    Another tip: Zanzibar is a big Muslim community, so just check what you wear in town, respect their beliefs and don't walk around in town with your bikinis.

    Hi! Travel health doctor here. Yellow fever is only required for travelers from endemic countries (i.e., Kenya). Those arriving from non endemic regions are not required to produce proof of vaccination. As for the duration of the protection, it is now considered a lifelong immunization, not just valid for 10 years. Cheers!

    In the video you say don't withdraw too much cash but if you swip you spend more because 1. Charged in USD+5% resturant fee for swipping +1-3% SA bank exchange rate fee per transaction. Wouldn't it be better to pay in Shillings are rand to shillings exchange is 1:0,00767 so getting more value for money?

      Hello explorer. It all depends on where you are going to stay. If you are only gonna eat at local restaurants then withdraw enough for that. All the food was included at our hotel. Some places you only have the option to in USD.

      Hi Soraya. No we didn't go for diving but we went for snorkeling on the Blue Safari Tour. And it was beautiful! So I think the diving will be breathtaking in Zanzibar. I would suggest to go to Sun Tours at the Hotel and check out their day trips. We did the Blue Safari, Spice tour and Stone Town Tour and went to the Baraka Aquarium and swam with 30 sea turtles and it was absolutely an amazing experience. Al three tours were fantastic. Depending what you are interested in. Enjoy your holiday.

    what about budget for tow weeks??

    • @twoticketstoanywhere
      @twoticketstoanywhere  2 года назад

      Hello explorer. It would be difficult to give a budget for two weeks as we only stayed nine nights. the price would also depend on where you are planning to stay. if you are looking at staying in RIU Jambo here is a link to their website they give prices on there. www.riu.com/en/hotel/tanzania/zanzibar/hotel-riu-jambo/

    all 6 times I have been to zanzibar bar I did not have yellow fever jab as I was on other medications and the travel sister just wrote a letter.
    she said I will be sick if she does jab me. this was before 2016 after 2016 it was not compulsory so I did not get it no problem.
    now I must say things most probably have changed since lovkdown.....so I can only speak from my own experience.

      I am planning to visit on February but they say its not the best time to visit Zanzibar. What mon is the best to visit Zanzibar and why?

    • @twoticketstoanywhere
      @twoticketstoanywhere  Год назад

      According to Google: The best time to visit Zanzibar is during the dry season, which lasts from June to October, when temperatures hover at an average of 77°F. During these months, rainfall is at its lowest on the island, averaging 2.67 inches a month in June, 1.88 inches in July, 1.5 inches in August and two inches in September.
