whats your take on studying/analysing blockfish or bots in general? i personally find that bot choices are very difficult to understand / learn from but some people think its useful

IMO watching blockfish is almost exclusively useful to people who are beyond the "versus usefulness" level in slow cheese (so in the video, sub 250), and especially if you are nearing sub 200. My opinion might be skewed because blockfish was developed right around the time I was at that level, and shortly after I had a big pb lol
As for versus bots, I think it's mainly useful for extracting combo puzzles from footage (see circu's ds guide video for what I mean).
In general though, with the wealth of top player footage we have (there are like 50 sub 200 qepsi runs, also cheese leaderboards, tournament vods, etc.), I would usually recommend watching top players over bots. Thanks for the question!

I grind 10 lines cheese for fun and while doing something else like listening to this. 100 lines cheese is too boring
