We had so much fun trying such precious treats from Mexico😍 Thanks again Priscilla for your kind heart! Love you, everyone💕
Ur very welcome Mom. Everyone has given me soo much love. Back to responding to my fellow Hispanics and El Pasoans in the comment section.
You have to get through the chile to taste the corn (elote) & mango !
Crushing on both of you everytime 💕 this video was so fun:)
ReacThing moms i love you
@@justinduh10 you watch too much movies lmao
I love how she wasn’t disrespectful despite not liking some of the candies :,)
Ikr I love their attitude
I have never heard anyone on this channel be disrespectful or rude. I really like it, they seem so nice
Tabby ! I thought the same thing !! I loved this
I remembered my mom was watching a video like this and one person said something tasted like literal poop and that offended my mom.
they're so cute like omggg
them: **bites cookie**
*we’re in big trouble*
But that isn't a cookie?
Itzy McJibbles Granitos and Bizcochos
@@Waveripper36 bizcochos cuentan como galletas?
@@y.itzel57 bueno los dos son horneados xD
“Haha I’m in danger”
I love their reactions to eating all of the candies. Not like other people that exaggerate and make it seem like they don’t like anything !!! Anyways I love it!!
OH GOD U HAVE 1K THIS COMMENT IS MORE POPULAR
I know right like their reaction were cute haha and some people do really exaggerate
Who else grew up eating all of these 🙋🏽
Looks like nobody
Not me but most 😅
me haha, I really love the mazapan
I’m not Hispanic, but I grew up eating these because I lived in El Paso texas
I hadn't heard of any of the candies before. I grew up in Iowa and now live in WA state. Used to stay in TX for summers back in the 80's .. never saw any of it then. Loved seeing the different items. Hard for me to find candies and things I can eat since I have a corn allergy.
The real tragedy here is that there weren't pelon's or pulparindos
Hello atiny💜💜
Sorry I only had a short amount of time/ money. Sending stuff to Koreas was expensive. Next time for sure.
I prefer the red pulparindos the yellow ones are disgusting🤮
Agreed
@@zainabtaki3459 Hi
Yumi speaking English is a fandom now, I don't make the rules.
YES
I agree
🥺more please
sᴏᴄᴜᴛᴇ!!!
Agreed its so good and she sounds nice
bro i love how they weren’t disrespectful of the candys they just showed there opinions in a not bad way i love that 😳😤
Why be mad?
OddZzyy ? She not mad it mean she got mad respect for them
@@holylisa6454 oh I see
Every time they love a snack, they say “we’re in big trouble”. LMAO 😂
why do they say that though?
@@camilaolivera6027 cuz they prolly meant they would get addicted
Other people eating takis: “it’s spicy”
Them: “it’s very sour” 😂
The nitro flavor is a bit more sour, less spicy than the fuego flavor because of the chili used I guess. Habaneros tend to be more fruity and are the pepper used with stuff like mango salsa
Theyre not lying the sourness overpowers the spice
It has cytric acid in it so they are kind of sour and lime
Just thinking about it makes my mouth water
They should have tries the Fuego ones, they are way better
Their accents when they speak Spanish are so good omg sounds fluent or at least almost fluent
dumb bitch i was thinking the same thing!!! And they sound so cute speaking it
The pronunciation on point! Americans could never jkjk😜
@@cloverpancake I saw your reply and was so confused as to why you were so mad while answering lmao. Didnt realize "dumb bitch" was the person's user
Korean is just the Spanish of the Asian languages
The Ghost's Shadow no- the Philippines are
omg i love their spanish accents like it sounds like an actual native spanish speaker
it is easier for asians to pronounce spanish because it is somewhat similar ^^
When she broke the de la Rosa I got triggered
Well shes not Mexican its not like she had the skill to do it😆 only real Mexicans can! 😂🤗
April moreno that’s what I thought until my dad one of the most Mexican people I know born and raised in Michoacán in a farm opened one and failed to do so lol
Random kid who is not Kawaii Like Kawaii chan YO YOU FROM MICHOACÁN TOO?!!?
omg yeahhh she started breaking it inside and i was like "you- how can u-"
@@randomkidwholikedthisonech3964 Oh hey fellow Michoacána here, well my roots.
Your pronunciation for “elote” or any other word was PERFECT
lxvelypark IKR
It's easier for Koreans to learn Spanish because the languages are phonetically similar, both languages are very syllable based so when they read elote It literally reads elote in Korean as well.
Yea. Their pronunciation of spanish words was much better than I expected
Hello, I am Mexican and a fun fact about the “mazapanes” (the candy that zoey loved) is that they are so soft that in Mexico we challenge ourselves to open it and take the plastic away without breaking it, also in Mexico a HUGE amount of candy are made of tamarindo.
Sorry if my English is not that good, English is my second language :( I love your video btw
Brenda Perez I can confirm this, I live in the US, and we do that here too
When she started wiggling it casi grito😭😭😭
@@j3llyb33 hahaaa same I was like no hagas eso !
Lately, most mazapanes havent been as crumbly. Like it still breaks pretty easy and melts in your mouth but I don't have as much trouble opening them as I did as a kid.
@@purpleyuu5016 I noticed that a few years ago!!! Some of them come out completely together sometimes and before just trying to open them would break them
As a Mexican I’m very ✨comfortable✨ with the energy here I’m so happy you like the snacks 💜💜
yes agreed
Thank you for being nice and respectful 😭 When I was living in korea, I brought tamarindo candy to school.. and when I shared it with my class they all were so rude and disrespectful yelling “ewwwwww” and trying to force other boys in classes to taste it :/ I felt really alienated and sad :( it is important to be respectful when people share their culture with you.
Yes but also honesty is very important.
@@Tony-iu7sw honesty does not equal rudeness you can say you don’t like it and keep it at that.
@@meiyun4104 maybe in some cases but nowadays you can't be honest without someone being overly sensitive and get butthurt
@@Tony-iu7sw You can be honest and criticize something but still be cool about it. It also depends on the topic/situation. Though I do agree that some people can get butthurt easily.
@@Tony-iu7sw how would you feel if someone disrespected your culture's food?
There is no possible way the both of them are in their 30’s. They gotta be lying.
well in Korea and other places in Asia, the people look sooooooooo young
Asian dont raisin
As someone with asian(Indonesian) lineage and family i can confirm that we do not age. Then, in our 90s, it just hits us.
Why? Because they look young? I am in my late thirties and still look like I am in my early 20's. Sometimes if I am standing with a bunch of teenagers and young college students I look like I fit right in and people tend to guess my age is somewhere between 19-23. Which is laughable as I am 38.
sofalini JAHAHAAHHAHAHAHHAHAHA IM WHEEZING THAT WAS AMAZING
As a Mexican just watching this makes my mouth water 😂
Factsss
Jiji se me hacia agua en la boca 🤤😂
Jeon Jungkook WASSUPPPP ARMYYY???
BTS and anime are baeee uhhhh yeah!!!
Same
Love how you said “chamoy, sandia, and mango” sounds really good!
I love that Koreans know exactly the way to pronounce Spanish words! Love this.
I love that they enjoyed the candy, I’ve seen other videos of other cultures and they hate that we like spicy, sour and sweet all in one. You can’t beat that mazapán flavor though, I could eat them all day long 🥰
Was about to say the same thing
De La Rosas hit a whole other taste bud fr!!! Love them 💜💜💜
It's also the easiest one to make. You can literally make it just smushing peanut butter with powdered sugar.
Right! A lot of other people act like Mexican candy is bad and and even gag 😒 but we love our candy with multiple flavor. Sweet salty and spicy but also the mazapán is unbeatable
A couple of years ago I literally ate half a box of 30 in like an hour, my stomach was upset but I got my De La Rosa fix lol Did you know you can get a chocolate covered version?
Bro other races are like “it’s so spicy” and they start freaking out but us mexicans can chug a whole bottle of “valentina”😂💀🤚
bro, for real. we put that stuff on EVERYTHING 😌
hummmm...damn you catched us, regards
Finally someone said Valentina Hot Sauce 😭😭😭cause others act like Tapatío is king when really it’s not 🤢🤣🤣 Love Valentina
Valentina ain’t shit. We can do a whole shot of tobasco
_Hypnotize_ Tabasco isn’t too hot tho, great on tacos
"elotes"...
Memory: "ELOTES!?"

I still remember the drinks that came with it, like the pineapple drink and Orchata....... Good times, good times

Alondra NaMu OMG same!!
Yo what up El pasonias hehe same but from horizon city.

apparently spanish and korean share similar pronunciation styles :)
when they said “we’re in trouble”
if you were Mexican and you ate too much of that you would say that a lot.
But I mean? Who could blame us, it’s *BOMB*
I’m Mexican and your reactions were literally like mine 💀😂
soonbin dude I got the gerd eating too much lime and spice you know acid reflux, it suuuucks and can lead to esophageal cancer I’m just warning my fellow Mexicans don’t over do it !!!!!!! Ps I don’t have the Gerd and feel bad for anyone that has it however I do have horrible acid reflux now in my 30s and have to take Prilosec because lime makes my stomach burn. The end that’s what happens when you eat too much Mexican junk food. Probably any junk food with lime or spice too much. Ahhh I wish I had regular lays chips with Valentina and lime 😴 my kryptonite.
Haha true 😂
I hope you saved some for Grandma. I have a feeling she would love them, especially the homemade cookies!!
Unfortunately Yumi took them home. Soo I'm sure they are all gone by now..

@@amadorpriscilla7 yea but what country are they from?
I love how even tho they didn't like some of them they weren't disrespectful of the culture
I prefer honesty
Agree. There is a way to say, I don't like this without being disrespectful
“Hispanic”
That is the cutest way I’ve heard that said and she had the cutest letter
My dad owned a mexican candy store and I worked there, my least favorite thing was trying to help people look for something and their only description was that it was spicy or tamarind flavored. Like, please be more specific.
There's also a mazapan that's covered in chocolate, it was my favorite when I worked there.
A mazapan in chocolate😱!!!
I didn't see the "candy store" in the first millisecond I looked at this comment and....
Wait, what!!! There's a mazapán covered in chocolate??? I've never seen them
@@aileenmendez8484 yeah i don't think there common in a lot of places but they are De La Rosa brand
I found out about the mazapanes covered in chocolate last time I went to Tijuana. I like to go to the candy stores. I also buy party supplies for my kids because they are way cheaper.
Some Mexicans, me included, love tamarindo so much they made it into a soda flavor
Also aguas frescas :D!
Lissshope me encanta pa agua de melon y sandia pero tambien de limon y otras cosas
the way they were so polite and respectful over the ones they didnt like makes me remember there’s actually some nice people out there
felt really nice to watch them enjoy candies from my native state, they had me drooling over all the snacks auwkrbdj
koreans are so respectful 🥺 i’ve seen some videos of white people being so rude while trying mexican candy asking how kids could eat them or saying they’re disgusting some even went as far as acting like they wanted to throw up so thank you for this you guys are so nice and cute ✨
that's grouping a massive pool of people together and misrepresenting them but ok lol
When they like something a lot, they are so precious
I can feel my Mexican blood circulating through my veins

@@amadorpriscilla7 Don't forget! They'd love to have the recipe to those cookies!
Feeling really proud of my ethnicity right now after they said they liked the homemade treats the most :)
"When tamarind hits" xD omg as a Mexican I know exactly how it feels
When she folded that Mazapan in half, I literally cried out lol. Loved this video, but now I want to go out and buy some snacks...I can already feel the pain!
When childhood hits
I remember buying candy from the neighborhood grandma
She would price singles a quarter and a small handful three quarters
She would also throw in some homemade cookies
I miss her
My neighborhood candy dealer
We had someone like in my old neighborhood he used to roast corn and cover them in I think it was mayo, and chili and sometimes he would bring other stuff to coat the corn. He also brought really big bags of these circular (almost looked like funyuns but weren't) chip thingies. Its unfortunate I never got to eat the guys stuff I just remember seeing him everyday and wanting to eat it but my grandma thought he was sketch even tho half the neighborhood flocked over to eat and no one ever had problems.
ItaMochi Vargas the corn is called elote, and i think you might be referring to mexican chicharrones (different from pork skin chicharrones)
ItaMochi Vargas oh you’re taking about an elotero😭! They also sell raspados (shaved ice). I always see them especially during the summer time I hope you get to see one some other time the food is so delicious
ItaMochi Vargas also the circular Funyun like chip you were taking about are called Duritos. You can also find them in Hispanic stores. Just top them with Chile and lime or just lime if you’re not into spicy
ItaMochi Vargas I miss the elotero :( I haven’t seen him. His friend died (his friend used to sell some popsicles, like spongebob and idk) so the elotero started selling the elotes and popsicle things. Imma try to get some of the elote cups or idfk when I see him. There’s also a lady (or 3 people that sell them at their home) who sell raspados in my neighborhood, one of them also sells tacos. There’s another lady who sells tamales, they’re good. There’s a girl’s mom (a girl that I kinda of talk to) who sells gorditas. They’re GOOD. There’s more mexican things in my neighborhood, it’s basically full of Mexicans or just Spanish speakers. There’s also a small store that sells mexican candies. I’m sorry that this is long.
Yumi speaking English is my new religion 😻
Btw that "mi amiga está loca" got me 😂
Ü
When y'all started eating my favorite chips my mouth went watering
4:38 Yumi looks like she's going to smack Zoey and Zoey's looks scared that she's going to do it 😂
its so weird how I've always wanted to try their food from their culture and there is some people wanting to try Mexican things too, but I see that as my everyday life 😆
Yeah, it's almost like everyone's culture seems regular and mundane to them and is seen as something foreign and exciting to people outside their culture.
FlowerTower when you say it like that you are so right. The grass isn’t always greener only sometimes, if possible rarely. However when it comes to food you can’t go wrong just don’t go eating things not meant to be eaten like cats and rats and bats and ewww imma throw up 🤢.
Ayleen Pena bruh dame
When you realize one day the title will be "Korean's in their 40's"
And they would still look the same
They deadass look like they’re in their early 20s

Not Mexican, but Dominican and Argentinian. I wanted to say that your pronunciations in Spanish are very good. Your R's are perfectly rolled, and you said everything in Spanish perfectly.
Like in English mango is main-go and in Spanish it's mahn-go with a short "go", which you said correctly. Many of our words have very short sounds, like staccato notes.
