I love Luke and HauteLeMode on RUclips but I'll never understand why he hasn't been hired by one of the big magazines to create video content for their channels, to go to shows, give critiques of collections, make educational content. It's what the fashion viewers want 🤷🏻♀️
I watch Cassi Thorpe too, and based on her videos I'd say that in recent years/months with the lot of price increases I feel like the luxury brands try to make themselfs more exclusive again. So if they want to keep the top 20% of their customers it doesn't matter to this industry what the rest of us thinks about it.

He knows so much history, explains relevance of styles to each other, techniques, materials, gives context. I always learn something new. He is great. Makes high fashion accessible viewing. Thanks Luke.
I subscribed to Luke when he had around 5k subscribers on RUclips. He was still a student I think but he was so knowledgeable and well-informed about fashion and fashion history. Furthermore, he was always true to himself and didn’t hesitate to call out bad design when it was deserved. This type of integrity was refreshing and badly needed, although I was curious to see if he’d be accepted by the “gatekeepers”. I’m so happy to see him successful. Couldn’t deserve it more🙂 Oh and just in case Luke sees this: I miss your old intro music… bring it back!
I'm in my 50s and I watch Luke because he's very entertaining. He actually cares about fashion, which makes his channel stand out from the rest. I'm literally only watching this because I saw his picture and wanted to support him. Keep up the good work. 😊
All other fashion content creators on Tiktok and Instagram are not as knowledgeable and really only focus on if something is pretty and trendy and I really noticed how different Luke is from everyone else this year, though I’ve been subscribed to him for a couple years now. Everyone was criticizing Kim Kardashian’s sweater at the Met Gala and I also didn’t like the material or her look, but when I watched Luke’s video he actually explained how it fit in the theme and it made sense. I look forward to every award show and fashion event just for his reviews.
I've recently lost all my sceptism towards Luke's channel after seeing how well informed and all the researches that he does. The skeptism was from him coming from the RUclips background. Glad he's breaking barriers 💜
I don’t think there’s any comparable channel on RUclips to Haute Le Mode. Luke’s level of fashion knowledge and research brings everything. I’ll watch an event like the Met Gala live, but it’s really Luke’s content that makes it all make sense.

This was a fantastic clip. What I love about Luke’s channel is the analysis and historical references he includes in his video essays. He’s introducing new generations to fashion and fashion history but in a more cerebral way than what I’ve seen in the past. RUclips is very friendly to, and probably the best platform for, deep dives - not just on fashion but for any topic. The fact that RUclipsrs can make a living from the platform is great and important, too.

He's found the perfect borderline where his videos appeal to both audiences. I hope his viewership keeps growing and he continues enjoying what he does cuz we love him for all his time and efforts in the vids

She became dior favourite child it seems and now she's got her own brand. I wish they would have Luke do like behind the scenes for the met gala or if he could work with Emma Chamberlain and the two of them could do carpet interviews. I think Emma does a great job centering the participants and boosting their energy, Luke would do an amazing job adding the fashion history and stuff. Like if designers wanted to add little tidbits about their creations to Luke, I’m so confident he would be able to bridge the gap between the audience, the designers, the creations, and it’s story
