In the 1890s a team of British archaeologists discover the untouched tomb of Princess Ananka but accidentally bring the mummified body of her High Priest back to life. Three years later back in England a follower of the same Egyptian religion unleashes the mummy to exact grisly revenge on the despoilers of the sacred past.

Maybe, but with all of those people and the two medjay standing next to him with weapons, i don’t think he would have gotten very far

@Alex’s Random Hijinks ikr like he just : nah I don't need to do anything besides let them do Whatever to me and make me watch as a door slowly closes for who knows how long and deal with it or go with it. Who needs to fight?
I especially liked how he so helpfully kept his mouth open so they could cut out his tongue more easily. But standing there so calmly waiting for the guards to walk him into the box was very nice and polite of him, too.

I glad they remake "Kharis" in this version, Cause the Universal was just flat out crap to watch. All four of them were terrible.
by four you mean the Kharis ones right? imhotep was a badass in 1932 and 1932 dramatization and acting wise was better than this 1959 even though 1959 did horror and thriller aspect better than 1932

Incredibly lame compared to Boris Karloff being entombed in the original. That was actually terrifying. This is just a guy in silly pajamas walking into a closet.
