ADIDAS stock analysis (ADS) - Attractive at these prices?

- Today I will be analysing the company of Adidas, the sports and aparel company, which is down 56% in the last year and 65% since its all time highs. Is it a good buy at the moment? Before I go into the analysis, let me quickly give you an overview of the topics that I will be covering today. First, I will start with a general introduction to the business and we will be looking at several statistics that will help us understand it better, followed by a quick look at the competitors, then I will move into the financials in which we will compare the ones of Adidas with those of 2 other competitors, Nike and Under Armour, followed by the current stock price and valuation, and finally I will be giving my personal opinion on the company and my future plans with it.

In a saturated market, the only way forward to grow and make profit is via few smart acquisitions like how Coca Cola and Pepsi have done in their respective businesses. Yes Reebok was a bad one but Adidas can certainly look for some other for instance Sketches / Crocs etc. Just my opinion though :)

Under Armour is pretty much in the toilet 🚽. Their stock has tumbled to a ridiculous low. Their profits are sluggish, and their earnings are consistently lower than expected. What's worse is that their brand now has a distinct smell of "not cool".
