When they did this with Cher in 1975, believe it or not, it was even better. This here was '74 and it had just come out and was wildly popular. The Jackson 5 were compared to The Osmonds when they both began getting popular. It was like Pop meets Soul. The Osmonds were great singers and had good music with Donny as front guy. Still, it was obvious there was no contest. Song after song, new dancing routines with Michael as front man, they could do no wrong. They were the superstars of their time and the absolute performers that no one could touch. RIP Michael...gone from us way too soon.
