- This is without doubt the fastest SUV I've ever tested! It's the 2023 Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT - it's like a swooping coupe looking SUV with a manic twin-turbocharged V8 engine crammed under the bonnet. Paul Maric takes it for a spin to see what it's like.

@Mr Sir yep, you give them a sample colour and they’ll match it and paint the car in it.
@Mr Sir as in choose a colour that is not part of the “standard colour options” offered by Porsche.

I have a 2017 Cayenne V8 Diesel. So not quite the go-kart but I love it. Best towing vehicle I've ever owned and always ready to jump to attention on command. More than adequate in the off track real world. The Petrol GT V8 looks and sounds awesome. Thanks for the vid.

Nice review Paul! Not a fan of that piano black on such expensive vehicles like these. I wonder if you'll do a review of the new Mazda CX-90 when you get your hands on it. I personally think it could be one the best cars to buy this year and the best part, no piano black!

Hi Paul, the rivals of this car is Urus and Aston DBX 707 i think, maybe the BMW X5 comp. but the X5 is heavier and a lot cheaper to compete with the Porsche.

Exhaust in the middle is a big yes. Bit like the gt3’s
Re: Exhaust: did you notice the car's representation on the infotainment's 360 view shows the exhaust differently from what it actually is, i.e. with quad exhausts, 2 at each corner (as it should be!)? For the price, they should have fixed this.
What was that pressure warning that came up on the back straight?
i would compare this car to the likes of Lamborghini ursus or the Aston martin DBX
Why there is a shift to torque converter? Instead of dsg??

Unfortunately it's been impossible to get enough track time to film a video at QR, so we've parked the format for the moment. If we switch tracks to a more accessible track it'll affect our comparative timing.

Also if they are going to make it a 4 seater why not have a proper rear centre console like in the panamera and you could have in the range rovers.

agree, money or not cant justify the cost for a car like this when most of the time you're stuck in a 60zone, still have a max speed limit to follow which is 1/3rd that cars speedo and most drives are less than 30mins avg. never makes sense
I guess if you have $20m+ in assets this is in your budget. If this is a car people can afford, imagine their properties. Incredible car though.

It's marketed as A SUB
It's built like a hatchback. The rear window is sloped too far forward to be useful AG's the ground clearance is too low.

You can't go wrong with a Porsche. This Cayenne truly is insane getting those numbers. Just need a 400 metre time. I think 110 km/h is more appropiate for sine waves. Where can you do 130 km/h except Stuart Hwy?

I'm broke as I've ever have but gladly I'm only four months away to get my lawyer's degree, I sincerely hope that sometime in the future I have enough disposable income to buy this car secondhand, or at least, visit Australia to check the roads and drive some of your Commodore cars.
I have a 2022 Mazda CX-30, an SUV but nothing compared to this beast. But I don't get the need of an SUV with this kind of performance? If you want this type of power, get a sports car.
*I'm also not a fan of that exhaust setup. It doesn't exactly look ideal for an SUV.*
