Hearing you guys try to think of the word wedgie made my entire morning!!!
Im here mainly for the inevitable cat cameo. 😅. ❤ U guys
Penguin scared the shit out of me as a kid 😬😂
Same.
Petition for Sigourney to play Giraffe Woman.
"A dirty hard-boiled egg" .... I'm ded 😆

*"PING-WIN"*
Age of Innocence is so good and utterly devastating. Great acting.
You know i have the soundtrack on cd and I've never seen this film lol

I said Orlando at the same time as Nick and swooned too. Love that film and love him in it.
I love this review! I remember seeing this at the theatre
Nick has joined the Church of the Collective! **Drinking Fresca
I agree with your choices about the best Batman actors.
Gotham’s gonna stay raggedy

This Batman was so fun. Yes the villains are the stars of the movie

Hold up! Did I hear Nick say he was in Third Grade when Batman Returns was released? Gawd, I'm old. 🤦🏻♀️
@@kokconsulting2Thanks 😏
Haha…he makes me feel old sometimes.
@fishjellyfilmreviews May I ask the age difference between you two, Joseph? I think you're closest to my age, which helps me feel not so old. 😄😁
I’m six years older.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣!!!! Why'd you say Ben Affleck like that? And yes, Pfeiffer and DeVito definitely should've been at least nominated. Those were career defining roles.
I love that the actor playing Christopher Walken’s son does the best Christopher Walken impersonation!
I think Victoria Pedretti would be an amazing Catwoman. Have you seen her in You and The Haunting of Hill House?
“How is he super, then?” HE’S NOT LOL. He’s just a rich guy. He is, by definition, NOT a superhero (big reason I don’t like Batman).
Joseph should watch "The Batman" (it's good too) and then you guys could do a compare review of the two different Batmans and Catwomans :)
I'm so glad this movie was picked. Way before the superhero saturation that we have had recently. I don't really mind the innuendos, considering how tame comic book movies are now.

And Michael Caine! Can't believe I forgot. 🤦🏻♀️

That comparison is perfect bc Omari and Ian are both fine fine
You guys are hilarious
Hey Nick and Joseph, when do you do the voting for movies that fans want you to review is it on your podcast?
The polls are located in the Community section our of RUclips page: www.youtube.com/@fishjellyfilmreviews/community
Thank you so much! @@fishjellyfilmreviews
It might not be the best Batman movie, but it's definitely the most iconic.
Have to disagree with Joseph, Michael Keaton is the only Batman!
Watch Into the Night and Scarface!
Nick, did you like Keaton in the first film? Or was he just not a good Batman to you?
Joseph acting like Sigourney is 7 foot tall!
A grotto! ❤️😄
Nick's Movie Nights sound fun!!! I will bring the fav snacks. Send me a list. 📝 🍿🍪🍹🍕🌮🧀
I always forget your cat's name, but she(?) is beautiful.
