    OHTANI = baseball

  • @lexevo
    @lexevo Год назад +21

    Most people have no idea who was on the play offs 2, 3 or 5 years ago. I can’t even name the World Series winners in sequence from the last 5 years. And baseball is my favorite team sport. Everyone baseball fan knows who Shohei is and what’s he’s doing.

    • @t_mune
      @t_mune Год назад

      From a fan's perspective, I completely agree.
      But when talking about Ohtani, we need to look at things from both sides even more so.
      We as fans are still satisfied, but when we are in his shoes, we are not satisfied.

      Allow me to add: even non-baseball fans know who Shohei Ohtani is. :-)

      Well I can’t name them in sequence but if baseballs your favourite sport you should be able to.

      @@cantripleplays I was expecting this reply and well prepared for it. Having sports knowledge is the most useless thing a person could have. Unless it’s the manager or player that has a career out of it. Also, Sports book handicappers and if there is a women that’s into sports and it will help get her number would be the only other reasonable use for storing that information. No team cares about us or our problems, just my money as a fan. It’s a sport I enjoy more then others and that’s about it. I study military history, follow the Ukraine war closely. Hvac, electrical, CPO, refrigeration, central plant and plumbing takes up the rest of my brain. That makes and saves me money. In my opinion, is much more useful, important and interesting.

      @@lexevo bro, just from being around people and watching the games you should remember. Like do you not watch games?? It’s not much trivia to know the WS winners. I mean if you don’t keep up to date it makes sense.

    "Why would you let him be a free agent?" Because it has never been up to the Angels. Shohei's agent has long said they will test free agency no matter what. They want to see what the market is willing to offer. Remember this is unprecedented, I suppose since Babe Ruth, I don't think even Shohei's agent knows how much Shohei is worth.

      @@adrianacev7579 ur delusional my guy. just because they have won 8 of the last 10 games doesn't change the fact that they lost another game. the angels have had 54 wins and 50 losses. and sorry for the dumbass who can't grasp context, the blue jays are in playoff contention, while detriot, yankees, and the pirates(all bottom of their division btw good 8 wins out of 10)aren't. winning against them is good, sure, but they are going up against rangers, braves, astros, rays, philly, and giants, and reds(all playoff contending teams) in the next month. Them losing this game means a lot more than just a loss. the bluejays and the mariners are the easiest fixtures for them until sept. 1. angels losing today with giolito, shohei hitting a homerun, and having the bases loaded in the 7th, 2 runners on the 8th, and the bases loaded again in the 9th, while getting 0 runs in the process is disgusting. almost at the level of shitters. they did infact lose another game. in angels fashion

    Just wait a couple of days and the Angels will disappoint you. Now that they've lost the first two games of the Toronto series, it's back to the team that's unlikely to make the postseason. Ohtani can't do this by himself. The team is facing several tough teams over this next three weeks, and that will determine their fate. I follow the Angels and am not holding my breath for them to go through those several series with a winning record.
