I just bought a 2020 540i with a stock exhaust and was wondering what you would recommend to give a bit louder sound without doing a full exhaust? From what I read it seems like a catted downpipe might be the best option as a muffler delete removes the valves and a resonator delete adds drone. Is that true in your experience?
depends if you'll tune it. just a muffler delete made it sound amazing. downpipe is good too but the muffler is chambered and can cause an echo / not have a smooth sound. if you send us a message on Instagram I can send you sound clips.

The main thing is the car of course is very insulated so the sound is the main draw back, especially when downshifting you can barely hear it. Am thinking of doing a high flow cat at first and then maybe a resonator delete if it still isn't loud enough......then if all else fails adding on a Remus or Dinan axle back as a last resort...
I'm sure there are a bunch of vendors online that would sell a conversion kit for your vehicle, it would depend on your location and what is accessible. I know some places don't like to ship internationally let alone for a reasonable rate.

@@tony.nextlevelrides i checked forums Some people had thus issue from 0 kilometers. Never solved Bmw claimed its the suspension and the chassie they cant do anything. My tyres brand new i bought one set then i sold those as i thought its bad i bought another and its the same:// I think its The Kardan Or guibo at the front or driveshaft and mine is rear wheel drive so No Transfer case but it drives me crazy
I feel the vibration through the front and back, if it continues I'll have to look closer. I did read lots of people having vibration issues. hopefully it's not something big to repair.

There is a nice carbon diffuser which come too for like $900 usd get that man your rear of the car looks so bulky and aggressive after you put that diffuser

yup! 148k and it's been very reliable.
Music to my ears.. Recently got mine it's a 2017 with only 40k miles. Drives like a dream. Performance and luxury

the 540 is a much better car in my opinion. the interior alone sold me between the two.

mine vibrates from 115km/hr to about 135km/hr. I'm checking balance tomorrow.
if your tires are older could be flat spots, I think this is my problem.
