You don't need to do both. Some kindles can only do one - depends on which country you purchase your kindle from.

can you make a video without using the kindle app? the app is not available in my region. I got my kindle as a gift for my birthday but now i have no idea how to send books in kindle format to it. i know how to send pdf books but i cant highlight the text or change the size and font.

The easiest is through the app tbh but it won’t be in kindle format

1:19 this page doesn’t appear to me , it just moves me to the kindle app and open the book, I’ve spent days trying to solve this problem and I didn’t find anything please help :(
It’s been removed now. The only way to do it is transfer the pdf to the app and it will pop up in your kindle

Does this work with older generations? I am thinking of buying my very first used kindle which are around 30-40$ for the older generations because I want to try it before buying a brand new and see if I would like it and use it but I do have a ton of exam books in PDFs that I’d like add to the kindle.

i just bought a 10th gen kindle and I can't find a way to upload Ebooks and PDF. even when I try to send my files to the email, the library in the kindle device, doesn't update with the files i sent. I'm really giving up on this :/

Hi!! How can i make sure the formatting in the pdf file is kept through the conversion? I’ve managed to do it all following your very helpful video but unfortunately i can’t find a way to keep the font size, spacing and indentations once it’s reached the kindle :’( please reach back to me soon, it’s very frustrating!!! thank you!!

Hello. I tried sending the pdf thru email. Pdf format in kindle cannot change the font size, tried using epub format but there are letters that have been cut off like, financially will become nancially. Any word containing "fi" will show up as incomplete word. Can u help me with this? Fonts in pdf format is too small

Steps don't always work well for getting a text-searchable file. Trying to send a text searchable pdf cookbook to Kindle app on iphone. Sharing the file provides an annoying landscape only version, not text searchable (highlights entire pages, not any specific text). Emailing provides a more readable file in portrait format, but still not text searchable. Text searching is the main reason I like to get my cookbooks on Kindle. And the Kindle app on iphone doesn't permit copying the send to Kindle email address in settings. Very annoying.

Why do you guys send via email when you can just drop pdf via type c in the documents folder? We dont even need convert, kindle supports pdfs
