I was up on the Nessus plateu trying to learn to sparrow fly and a guy that was helping me sent me your video. When I tabbed back in-game, I looked up and saw you doing some crazy sh*t. What are the odds? I found the on-screen keystrokes very helpful. None of the other videos I saw had that.
Not sure what you mean by this but I think your just talking about open vs closed slipstreaming. If you go strait into a slipstream while holding A S your sparrow will be more closed in a barrel roll. This works but will get you lots of speed and less distance. The counter to this is to do more open slipstream by doing a S spin first and then do an AS spin. If you watch closely in the video you'll see when I start spinning I hold shift and s for a short time before holding a aswell. This will result in a more open slipstream that will get you more height but less speed. I hope this answers your question. At the time of this video I didn't really know this so I didn't include and open/closed slipstream. I wish I would've tho
Thanks! and ya for sure. Just aiming to show the general idea though. I use a whole ton of different speeds/axis depending on what I'm doing. Recently been learning how to unlimited slipstream which is such a weird rotation.
Honestly this is a hard question. It's just something that you personally have to mess around with and figure out. It all depends on how fast you slipstream and the timing may be different for you then it is for me. I tend to jump off right as the left side of my sparrow comes up. I don't even think about it though. It's just muscle memory. Also you don't have to flick your camera angle to the right either like I do. It's just something I do because it makes it more consistent for me.
thx a lot i now can sparrow fly into a slipstream. took another few hours but figured out the slip flick now as well next imma try get the slip flick for height. but anyways this guide was very useful
would love to see controller inputs! I know sparrow flying and launching which I use for Prophecy and other off uses. I need to learn slipstreaming and infinite slipstreaming
This is very nice. Have you ever tried setting up a macro to use a 1 button method, or is that even possible? Is the circle on the mouse just where you are moving it?
Hey man I’m trying to do this on controller trying to understand how you do the flick are you jumping off and dodging your sparrow or can you just jump off and it flings you into the air.
Probably not tbh, you would have to practice A LOT. Not even the best people can hit it everytime. I hit them maybe 50% of the time. It's totally possible but I would say 8/10 is a more reasonable goal.
A bit late. I can sparrow fly and do all the basic stuff, but slipstreaming and anything above is super difficult for me. I on average get 40-50 fps, and I think that may effect the difficulty. Am I just ass? Or does it genuinely make it more difficult
Lower fps actually makes it easier due to the lower gravity, but in general those tricks can take like double digit hours worth of practice to get down, and much longer to perfect
i can do everything else from this video except reverse slip and ground pinch :3 Edit: and now i can reverse slip kinda well, i got the hang of it pretty fast. Edit 2: i finally landed my first ground pinch
Nice! Reverse slipping with an AW spin is actually pretty easy. Now try an AS spin with D dodges 😏. Didn't include it in the video sadly because at the time I hadn't learned it. If you want a key strokes clip tho just hmu on discord Mitchdogz#1999
@@Mitchdogz hey, i started practicing reverse slipping with the AS spin with D dodges, because i didnt know there is any other way to do it. ruclips.net/video/uWxL1DR8pyY/видео.html can you please watch this video and tell me am i doing it right? @@Mitchdogz wait you can climb there? i never thought that was possible but ur way more advanced than me so edit: also do you need to be on that strike to climb there?
This is a fantastic video. I’ve been sparrow flying since season of the arrivals and there are a bunch of things in here I didn’t even know existed
I like how we can see people just doing sparrow trick up there like it’s skatepark lol

@@stellanFPS Look up "EXTREMELY FLAT NESSUS AREA!! Wall Climb Walkthrough!!" by "I Icarus Dash" It's not too hard if you take your time.
Very poggers sparrowing
Most cracked sparrow control ive seen so far 👀, how do you get the sparrow leaning backwards while slipstreaming?

@@AsicEdits Awesome!
Reminds me of rocket league and learning air roll
Nice Video! Technically you can slow down your slipstream rotation to be more efficient but other than that its very well done

@@Mitchdogz nah you'll be fine for open slipstreaming. Just flatten out and it's ez
Sry,one question about slip flick from ground, what time should I get off the sparrow to accelerate?

How do you slipflick so perfectly? I've been trying and i can't get it to work consistently

How do you go from flying into slipstreaming in the last one?
Just turn and start slipstreaming 🤷♂️ 1:14
its harder :( il go try it
How do u get there
There's a bunch of different ways but if you don't know sparrow stuff you can just climb up there from underneath
Where is the tornado fly?
That's like the only thing I don't know how to do lmao. Gonna learn it soon tho
Good way to gain alot of height on a fly

well hes losing height, and crashes at the end, so not exactly infinite
