Like your song ideas…I just bought the MK1…wasn’t quite ready for the MK2…I’ve really been getting into delays lately…it definitely takes a different finesse to play with these longer delay times…choice of notes and feel is a must Cheers🤜🏻
Thought some of the self-osc on the new one sounded a little crispy. Was it clipping the interface or something? I thought the oscillation in the glitch mode was pretty amazing. And the harmony mode with different inversions was very cool.
I did briefly but it’s not a sound I use so I don’t recall the differences if any. I plan on doing another video with just comparisons. I’ll make sure to compare those.
Hi, Just saw this comment. Don't know why I didn't see it before. This is an interesting idea. I'll look into plugins that would help analyze the signals from both pedals. I know from years of using the dl4 that some Algorithms drop the signal by at least 6db and the guitar always sounds thinner and dirty. My guess is A)The ADDA converters and B) Some of the analog components.
@@rameshperalil5217 that depends on the genre of music and how you perceive professional. I wouldn’t use it to sing at a stadium when I have a sound man. But for studio use it’s great.
They sound different. The original has more grit/signal loss. The mkii retains the guitar signal, has less grit but I think for live application I'll use the mkii for the convince and size.
@@preciseaudioblog it eventually won't be feasible to get the mk I. The mkiis power and durability alone sells it for me, as the old ones were too flimsy and their power demands were odd compared to most pedals. According to this video, they don't have the signal loss of the old pedals either, which is a huge upgrade. I'd say get the mkii
I think Line 6 created a winner here...What do you think?

So true about finesse and choosing notes. One bad note and it’s repeated lol. Thanks for stopping by!
It would be great a LCD with time in ms.

It could’ve been clipping the Strymon iridium or the interface. I honestly wasn’t paying attention.
Here's another vote for the FM4 MkII, please???
Absolutely missing a trick that they haven’t done an FM4 mk2 🤷🏻♂️
Thank you
To your ears, is there a difference of the MKii old sounds with the MKi??
did you do any comparisons between the Auto Volume between the mki and mkii?

@@RPMusicStudios ok awesome!
Since you have all this pro gear- do you have som ekind of meters you can test the "tone" of the new one vs the old? The old one noticeably sucks tone

Does anyone know if this Line 6 DL4 Mark 2 can be used for singing?
Yes! It has a microphone input. I use it all the time!
Really working like same professional singing

The sweep echo on the MKII seemed way smoother
Yes! It’s not as harsh and it doesn’t thin out the original guitar tone.
The new one being in the FX loop though is pretty sweet. It really fucking sucks you can’t do that with the original.
I’ve always preferred the original before my amp and distortion because of the volume drop and tone suck.
Does the mkii have a latching mode?
I’m not sure what you mean by latching mode. Do you mean like a freeze function?
It sucks that the new model doesn’t have the battery option
It would be cool if all pedals came with rechargeable batteries. The mkii uses more than 2x the power of the original.
Pro video.
Answer: Yes.

Also the mkii sounds closer to the original more than any of line 6's other offerings.
Would take the Mkii over the Mki?
@@preciseaudioblog As a guitar player that uses a boss es-8 and midi to recall presets I choose the mkii.

Amigo.. este pedal no es para vos.. tocás horrible..!
Thanks. Appreciate your input. However my intention is not to show off my abilities but rather show the pedals sound.
@@bombzproductions9595 ok, but for that it is essential that the refs are in sync with the delay times, otherwise nothing is appreciated. Cheers
