Crazy there’s something with more torque out there than the Milwaukee 2904. Very impressive by Dewalt. They came out swinging with the new XR hammer drill and impact driver.
The only way they can beat milwaukee is by bigger motors . Just like the impact wrench. Dewalt cant beat mileaukee so they disguised the 3/4" impact wrench which is so huge and put a 1/2" anvil on it. just to be the strongest 1/2"impact wrench on the market.
The thing i love bout the dewalt is the 3 speed gearbox. Speed 2 out of 3 is my most common gear being a steel worker. And when i want something smaller thats when the dcd800 comes in so idc bout the size
@@bossmanz28 that was going to be my point really. The 800 or the 805 I would much rather use all day. I dont need all the power in the world most of the time.
What's good Kaleb? Caleb here 😎 I like these peak torque tests, nice to know which one will get the really hard jobs done 👍 Curious, have you ever tested the Flex in turbo mode?
I hear that turbo mode cuts out pretty soon after a short time with hard use; is it only speed 2 that can go into turbo, or speed 1 also? @@Kaleb_RoSs
Kudos to DeWalt! But I think a lot of people are missing the mark. The M18 has almost as much torque as a much larger drill. So in this situation, in my opinion Milwaukee wins for best in class drill..
Maybe, maybe not. You also have to take heat into consideration. A larger drill with more mass will take longer to get hot, therefore longer to overheat in heavy use situations.
The Milwaukee impact seems to have more torque and drive a lag faster than a Dewalt but haven’t raced a drill. I definitely would have guessed Milwaukee had more torque. Mine heats up like a mother too
This drill wasn’t designed to run a 5ah battery like the dcd998 it could very well hurt the performance of the drill I mean yes it would run the 5ah battery but with far less performance and it will take away from this drill
I prefer Milwaukee over other brands. That being said, every top brand has a much better aux handle than what Milwaukee offers with their hammer drills. That’s one downside to the Milwaukee.
GLAD you have the new MILWAUKEE M18 FORGE 8 AMP Battery I got the 12 Amp FORGE will get the 8 AMP FORGE in a KIT with the DUEL RAPID CHARGER or with the new 24 inch HEDGE Trimmer for next year's LAWN MAINTENANCE
