The funniest thing about this podcast is that we have 3 hosts with bad memory, two from old age and one from headbuts and drinking. So we get to hear the same stories 3-4 times 🤣🤣
I think that’s Micah had the shortest career yet always has the most talking time every single episode 😂 it’s his pod, Alan and Gary just fill in the gaps

There's another story about his first press conference after joining Leeds (I think it was Leeds anyway) and the first journo addressed his as Brian, to which he responded "it's Mr Clough to you". Then the second journo addressed him as Mr Clough, to which he replied, "please, call me Brian".
Live for this podcast. Always gutted when there isn’t one released. Cannot wait for the Gazza podcast!

I saw George Best live at St Andrews and Villa Park. He was so brilliant before the piss got him. I remember hearing that he was really a very shy man consumed by fame.

You answered your own question Gary. The reason why you met sponsors after the game when receiving man of the match is because they pick it when TV don’t! In fact, as a lower league fan, I’m pretty sure on the odd game that is televised the match sponsor still picks man of the match but the tv will aswell and present a separate award

Sir Alex was by far the saltiest, and least media friendly of the three. Gary wasn't rating them by ability but by personal connection - he played for Sir Bobby with England, knew Pep as a youngster at Barcelona, and was insulted and abused by Sir Alex over the years.

Footballers dont sacrifice anything they train for about 3 hours per day. Ridiculous that they complain so much, they've never had proper jobs.
How about using your platform to try help fix important football issues like Var and officials?, this season has been a car crash, the officiating has been the worst iv seen in my 40yrs of watching footy and is on the borderline of negligence! , it's completely ruining the integrity of the game. It's not just one team being affected; it's the entire league. Why is it is all hush hush in the mainstream media currently? Scared of losing your well paid jobs on tv i guess.
They go on about VAR on nearly every episode.
