I passed a 9mm stone on 8th morning. Everyday I drank about 2-3 litres of water, organic berry juice (not the bottled stuff in the market), prostate pills, walked no less than 5 kilometres, kept a hot water bag (really hot 🔥) on my kidney about 2-3 hours. 🙂🙏 Good luck to everyone.
What has become of a 6mm that never passed? The ER which imaged it offered no information other than it was by then in the bladder. Incidentally, to say this was the worst pain in my life is a gross understatement. It's far worse than that sounds.
Hello Doc my stonogram says; A 1.2 x 0.6 c 0.6cm (HU=800) dense stone is noted in the distal abdominal segment of the ureter, S2 level. What is the conversion in mm of this stone Doc? Can this be treated naturally or need already surgery ? Thanks for your response, God Blessed You🙏🙏🙏
How is it possible to pass that large of stones. My doc said anything 5mm and up likely wouldn't pass naturally. Sounds horrible what you went through.
I recently passed a 3x5mm stone from my right kidney. It was quite painful, 3rd worst I've ever felt. The CT found a 7mm in my left, not looking forward to that one. Doing everything I can to dissolve it before it decides to go
Somewhere around August 1, I started having blood in the urine. Apparently, somewhere along the way I passed the stone. I believe this particular stone had a lot of spines. I was given a few pain pills to help manage until I saw my urologist. I believe I still have spines stuck Along the tract and in my urethra. My blood pressure is up, I am dizzy, my side still hurts, the CT said I still have a 4 mm and a 5 mm stone that have not passed yet. One on each side. You should mention the need for controlling pain or possible ways to do it. My urologist, PA, said because no stone showed it was blocking anything at the moment, there was no reason for any additional pain pills. I am still ready to scream every time I pee. I can’t afford to take a week off of work and be in the hospital.
I do not understand why to do such highly sophisticated, complicated ( and expensive) laser surgery if there is no a faithful way to make resulted smaller broken stones pass through : it only breaks stones in smaller pieces but the retrieval and passage of stones is still a passive process and a small stone may passes out or still stays behind inside a kidney. :( If they stay behind, they will become centers of growth of new multiple stones :( Is there a way to make stones pass through for sure, to have a more controled process? (not sure if I've made myself clear)

we have a basket we can use during surgery to remove it after we bust it up into little pieces.
I thought puking was bad, I had several kidney stones on my 20th birthday.
