Also in my city they sell the waffer and cajeta apart and you can make one on your own, two slices of oblea and one tablespoon of cajeta and call it heaven, also the wafers come in sizes, I've seen some obleas head size. Mexican candies are waaaaay over the spicy ones, I know because I don't like tamarind lmao

Not that there’s anything wrong with it but most youtubers only try the spicy candy, which is completely out of the norm for them since they usually think of sweet stuff when thinking of candy. Aaaahhh that last one is my personal favorite. Had a big one last night! Super tasty, it has Cajeta in the middle of the two wafers, its chewy and sweet and the wafers really balance out the sweetness with a plainer taste. Soooooo goooood💕

The obleas (the white part) are basically like the little communion wafers you get at church - “the body of Christ” wafers. The thing that looks like tamarind I don’t know what it’s called but it kinda stick the wafers together. In Mexico there’s larger ones from with different colors. Like pink and blue purple. And yellow. They also come in little packages just that the thing that looks like tamarind doesn’t come with it. But they have many different colors!

The last one is an oblea with cajeta. Obleas are basically communion wafers, without being blessed. Cajeta is a caramel/dulce de leche made out of goat's milk.
