You know how many times I have been stopped with sht on me, or being messed up in public, and I have zero criminal record because I was just honest, respectful, and handed over my sht. Treat cops like people and, unless you got 3 pounds of meth or a body in the trunk, things will typically go a lot easier than you might think.
I despise the sort of people who treat their disabilities like some kind of VIP pass to be a garbage person. I honestly have a hard time even believing that someone is disabled when they talk about it like this. When my anxiety acts up in public, I don't _just_ feel embarrassed about it, I also feel utterly pathetic when I'm forced to explain the reason to somebody who will inevitably treat it like a weak & childish excuse. This girl and everyone like her only fuel that attitude...
I suffer from generational trauma too. I had a Neanderthal ancestor who got kicked out of his cave. Oh the indignity!
He’s a cop not a therapist. What’s professional for him isn’t the same for hr. Same for being nice. He probably smells alcohol so he’s being professional by not letting her kill people. He isn’t screaming or being overly aggressive.
There’s no excuse for drunk driving no matter what

I doubt she's half of what she claims to be. Also, social anxiety and drunk driving has nothing to do eachother... My anxiety never made it seem like an idea
Field sobriety tests are not designed to have you fail. I was pulled out of my vehicle on suspicion of DUI. Passed the field sobriety test and a breathalyzer. Blew all zeros. Went on my way.
Why would they bother giving you a breathalyzer if you "passed" the field sobriety test? I've heard police say in videos like this numerous times field sobriety tests are not pass or fail.
@blegend9351
I'd assume they aren't pass or fail either. I would guess they're just tools to help the cop determine if you are actually under the influence.
I'll never forget that cop's disappointment when I passed everything. He sure was hoping to nab a DUI bust.
Right but some people may mess up on the field sobriety tests just on accident. Depending on how vindictive the cop is even the slightest mistake he could consider as just cause for arrest
You're right, they aren't "designed to make you fail." They aren't even pass/fail. They are just a tool the officer uses in conjunction with other evidence and observations to make a determination.
@@blegend9351 I'm wondering the opposite. Why do Americans insist on doing these circus tricks when in the rest of the world, you can just blow from your seat in a little breathalyzer and be done with it. Those things are much more reliable than field sobriety tests anyway.

I would IMMEDIATELY fail that first test without my glasses, I have a lazy eye and anything that far away would be really hard for me to see without glasses

3:19 What should he have done instead to be "professional and nice"? He smelled the alcohol, he was cordial and in control while building evidence, and he took her off the road without escalating. She could have killed someone. Such weird potshots at the cop doing his job.
The only issue I have with the sentiment of the reactions are that you should EVER do field sobriety tests. Give me a blood and breath test and let me be, I'm not hopping on one foot while holding a carrot in my butt just for fun.
I've watched enough of these police interactions to know the FSTs are BS and unnecessary. They need to just do the breathalyzer and be done with it. Those tests are more so about dominating the suspect and their own entertainment. She's a POS for drinks and driving but the cop was kinda douchey

He has every right to ask her to step out if he thinks she's intoxicated. That's how it works when conducting an investigation. He was the upmost of professional.
This is still no excuse! It's dangerous to drunk drive and she can get in a very severe car accident! 😠🤦🏾♀️

I identify as "GENERATIONAL TRAUMA" and I have no business with this Lady......
As a person who also struggles from every form of anxiety. I do not claim her. None of us do.
I actually remember one night i came home driving from Applebee's after a few drinks (2 beers) . I was totally in control, totally fine. I had a brand new car and with the LEDs so bright i thought i had my lights on. I did not, so i got pulled over for that. The cop said he smelled beer after i told him i came from Applebee's and i immediately said yea i had a couple. He made me do a few tests. I was so nervous ( i told him that) i was shaking and failed the toe to toe test, but passed the others. Cop immediately knew i was fine after the eye test and a simple conversation he was great. I get when anxiety can affect speech and movement. But its usually stuttered spech and shakiness, not slurred and uncoordinated. The cop also told me straight up he wanted to do the tests. Everything worked out fine, but this woman is just digging for excuses i swear
My anxiety used to be so bad I would puke almost every day. I have never driven drunk. It's not an excuse to drink and drive
As a human, we don't claim her
It's not the cops job to be friendly, it's his job to make sure laws are being followed. Also, people can "identify" as whatever they want, but when they try to force others to agree and participate in their delusions, that's a big problem. I wish adults these days would act like adults and not be so weak minded, child like, and annoying.
Any "identity" that can only be validated through controlling others' usage of language, is quite frankly not a valid identity at all. "You need to affirm me!" Do I? No, I don't think I do, random stranger. Kick rocks and get lost.
Does being in the LGBTQ+ community affect your life at all? If not, shut up and stop disrespecting people. If yes, please tell me how people you don't even know being in the LGBTQ+ community affects you.
She collected all of the Tiktok illness cards.
anxiety is anxiety law is law just because you have social anxiety doesn't matter you still have to follow the law they are both 2 different things
I have social anxiety and even if I didn’t take medication that prevented me from drinking I still wouldn’t drink and drive
It's because of people like this that I feel uncomfortable asking for and accepting help for coping with my autism. I work in a stressful job, and they have been great with accommodating me. Still, I can't help but feel like a burden whenever I get overwhelmed, shut down and have to take a few minutes out to straighten myself out.
If there's any issue this clown has, it's entitlement. Probably why they were driving drunk in the first place.
For me, you said, "So, you have social anxiety, generation trauma, and (NFL RUclips Sunday tickets)" 😂😂😂
Damnit I can’t have no mental illness without someone ruining it and making me look bad for having it 🙄
02:22 Driving tests need to be continuous, every 5 years or so. EVERYONE, including elderly. If they fail they fail and shouldn’t be on the road.
What did she expect? That she says shes nonbinary and the cop is like ah ok youre good to go then?
“YOU KILLED 5 CHILDREN AND STUFFED THEM INTO CHUCK-E-CHEESE ANIMATRONICS!!!”
*Me, about to tell the judge I’m non-binary: 😏*
I also have social anxiety that has only been helped thru medication and this is not what it looks like.
People like this woman really piss me off. A couple of years ago here in Las Vegas. We had a woman who was drunk and drove the wrong way and ended up killing 2 people. There is no excuse for people driving drunk. There are too many options now like rideshare. I even had a friend one night who asked the cop to take her home because she had been drinking and didn't have anyone with her. The cop drove her home. That cop was really patient with her once. She started with all the excuses, so you have to give him some credit for that.
“Any physical injuries?”
“Mentally yeah”

I got pulled over for swerving once, but not becuase influence, there was a tornado watch and the wind was pracitally trying to blow me over.
The officer was like "Where are your glasses?" I said in two seconds flat I was wearing contacts.
He shined a light saying "I don't see contacts" I said "Obviously, contacts are see through" I drove off with a 'warning'
I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Social media is to blame for this. She's the product of being perpetually online and being addicted to social media.
the sad truth, social media really does make people crazy
I watch too many bodycam videos as a guilty pleasure and I'm telling you that it's not surprising how entitled drunk people get. It's insane. They always make dumb excuses to avoid getting a OWI and they make it worse for themselves 99.9% of the time.
We need more vids like this especially with your background its very entertaining and informative
there's never an excuse for DUI. i'm an autistic bi woman with anxiety and would never think of using those things as an excuse.. how dumb. it can be incredibly difficult to deal with police as a mentally ill or neurodivergent person - i honestly think we should be taught how to behave when being pulled over during driver's ed based on how some people act in these bodycams - but i don't have any pity for this person when they're doing something so potentially dangerous to innocent others on the road.
I don’t disagree with you on the cop being not genuine but I also think that he immediately noticed the glassy eyes and was already under the impression she was intoxicated. I also think it was super late at night and it might be his end of shift time and he’s tired. I’m not sure I’m just trying to say that he was pretty professional throughout this, even if he wasn’t the most respectful dude.
Still people haven't grasp the concept that if you want people to accept what you are saying in regards to your medical conditions, gender, whatever without question, then you have to accept others at their word as well. I know what comes up is "well, they are being genuine, they could be lying!" and this is exactly the point, anyone could be lying or not being genuine.
As someone who has anxiety, we sadly will not be taking her, but I will give an offer to the PTSD community.
And this is why many parents I know think people will use mental health and conditions as an excuse, and it’s baffling. Anxiety, depression, and so much more is not an excuse that will get you out of arrest. 😬
3:19 love how august is showing off his knowledge in law, we love a man of knowledge lmao 🙏🏾
I have social anxiety so her using it as an excuse for drunk driving makes my blood boil!!!
Your social anxiety didn't inhibit you from going out in public and socially drinking.
The song on the end card is a bop. I miss the cute waddling duck. Will there be a new duck animation dancing to the song?
The funny part is that they use the moving your hand thing in eye tests I have a huge problem with doing it without my glasses
Ive recently watched a few of these videos, a lot of peoples reactions are to say no as the first response to whatever the police ask, without listening to it. The other seems to be to keep asking why they were stopped, regardless of how many times they are told. I wouldn't have the patience to put up with it
Social anxiety is a reason for not having many friends or going out much, not this. Hope all yall that have it too keep working to make connections with people, it's important. Don't isolate yourselves!
I didn't realize that when you moved to a new place you have to learn what side of the road you're going to be driving on...🤔
I just can't believe we share the road with people like this
I recently cut someone out of my life completely because they did this every time they were called out for anything. “Wow how dare you confront me about this, I am x, y, z traumatized and disabled and queer and yadda yadda yadda”
And yet. I am also all of those things. Do those things have an effect responses to stressful situations? Sure. Is it anyone else’s job to navigate that shit for me / sugarcoat everything so I am not upset even though I did something wrong or hurtful? No.
You do something wrong, you get called out. You can dig in your heels and bitch or you can grow and change. Mental illness is never an excuse unless you are at a level that disconnects you entirely from reality like psychosis. Not just disconnected from reality because you’re a narcissist who thinks they can get away with shit lmfao

While I agree that the police officer is not being “nice” here, I still think he is very professional. He treated her with proper respect.
I was genuinely shocked though when he asked about how to refer to her thats very out of character for american police
Yeah I don’t think he’s being “nice”, I think he’s being a good police officer.
I don’t think she deserves him being nice, she was risking the lives of other people and children
Yeah that was a bold claim he made, especially when he said most nice police officers have a secret agenda, which is just silly. Everyone is entitled to their opinion no matter how bad they are. No, but for real though, I agree with you 100%. I understand that being different in any way, let alone many, can be extremely difficult and I personally know just how hard going through mental illness is. On the other hand, doing what this person is doing is disgusting behavior and sadly it contributes to what stigma is already present.
Certain illnesses, disabilities, or traits/features/etc that make one part of a protected group can of course be reasons for certain things, but they're not excuses for bad behavior just like having NPD/APD and lacking empathy do not mean it is understandable to commit assault and murder. I wish people wouldn't try to use mental health as an excuse for being a bad human. Mental health issues do not make you a bad person, people like this person add to the stigma that hurts people with mental health issues.
Edit- My point is that mental health should be taken seriously, people really do need help and there is nothing wrong with that. The problem is that some people, just like with every issue, try to play the system and it always hurts the cause.
If their 'issues' make them drink & drive, the DMV should rescind their license due to medical reasons.

The nerve to be a drunk driver and that insufferable. The cop was infinitely more respectful than I could have been in this situation. Kudos to him.
Anyone who *actually* has social anxiety wouldn’t be whining about having social anxiety 💀
Like my only guess would be maybe they’d point it out and that’s it.
Literally we wouldn’t even be caught doing something wrong because of the anxiety surrounding the consequences. Like i won’t even go a little bit over the speed limit because im so anxious about getting pulled over. If this person really has social anxiety, they wouldn’t even be in this scenario
fr like what
I'd just burst into tears, apologise and pay whatever, I'm a big baby lol😭
Exactly I’d be so anxious in a situation like this I’d barely be able to talk
as an indigenous individual with severe anxiety disorders, this is giving me second hand embarrassment
Would you say it’s so embarrassing that it gives you more… anxiety? Ha Because they definitely made me anxious too. Ha
Drunk drivers are scumbags and I feel no sympathy especially for the ones that kill others in their recklessness. I won’t forget what happened to that woman who got killed this year by such a pos on the day of her wedding!
Yep. IDK why he's critical of the cop. There's a million valid reasons. He chose the one where the cop was perfect. They acted like they knew what was going on because they did. It's very obvious
not sure if its the same one I dont think so since I dont think the man was drunk but it reminded me of a woman like many years ago, maybe even 10 who was riding her bike and was killed a couple days before her wedding. it happens a lot and its super, super sad. I do feel bad for the driver too if I remember correctly it was all just a complete accident, but its something that would live with them forever. They didnt get jail time since, it was shown the driver wasnt at fault, the woman wasnt either but I dont remember what exactly happened
@KNR90 he wasn't really criticizing him so much as pointing out that he's a savvy cop. He knows how to trick a person into complying and that can be dangerous if he decides to use it for scummy reasons.
I had a very good friend whose twin brother, sister in-law, and unborn niece were killed by a drunk truck driver. He wound up dropping out due to severe depression.
@kjaxthegrate but criticizing someone for potentially having the ability to do bad things is very unfair, you could criticize every good person with any power for the same reason
Imagine driving drunk and complaining about being pulled over
Lol
Don't call me ma'am it hurt my feelings lol
What pisses me off about people like this is they're the reason stuff like social anxiety or introversion is typically made fun of. My social anxiety isn't as bad nowadays as it was when I was a teen, but I'm still mocked by coworkers for preferring to be by myself. Whenever I so much as mention the word "anxiety" to someone, they just look at me like I just spoke an alien language, ESPECIALLY because I'm a guy, and by this society's standards "men can't have mental health issues". I just hate how because of people who exaggerate mental health issues on Tiktok, or because of people who use it as an excuse for the dumbest shit, people who genuinely suffer from those things aren't taken seriously.
In high school, I used to have such bad social anxiety that I talked with the principal of the school, and I was allowed to sit out in the empty side-hallway near the IT room. The deal was I had to be in the class to listen to lectures, but if we were just doing paperwork or videos I could be out in the hallway by myself. And guess what... Someone faking anxiety came into my hallway one day claiming they were having an "anxiety attack" and lo and behold, 15 minutes later, a whole group of her friends were in there talking loudly and joking and moving around to the point the IT lady (the only other person near that hallway) had to kick them out. Side note: I miss that IT lady. She left me alone for the most part but would still check on me and chat with me a little on my better days. She also kicked everyone else out that tried to join me in the hallway, unless I told her it was okay. I gave her a couple gifts before I graduated.
I completely agree, and am really glad you’re doing better now! I’ve not only dealt with bad anxiety on and off for most of my life, but I’m also Indigenous and have only mentioned it to cops when specifically asked (I have a pretty clearly Native name, so when they see my ID it’s definitely come up) and luckily it’s usually just out of curiosity on their part. If they’re so aware of the dangers and discrimination we can face with some cops, why would they flaunt it for no damn reason? Like you said, it just diminishes the seriousness of everything.
How the hell do read all of that Jesus Christ

As someone who's still a teen and deal with introversion and social anxiety, I was always mocked by my parents because a boy wasn't allowed to be 'scared'. I think the main reason I like this is because covid quarantine made me stay home more so I rarely interacted with anyone for almost 2 years, which I think one of the main reasons why my social anxiety got worse. As of now, it has toned down a lot compared to 3 years ago, and now I give start conversations without stuttering, mainly because one of my childhood friends helped out with my social anxiety (she's the best)
As a person with social anxiety we don't claim her
Edit: Can we make common sense common again you all? 💀
Edit 2: Since a smartass critized my grammar I changed yall to you all 🤓

She should Keep Herself Safe
Ooooo look at me I have social anxiety- shut up💀
As another representative of the social anxiety group, I second this.
*_close the anxiety gates_*
She’s playing the victim card like a narcissist

As someone, this makes me feel less like someone.
I haven’t watched the video yet but I’m drunk to cope with social anxiety myself rn, and like, it’s still such common sense to NOT drive? It’s literally so easy to not get a DUI. You don’t have to do anything to not drunk drive except literally just sit there
Finalllllyyyyyyy somebody who recognizes that the cop spiel is BS and not friendly….. huge dub

It kinda reminds me of that one South Park episode lmao. “I HAVE SOCIAL ANXIETY! I have trouble coming out of my shell KyLe”
It amazes me how people are so entitled that they use their problems and disorders like social anxiety to think they can escape punishment. This pisses me off so much. I know people go through things and anxiety is NO joke I have been there PLENTY of times (I hope this lady gets the love and support she needs) but, it's not a good look using it to escape punishment tbh. The law will stay the same no matter what state of mental health you're in. If you break the law own up to it.
Exactly. It would be like a criminal excusing their actions on having emotional issues.
Obviously it didn't work for her, so what are you so upset about?
That's probably because they're terminally online, and screeching "ableism" has worked to their benefit on the internet.
@@WobblesandBean In what corner of the internet would "screeching ablism" gain a person a tangible benefit? Free Amazon Prime? Discount on Hulu? Karma points on Reddit?
This person is gaining nothing by claiming to have social anxiety. They never have and they never will. Even if true, they get nothing.
This is a drunk driver scared to face the consequences for their actions. They still had to face the consequences. Nothing is different for them than it would be for you. They still got the charge, the arrest, the court date. Their feeble attempt to get away with it was no different than millions of other people making excuses for their drunk driving.
Because it’s worked for them so far.. the world has gone soft. But thank god it looks like the days of people being able to use their “identity” as a ready made shield against criticism/accountability are fading fast. That shit got old fast.
“Well I’m nonbinary so..”
tf that gotta do with drunk driving? 💀
Like trans, they fancy themselves a sacred cow group. In the words of a Family Guy bit: "Oh, you're trans? Well in that case, do whatever you want, constantly."
That makes them immune to the affects of alcohol.
No, he referred to them as "Miss" and they were non-binary so they just corrected the officer, no bad intentions on either side :)
