Last week I ordered two of those iPrimio litter mats, the large 32 x 30 inch size, in tan. They just arrived today. OMG, I figured they'd be shipped rolled up in narrow little packaging. They were shipped FLAT, one each in two ginormous Amazon boxes twice as big as the mats! I swear they're each 5 feet long! Why in the world didn't the Amazon people just put them in a single box? (Rhetorical question, I know.) I'll install them tomorrow at a couple of the downstairs locations and see how they work out.
Thanks for your no-nonsense, straightforward information and reviews! I love your approach to it being all about whats best for the cat and not about for the humans!! ;D You do a great job. thank you!! Best purrs ;D
Kahlua, my cat has been with me for 12 years, I bought a Petsafe Scoopfree Self-cleaning lillerbox 2 months ago when we moved into a new apartment in Brooklyn, it was the right decision.
What comment? If you don't mind, I'm very curious and trust her advice as well. I have a Leo's Loo Too and am having some issues and considering just returning it and trying Litter Robot 4 instead. Was near impossible to find any real non-paid reviews for the Leo's Loo Too before buying & can't really get a read on if it's a worthwhile company or product
Someone like you, in the cat community, should partner with a company that's actually trying to make an actually working automatic litter box .. One that doesn't have all the downfalls of the ones on the market ! One that you would recommend ! This would make our lives easier .. & would make you rich in the process.. I would but, noone knows who I am 😂🤑
What EXACTLY does she mean 'not being the best choice for cats' and that the cat might not 'enjoy' it? I figure either the cat USES it or it DOESN'T... I'm not sure I'm capable of discerning his level of enjoyment crapping in a tray vs. one of these egg things?
Amazon skews the reviews anyway. You can't post a truthful review because they review and approve or deny. My 2 cents. Plus I'm skeptical because there's way too many vine reviews
My dang cat won’t use the damn thing. I even shut the unit off. I stopped cleaning his usual one, And I placed some of his waste inside. Still. He won’t freaking use the thing. $700 down the toilet. Literally
I had SO many sensor issues with the Litter-Robot three which stopped cycling completely after three years and the warranty was done...So horrible! I'm really preferring the Leo's Loo Too!
I love my litter robot connect 3 . The only thing is I have already had to replace the DFI sensor after 1 year. Wish I could afford the litter robot 4 it looks awesome !
Very good advice. We've been using a Litter-Robot 3 Connect for almost 3 years and have never regretted the purchase. When we first got it, the cats thought it was a toy, but thankfully, the Litter Robot has sensors to detect when a cat is inside and stops until the cat gets out. Besides routine cleaning, the only maintenance has been to rub some Pledge furniture polish on the felt strips that the "ball" rotates on. This keeps the Litter-Robot rotating smoothly.
My 2 cats go in my Robot 3 all the time while it’s cycling.. I get Over Torque Fault every day. I’ve had it for 2yrs. It’s frustrating cuz I’m never home when they do this
Yeah I’m hating mine right now too, my sensor is corroded and I have to fix it at my expense and the shipping takes forever! I had that it stops mid cycle, it does this noise as if the bonnet isn’t attached properly but it is, I have had it for 3 years! I was gonna update to LR4 but after this I don’t think I would as they are also having a lot of issues
@@Hivydar I’m gonna try to sell my by the end of the year .. it’s more work than a box. I’d rather scoop .. I still have to scoop bits out when the clumps break apart from the fall .. annoying and not one litter I’ve tried works longer then 3 months. The formulas always change or don’t work all.
@@paigebunny1 I’m hoping to fix mine hopefully it fixes, which it sucks, bc I’m not technical at all and I’m afraid that I might damage it even more. I’m just waiting on the damn shipment part I don’t understand why it’s going from Toronto Milwaukee and back to Toronto which is around where I am. The whole company sucks! In regards to litter I will try the sustainably yours litter which I believe is corn based and I heard a lot of good things about it. One thing I hate about the LR3 is that it get litter in the sensor area, like the waste compartment if you know what I mean, if this doesn’t work I’m probably gonna have to look at alternatives. Reviews are so hard bc they are so bias. 🤦🏻♀️
The thing I see with most of these ALB is the area the cat is suppose to use is so small. I had one of the first Litter Robots, my friends called it my cement mixer. I did everything they suggested, called a few times with questions, but y one girl never got the hang of once inside she had to turn around like the photo the company used. I had two cats at the time the smaller one used it but wasn't thrilled and my other girl, when she tried to use it usually ended up doing her business on the entrance step which at that time was almost impossible to clean. Then she finally said nope I'm going on the floor and that was the end of my experience with the first Litter Robot. Crazy stuff we do. In the end no matter how much we spend, we are still carrying a bag of dirty litter out to the trash can. If you clean the litter box it won't smell. Love your channel.
Appreciate your honest reviews. I also noticed a huge amount of paid reviews and videos on some oversea brands. It's better to purchase local market brand to get the best customer service down the road.
I have pura X for 14 months and the weight sensor acts up, leaving it useless. The glitch is common. (Detects cat i side the litter box and wont clean/cycle even there’s no cat inside). No parts available. Out of warranty so cant so anything about it. So i agree that it’s best to invest with cat genie or litter robot because they manufacture their own here in the US.
Mrs. Cat lady I need to know which automagic litter box is good and not too costly. Something cheaper. My male cat Chester doesn't know how to cover his poo, he just doesn't understand. This makes my female cat Eunie upset and she protests by pooping outside the box. One of these devices would most likely solve my issue.
I was wondering have you tried the Petkit Pura Max yet? I’ve been trying to decide between that or the Litter Robot 4.. would love to hear your thoughts on comparing the two. Love the content! Huge help
Pura x or the max have the same weight sensor defect. You will be fortunate if it’s still under warranty. Mine acted up after 14mos. It’s amazing when it’s working. Support is useless as well.
I almost never bother reading the Amazon reviews, knowing how many of them are fake. I know it’s become a big problem with Amazon in particular. Watched a documentary about it recently as well.
I had a litter robot3 connect. I'm now using a Pura X from Petkit. Huge upgrade. Same price but better design and form factor. Highly recommend. They don't advertise it enough.
@@acesauce_media You can take it apart much easier to clean. The form factor is a squarish shape so you can put it in the corner. There are more sensors and a better app which helps prevents my cats from jumping back in and knocking their poop out-a thing they do. It also has a built in like deoderizer compartment that you can put in a liquid it'll spray over the litter to neutralize it. Out of the box you get more too. A litter mat that they designed so it fits it perfectly. Really I hate the idea of people dropping 5-600 bucks on a litter robot when it's so inferior in everyway except for overall capacity. I would say if your cats are larger than the average shorthair around 10-13lbs then the Pura X is too small.
Thank you so much for your comment I am on fence right now I am gonna buy either LR 3 or PX I hadn’t even heard about Pura X until I started wat hung more reviews everything was LR 3 or 4.. I would Love a LR 4 but I just can’t spend that extra $200 $500 is enough so LR 3 or Pura X is where I am
I've owned 3 litter robots now.... each of them broke in the exact same way. Rather than fixing their design flaw they want to sell you parts and have you fix it yourself. So frustrating
May I ask which one is your personal favourite of the automatic litter boxes? Also Im worried the smell will come out the junkbox if i clean it once a week, will it?
I stay away from litter-robot brand altogether now. The motors rust and the glove doesn’t seal completely getting litter in places it shouldn’t be. I had the original all the way up to the connect 3 and same issues every time with tray being half full but registered as full. Wi-Fi connection was hit and miss. Plus for those that don’t have a space outside to clean the globe will absolutely hate cleaning them. Best one I’ve used so far is the PETKIT Pura Max which solves a lot of these problem. If you have a cat that like to urinate towards the front of the box it’s definitely not for you. The front lip isn’t sufficient to force you cat to go fully in the globe.
Interesting. I’ve been using the LR Connect 3 since 2018 with no maintenance issues. I only have 1 cat though. It used to error a lot, but it was user error as I wasn’t pulling the liners down low enough. I also don’t allow the waste draw to fill up anymore. With one cat I just change it every 4-5 days. He’s on an ultrahigh quality food now so he doesn’t produce a lot of feces anymore. The tray isn’t remotely full in 4-5 days but I think it’s just a good idea not to go beyond that. Now that I keep the liners down low there are no issues. How would the motor rust? Sorry that happened. I hope I don’t have any unknown leaks yikes. You’re right about the wifi. Lol. I gave up on that. It doesn’t reconnect on its own which is problematic.
I sold my Litter Robot after years of struggling with it. We had to replace boards that corroded, and also the liner. It was a pain to clean, dust collected on the internal components, and it was horribly, incredibly noisy. I replaced it with a Leo's Loo II, which is easier to clean, but not ideal as it has no auto-dumping feature to empty it out for cleaning. The funnel to the waste drawer is also a bit constricting, sometimes a large clump will get stuck. I don't know if the UV feature actually decreases odor, but it does seem to smell less than the LR. Still not perfect but it is an improvement over the LR, certainly.
@@kgal1298 They do seem to have made a number of engineering improvements. But I'm not investing $650 in one to find out just how much better it might be, especially since I've already replaced the old one with a Leo's Loo Too.
@@yvonnedavis2955 I sold my connect 3 and used regular litter boxes for a while. I finally did get another automatic litter box. I ended up getting the PETKIT Pura Max. Nice wide opening and the way it disposes of the litter has worked so much better than the LR. None of the mechanical components are housed under the globe. The globe is so much easier to clean too. PETKIT keeps adding software functionality too which is nice. So far it’s been my favorite automatic litter box to date.
Believe or not we use the scoop free machine for our pets. Talk about going through the good and bad of the litter box and kitty litter. 😳 The box that held the crystals did not work at all for us. It truly hurts their paws & it did not function at all well for the machine. So we got fed up with the crystals and found the never ending kitty litter box that connects to the machine on the bottom and it has lasted for many years to come. 😊 Truly a dream come true despite checking the box in between days to clean up the scoops of their poo and urine clumps. Here is what we figured out about the problem with the litter we use towards the machine if you want your machine to last a long time. The clumping kitty litter will destroy your machine. 😵💫 How? We found out that the clumping litter will not be easily remove by the machine. Sometimes it will be glued to your bottom of the box and it will stop the machine dead in it's tracks. Causing your litter box to malfunction. Believe it or not, we ripped apart our litter box to fix this problem & after 6 years, we went out and got another box. BUT, we tried a different litter to work with on the machine and hands down the best kitty litter to use for the machine is Pretty Kitty Litter. Still check the litter people!? The machine is just collecting and not dumping out. Still check for these things. The Pretty Kitty Litter functions very well for these machines instead of being glued to the box like clay to make it very hard to get it out of your machine. So far, our cats are still using the machine to this day and we had zero problems with it despite the checking. Hands down coming from true pet owners. 😊
Hi, are you going to be testing the new Furbulous automatic litter box ? I just purchased 2 on indiegogo , they’re supposed to be shipped to social influencers now or very soon.
@@AllAboutCatsYT Ah awesome. Hope you had a really nice time over here and everyone was welcoming. Do you travel over often? Your videos are always in-depth, very informative and unbiased. The best on RUclips, so a big thank you for your great work.
You need it if you have 5 cats ...no one can scoop out that much to keep the smell down...poop poop poop poop poop over and over and over again...but I'm hesitant to pay 5-700 for something that may not work, or has terrible customer support
I think this wasn’t as helpful as I was expecting. You say you’ve used lots of automated litter boxes but you don’t explain the pros and cons of each. Hard to know if you are being genuine.
Sorry about that! Maybe you'll feel more confident if you watch this video, which talks a bit more about the testing and analysis behind these claims: ruclips.net/video/pNQOG4Jh-CY/видео.html
Thanks great video ! Next would it be possible to make a comparative evaluation of manual self cleaning litter boxes, like omegapaw or catit smartsift, so we could see if it’s possible to have some of the comfort of self cleaning without the pricetag of a litter robot ?😊
The mat is definitely a good one, but I'm not 100% sure about the effectiveness of the packets. I had them in briefly and didn't notice much of a difference. Other customer reviews suggest that they may not be all that helpful.
Hi. Everything you said are so true. Iam using the Catlink for 2 years now. Its still ok, what you said about cat sand going in through gaps are true. I am planning on buying another one but iam not sure if i want to buy Catlink again. Although their app, services and warranty are good, its just that everytime I clean the box, I still need to check the crevices if its filled with excess sand. My options are Meet, Petree, Petlink. Unfortunately, litter robot is not available in our county. What can you recommend with less gaps? Your opinion will be much appreciated. Thank you!
I cant tell you how much i disagree with your first 'thing', just because a company develops their own product and being around the block for a while doesn't mean they will produce good products, look at GoPro for instance, ive owned 4 iterations of those, and the worse was Hero 9, so they made 8 versions previous that where better, same with Sony and their TV brands, some of the later ones are worse then the previous one, same with Microsoft and their windows platforms, i could go on but you get my point..... Just because they are a developed company making their own product doesn't mean you will make great products every time, infact its quit the opposite, they tend to lean on their brand name to sell products instead of developing great products.
Well, it doesn't necessarily mean they make good products or innovate well, but I don't see how that makes the opposite true-that *not* making their own products means that they'll produce something better. These products are generally manufactured quite cheaply in China, and I've really not gotten a good impression of most of them. Perhaps I should have phrased it more carefully, but I think the ultimate message is still accurate.
I see in the background of your videos, that you had a Leo’s Loo Too. What did you think of that one? I didn’t see your review of it. I did see a Litter Robot 4 review. I’m not real thrilled with their customer service; mine might be going back. I’m wondering if the Loo is any better. I enjoy your well thought out videos. Thank you
Hi Jeremy, I've decided against making a video on the Leo's Loo Too, but I've had a number of issues with it. Some of the problems I had with the litter box: it didn't manage to sift out a lot of the clumps, the litter bed fill line is inaccurate, and I struggled to move it around because of the handle placement. I know a lot of others seem to like it a lot, so perhaps it would be worth the try.
I have 4 rescued cats. I have the Litter-Robot 3 Connect and the Litter-Robot 4. Great product and great customer service. My cats love the Litter-Robot 4 more than the Litter-Robot3.
Still using the latest Litter maid after 20 yrs. Mine average 10 to 15yrs. Haven't used clumping litter in 15 yrs. Been using Fresh Step crystals for litter. Alot easier to clean. My youngest cat,( 16mo. kitten) thought it was a toy for 1st week (we have 3 black cats...) I think I got my $s worth over this time.
Thank you for this informative video! So many things to ponder before making this "investment". I gather that you are not a fan of automatic litter boxes. 🙂 I'm a bit confused though about how to use Alibaba to research if these companies are legit or not. Guess I may need to look for a RUclips video on Alibaba, as I have never heard of it.
Do you like the Leo loo too? How does it do with keeping odors in? Would you get the Leo loo too or the litter robot 3? I’m gonna order one today because I hate the design of the pura max 😩
The Leo's Loo Too did a good job of locking in odors in the waste drawer, but I had an issue with it not cycling out my cats' waste. The chute isn't big enough and doesn't have the right angle to ensure that everything passes through into the drawer, and the clumps ended up being carried around in circles. The company says that this is not normal and that most cats will have significantly smaller clumps, but having tried many automatic litter boxes, I can say that this isn't something affecting other automatic litter boxes, and I don't think my cats' urine volume should be blamed for what definitely seems like a design flaw. It's also worth mentioning that the unit doesn't have an auto-empty function, which makes it a little difficult to clean out. While something like the LR4 and most other automatic litter boxes will automatically dump out all of the litter at the push of a button, the Leo's Loo Too requires you to remove the entire globe and pour it out. Overall, while the Litter-Robot has its share of malfunctions and issues, I think it's a better-designed product that performs more consistently than the Leo's Loo Too, and I trust it a lot more.
@@AllAboutCatsYT thank you so much for taking the time to write that up, I appreciate it! I have a small munchkin cat so hopefully that wouldn’t be an issue if I did go with the Loo Too. As far as keeping odors in and everything.. what one does a better job with that between the litter robot vs the Loo Too? That’s one thing I hated about the Pura Max. Just an awful design all around, I mean for me at least. I 100% would go with the LR4 but i unfortunately can’t wait 6-7 weeks or I’d literally buy it right now :/
@@mckaykimball I think theoretically if the Loo is actually cycling out your cat's waste properly, it might do a better job of odor control compared to the LR3. The enclosed waste drawer is a great idea, and I noticed that everything in there was locked in quite well. I do want to note that the Leo's Loo Too also has a design flaw where the handles are placed in an odd location, so it tends to tip over when you try to carry it (you can see this early in this video), and the pieces don't hold together well enough, so it tends to fall apart when it hits the ground. I overall get the sense that it's not all that well-designed, but I know a lot of people seem to like it a lot.
@@AllAboutCatsYT okay sweet! I think I’ll try the Loo Too and get it from Chewy so I have a nice trusted return policy. I think I want the most odor control possible, I’m just hoping the cycling works good enough for my kitties clumps. Thank you again for the help!
No, we're not planning to review the Leo's Loo Too on the All About Cats channel. I will note that I had multiple issues with it during my testing period, and I would not recommend it in spite of the many positive reviews from other users.
I definitely needed my Litter Robot 3 Connect! SO do not miss scooping 2X or more per day. Fortunately we've been blessed with cats that have no problems understanding what the Litter Robot is for.
I bought Litter-Robot 3x when it was working it’s fine but now it stop working and now they have high request on Litter-Robot 4. I can’t get hold of their service to help me fix it and I tried all the method it suggested online but nothing work. Now I am just thinking get a different brand but not sure which one should I go to😢.
I know Litter-Robot support seems to be pretty bad right now; it seems the LR4 launch was too much for them to handle without these problems. My other preferred brands would be the CatGenie if you're willing to deal with some preparation, plumbing, and moisture, or the ScoopFree if your cat is okay with crystal cat litter.
I have a litter robot 4 coming and I have a Leo's Loo all my cats use the Loo and I have 5 cats so I'm already cleaning out the pan more than normal, but it's saving me a lot of time with cleaning and I found just vacuuming out loose litter from the bottom pan every 3 days to make the clean up quite easy. I also keep a normal litter box as well just in case any of them want that option, but it does seem like they generally don't care as long as the box is clean which I'm lucky because I did read reviews about cats not taking to it which is why I picked out a brand with a long return policy. I do think some people buy them and don't realize you can return them in 60-90 days, though it's a pain to mail things back I'm the type that'll do it so it was never an issue for me.
Im also curious which litter box you like more between litter robot 4 and Leo’s loo? I’m looking to get one I have a young Siberian cat and trying to figure out which would be best.
Well young lady, you provided just the information I was looking for. 500-700+ dollars is quite an investment. One would like to think you could get at least three years plus out of use. My one complaint is paying for an extended warranty, why should one need an extended warranty when spending that kind of money! Great informative presentation.
These things are always WAY more trouble than they're worth! I only have 1 cat, and actually stopped even using Store Bought 'litter'. I just fill the box with DIRT from the garden, and dump, clean & fill with fresh dirt every couple of days. He craps in the garden outside, so why am I spending HUNDREDS of dollars a year to buy bags of 'real litter' that's designed to be shit in and thrown out?
Thank you so much for this video. I have watched many videos, but yours was crucial to determine if I still want to go ahead and buy the automatic cat litter and confirmed which brand to buy 🙏🙏
At work this family had three cats and I saw they had a litter robot in their personal bathroom. Personally it’s too big and unsightly for me. Maybe if I had more than one cat I’d consider it but for now it doesn’t seem right for me
To anyone with a automatic cat litter box: I’ve been looking into buying it but my cat has tremendous poops and i’m afraid the box might not sift it out, is there one with a large opening for larger clumps?
I’m interested in the pet safe scoop free litter box but not sure how I feel about the blue crystal litter 🤔 Even though it says it’s safe it just makes me feel like it’s really not the healthiest choice for pets lol
FYI! Amazon is one of the worst to check for reviews. The companies selling the products give free products for review but the reviews have to be good. They pay for reviews. I myself had my Amazon account hacked. The hacker left bad reviews on products competing with theirs or the ones they were paid to leave the bad reviews for. I’m sure they do the same with the good reviews. I e been barred from Amazon for 4 years from leaving reviews because of this even though it wasn’t my fault that the reviews were left.
I'm not planning to review the Leo's Loo Too, but I did have a number of problems with it-it didn't manage to sift out a lot of the clumps, the litter bed fill line is inaccurate, and I struggled to move it around because of the handle placement.
7:25 dang I came across this video looking for something to replace my ScoopFree for my very large Maine Coon. She sometimes will pee right outside of it when I have the lid on. But with the lid off, litter gets everywhere.
The Smarty Pear company is unclear on this-they say that their product is manufactured overseas, and they have not explicitly denied that the Chinese products on Alibaba, etc. are not the same model that they use. Whitelabeling is a common and normal business practice in which a company puts their label/brand on an existing product, and I've seen it done by numerous other automatic litter box brands.
@@AllAboutCatsYT I emailed them regarding manufacturing and didn’t say anything regarding alibaba… This is what they said: “Thank you for reaching out to us at Smarty Pear! We have our products manufactured in China as is all of automatic litter boxes out there. Our team and warehouses are all located in the United States, mostly California. We have all the parts for any replacements here in our warehouses and all parts are covered under 1 or 3 year warranties. The parts if needed, are shipped from California.” That being said… I would not feel comfortable buying a litter box for 700 + when you can purchase an identical one on Alibaba for a little over $150… with risks of course… back to square one
@@AllAboutCatsYT you inspired me to research… i didn’t even know this was something people did … I feel played 😣 especially by all those ads.. they really get your heart strings
A bit off topic but will you ever do a video on how to go through a death? It’s inevitable and I find myself looking at my 2yr old standard issued cat and sometimes thinking of how one day I will have to deal with it.
Just got my cat a Leo’s loo 2 and it’s been working without a hitch so far he is on the small/medium size so this may be why I haven’t seen any issues with it.
Hi Todd, yes! I do have the Feeder-Robot. We haven't done a review of it, specifically, but I do talk about it in our review of the best automatic cat feeders: allaboutcats.com/best-automatic-cat-feeder
@@AllAboutCatsYT One feature you neglected to mention in your reviews is a built-in WiFi camera. I’m seeing a bunch of automated pet feeders on Amazon for half the price of a Feeder Robot and have this feature. When you travel as much as I do, it’s nice to see my furry friends up close. :)
Thanks Mallory for all of your fabulous information! Please forgive the length of my reply below to @mateuszkwietowicz2470. For the time being, no-we've had some issues with the company asking us not to do a review of their product. I had many problems with the product being impossible to carry, falling apart easily, and not sifting out all clumps. However, we've decided to respect their suspicion that we may be biased against them and not publish a review sharing these problems.
@@AllAboutCatsYT thank you for the answer. I'll do thorough testing when mine arrives. I think you should do the review. The point of the review is to show pros and cons, not just pros. It's not fair for them to ask you not to review.
@@AllAboutCatsYT I'm glad I saw this comment. I'm possibly in the market for an automatic litter box, and now I know not to even consider Leo's Loo Too. Thank you for this video. I don't have a cat yet, but I've been considering an automatic litter box for when I get one, because I am blind and am not sure how easily I could clean a regular litter box.
Very interesting. On one hand, I think an automatic litter box would be helpful, since you could more or less "set it and forget it". On the other hand, a malfunctioning automatic litter box would be a lot harder to deal with if you have impaired vision. Scooping is a relatively consistent task, and even for people who can see well, you mostly do it by feel rather than by sight. This Reddit thread has some nice tips for taking care of the litter box when blind: www.reddit.com/r/Blind/comments/nb1djl/how_can_a_person_who_is_blind_clean_a_cats_litter/
I've had my first cat for a year now and she has been using a sifting box with tractor supply pine litter. It's cheap, no smell if you dispose of the poop regularly, and just overall painless. With the money you save you can get a 25 pound dog food storage container that oddly holds a 40 pound bag of pine litter and a stainless steel sealed trash bin to put the poop in.
@@ChibiGrl My newest boy was the same. I have extra trays since I use sifting litter boxes. I had him on 100% pine in 3 days just by sprinkling his regular clumping litter on top of the pine. All he saw was the illusion of clumping litter with less clumping litter each day. My first baby girl oddly took to it on day one.
Unfortunately people get all hyped up before they do the research. Sounds great, never deal with litter again. Then it comes and your stuck with this noisy big monstrosity that ironically has very little room inside for your cat. I wouldnt use one of these things if they were free. Same people who buy this are buying roomba's and then never cleaning the roomba out.

It's a good idea, and I've certainly thought about it! Thank you!
What EXACTLY does she mean 'not being the best choice for cats' and that the cat might not 'enjoy' it?
I figure either the cat USES it or it DOESN'T... I'm not sure I'm capable of discerning his level of enjoyment crapping in a tray vs. one of these egg things?
I am in the market for a robot litter box and we’re narrowing down our options so this was EXACTLY the video I needed right now.
Happy to hear it. 😎
Literally
Your tip #4 is an excellent & quick way of proving the brand/company. Overall, very comprehensive, honest, and helpful guide as always Mallory.👍
Hey Rico, good to see you! Thanks for the feedback.
I ordered litter robot 4. I'm nervous because its a big investment.
@@Hivydar hope it works out .. 🙏
I’m waiting on you to review that Leo’s Loo Too!! Is there a reason you haven’t reviewed it yet?
@AllAboutCatsYT Is this just sponsored content for Leo's Loo Too? It's showcased through the entire video but never mentioned.
Huge help
someone in the comments said Pura X is good
It seems perfect
I have pura x and pura max, and I recomend pura max for sure!!
I've heard they have terrible customer support and service
Pura x or the max have the same weight sensor defect. You will be fortunate if it’s still under warranty. Mine acted up after 14mos. It’s amazing when it’s working. Support is useless as well.
I have a litter box 3 that I love! I’m waiting for my two litter box 4’s to come in still I can’t wait! Thanks for advice!
Hello 👋,, how are you doing today; how’s everything going over there 👉 I hope it was a blessed day for you Laura?
Hey I ordered two litter robot 4’s how is yours holding up?
I almost never bother reading the Amazon reviews, knowing how many of them are fake. I know it’s become a big problem with Amazon in particular. Watched a documentary about it recently as well.
I had a litter robot3 connect. I'm now using a Pura X from Petkit. Huge upgrade. Same price but better design and form factor. Highly recommend. They don't advertise it enough.
Whats better I’m thinking bout getting my first auto box and I’m really torn
@@captainchau 444
Thank you so much for your comment I am on fence right now I am gonna buy either LR 3 or PX I hadn’t even heard about Pura X until I started wat hung more reviews everything was LR 3 or 4.. I would Love a LR 4 but I just can’t spend that extra $200 $500 is enough so LR 3 or Pura X is where I am
Wait until your weight sensors will act up. I have mine 14months and it’s useless now. Support is no help.
I've owned 3 litter robots now.... each of them broke in the exact same way. Rather than fixing their design flaw they want to sell you parts and have you fix it yourself. So frustrating
You have the Leo's Lou Litter box in the thumbnail ^^ , can we expect a cute review about it soon..
Was hoping you'd review the leo loo too.
May I ask which one is your personal favourite of the automatic litter boxes? Also Im worried the smell will come out the junkbox if i clean it once a week, will it?
At 7:00 (in Zelda Rubenstein voice) - Go into the egg, Forest, go into the egg. There is peace and serenity in the egg.
After all that use, which boxes do you recommend now?
@@yvonnedavis2955 The newer model is lower on decible range. They did realize they had this issue.
Sending you a hello from the UK. Your videos are always great and very helpful. Thank you
Hello Mark! I was in England a couple of weeks ago, actually! Great to have you here. :-)
@@AllAboutCatsYT Ah awesome. Hope you had a really nice time over here and everyone was welcoming. Do you travel over often?
Your videos are always in-depth, very informative and unbiased. The best on RUclips, so a big thank you for your great work.
you are the best cat product reviewer on the internet.
You need it if you have 5 cats ...no one can scoop out that much to keep the smell down...poop poop poop poop poop over and over and over again...but I'm hesitant to pay 5-700 for something that may not work, or has terrible customer support
Thank you and congratulations on your play button
Take a shot every time she says automatic lifted box. I think we’re up to 40 😅
PLEASE TEST CAT WHEELS!!! (thumbs up if you agree)
Will you review the Leo lol too? I see it there in the background but can’t find a video 😊
Both my s like to get in my old Litter Robot 3 when it’s cycling. Drives me nuts. Let it finish guys! Lol
Based on your video and our cat we are ordering the Litter Robot 4. Do you think the litter mat and/or the odor packets are effective?
Thank you!
So basically - don't buy from Amazon or Alibaba !
I really appreciate that you’re here too, Mallory. You’re my #1 resource for all things cats. Thank you for all you do!! ❤
Thank you-this is a really sweet message. Appreciate it. Take care!
I heard it took some time for cats to get used to it?
Like most pet products: designed and made poorly. Thank you for all you do.
I'm a bit confused though about how to use Alibaba to research if these companies are legit or not.
@@AllAboutCatsYT thank you!!!
Thank you so much!!!!!
My first cat jumps right in used it the matter of a second. My other cat took them two months to use it.
Any reviews on the Leo’s Loo Too?
No, we're not planning to review the Leo's Loo Too on the All About Cats channel. I will note that I had multiple issues with it during my testing period, and I would not recommend it in spite of the many positive reviews from other users.
I definitely needed my Litter Robot 3 Connect! SO do not miss scooping 2X or more per day. Fortunately we've been blessed with cats that have no problems understanding what the Litter Robot is for.
I build the lr4
I bought Litter-Robot 3x when it was working it’s fine but now it stop working and now they have high request on Litter-Robot 4. I can’t get hold of their service to help me fix it and I tried all the method it suggested online but nothing work. Now I am just thinking get a different brand but not sure which one should I go to😢.
I emailed them in August and still not hear back yet
Have you received your robot 4 yet? Do you like one more than the other? I am looking to purchase one or the other. Just haven’t decided which yet.
Im also curious which litter box you like more between litter robot 4 and Leo’s loo? I’m looking to get one I have a young Siberian cat and trying to figure out which would be best.
I would also like to know which one you like better.. 😊
The world needs to know Kate! Give us an update
Ma'am the people are waiting om am update...
Which litter box do you use at your home
Well young lady, you provided just the information I was looking for. 500-700+ dollars is quite an investment. One would like to think you could get at least three years plus out of use. My one complaint is paying for an extended warranty, why should one need an extended warranty when spending that kind of money! Great informative presentation.
They are scamming our kitties lol
I wish I saw this earlier. The crappy “Chillx egg” in your video is literally the one I bought two years ago and costs a lot of time to fix.
Congrats on your book! 🐈 📕

yay just the video i needed from you!!
Are are you insinuating that the Leo’s Loo two is basically a Chinese made litter box that has a sticker on it claiming that it’s their product?
The Smarty Pear company is unclear on this-they say that their product is manufactured overseas, and they have not explicitly denied that the Chinese products on Alibaba, etc. are not the same model that they use. Whitelabeling is a common and normal business practice in which a company puts their label/brand on an existing product, and I've seen it done by numerous other automatic litter box brands.
@@AllAboutCatsYT I emailed them regarding manufacturing and didn’t say anything regarding alibaba…
This is what they said: “Thank you for reaching out to us at Smarty Pear! We have our products manufactured in China as is all of automatic litter boxes out there. Our team and warehouses are all located in the United States, mostly California. We have all the parts for any replacements here in our warehouses and all parts are covered under 1 or 3 year warranties. The parts if needed, are shipped from California.”
That being said… I would not feel comfortable buying a litter box for 700 + when you can purchase an identical one on Alibaba for a little over $150… with risks of course… back to square one

hey! could you make a video about cat subscription boxes? ive been wanting to try one out but wanna make sure i'm getting the right one. thanks!! :)
👍🙌🏼
My cat refuses to use pine litter
@@ChibiGrl My newest boy was the same. I have extra trays since I use sifting litter boxes. I had him on 100% pine in 3 days just by sprinkling his regular clumping litter on top of the pine. All he saw was the illusion of clumping litter with less clumping litter each day. My first baby girl oddly took to it on day one.
would this be good for more than one cat? i have two
Can you do a review of the Choubox vs Litter Robot 4 ? Please 🙏
Hallo frens!
Hey Chum!!
@@AllAboutCatsYT Ello :)
Congrats on the book!
Thank you!
Crazy how many people don’t clean out their auto vacuums. It even says too in most of all vacuums. That’s not just dumping when full.
