Thanks for that information. Interestingly people have high expectations when they are planning to go to Zanzibar. So i guess this will be an eye opener to very many people so that they can lower their expectations about this island. I love it cause i've never been disappointed when i go there yet its now 3 times.
Weyni don't also forget to invest in Tigray where there is huge opportunities to make money rebuilding Tigray Republic.Real estate, factories, restaurants, hotels, husbandry, construction, small hospitals, etc etc are the few to mentioned to invest in and make profit.Wow Zanzibar is beautiful one day we will visit. Thanks for sharing this video.
Weyni,You are a brave Tigray Woman, smart, honest, Fair.Dont also Forget Tigray is where you can invest and make money while creating Jobs for the heroic Tigray people. Thanks for this video.
I could listen to you all day everyday. Everything is true. Wish i knew some of the things you've mentioned before. Thanks so much queen for your golden video's!❤
I absolutely love your style! I also been to Zanzibar Island and I can verify some of what you said because I also experienced it when I was there. Great video my sister. I would like to meet you when I come back to East Africa, but I will settle in Nairobi, Kenya suburbs. 🙏🏾
Number 8 , those woman they don’t go out with local Zanzibari men , they are other Africans . Zanzibar it has been a junk where many men from countries near Zanzibar are dumping themselves . Tanzania mainland , Kenyans etc
Mbuzi choma is fire! loved it. Great info as usual Weyni, i was thrown off by the Channel name change, i might have to take out my anger sometime in July in Zanzibar's version of the purge
@@mctreasure Forodhani street food is a nice experience. You can try different local dishes and seafood. However I would be careful there because the food is overpriced and much fish and seafood is not always fresh. Try Urojo when you there though 👍🏾
Hi Weini. What’s your take on healing real estate projects in Africa? Hotel + healing center (integrative detox + apitherapy + acupuncture + hidjama + lymphatic and guasha massages, spinal cord adjustment) + medical check up clinic. This can be a good investment in real estate with health & wellness purpose. I think Tanzania and Kenya are good places for this.
Hello Weyni, my family and I are planning a month long trip to East Africa, beginning in Ethiopia, Kenya and lastly Tanzania/Zanzibar. We plan to go to Addis and would like to travel to Gondar and Lalibela. After Ethiopia, we're heading to Nairobi and Mombasa. Then on to Dar, Victoria Falls and Zanzibar. So much Great advice in this video, especially on withdrawing funds from bank ATM machines. As well as renting a rental car, eating away from hotel and planning your own trip and saving. We plan a week 7-10 days. Any additional insight you provide.
Sounds like an amazing trip. When you visit the Mosi Oa Tunya Falls in Zambia/ Zimbabwe make sure to get a multi entry visa so that you can cross the bridge to Zambia or Zimbabwe, depending on which country you enter first 🙏🏾
Internet has changed! They just launched 5G! All my repats friends are getting it ! In the last 2 years i visited frequently for ling period and didn’t have any issues workung remotely in hotel lobby, coffes, beach bar… I know also the Digital nomad community .. the real problem is inconsistency in electricity 💯💯💯 and random power cut
Thanks for your insights. I was there when 5g was introduced. You don’t get 5g in all areas just a very few outside of town. As you said the problem is regular power cuts but unstable WiFi connectivity too.
Hello Weyni, are gay people allowed to visit Zanzibar? My husband and I would love to visit for our honeymoon. Also can you recommend tour guides and drivers in Zanzibar for us? Thank you!
@@Merhatha my pleasure. It really depends on your budget. I loved my stay at BE Zanzibar Boutique Hotel in Jambiani, prices start from 350 USD per night. If you look for something less than 100 usd per night there are many amazing airbnbs. The most important is, book a place with AC
Hi there! Thanks so much for your precious videos and tips. But aren't you also a bit too dramatic about the internet? I was in Kiwengwa two years ago for two months and I was using regularly on line, even watching movies and so on. I didn't have an specific internet connection, I was just using the signal of my phone... In two months I've never had problem about that. So I was planning to follow your advice and go to the south-est in the next weeks, and I need to stay connected because I'll be there for months, and need working from there. But now I'm wondering if your very low speed on line advise was mostly related to the south-est??
Im not exaggerating. Working online is not the same as watching movies. I can also watch a movie on Netflix at my home on the south east coast, but I can not upload or download files without waiting hours. I know many digital nomads who left the island because of the bad network.
@@planB-BacktoAfricaok you lived there in 2008. They just launched 5 G now all my repats friends are buying it. And Starlink is coming next year. The problem is electricity powershut sometimes at night… I’ve been 6 times in the last 2 years as a slow travellers for 3 weeks to 1 month nearly each time. I was able to work everywhere in cafe, restaurants, beach cafe, hotels lobbys and my airbnbs too … it’s changing … I’m a digital marketer and have an online travel agency too

Ok i never had issues unless there is a powercut but i’ve stayed in differrnet places usually Stonetown, Paje, Jambiani and Michamwi … it depends where you stay. But now locals and residents are getting Airtel 5G and it’s working well
I'm just back from Zansibar 12/24 and I think it was the last time 🙈🙈 So much is going wrong on this beautiful island!!! Plastic all over the place and the government doesn't care, joung healthy men have no jobs, infrastructure is horrible and behind the hotels you see the real Zansibar 👎👎It can't be everything depends on the tourist
I appreciate the videos of our home but please do not include mwaka kogwa as part of Zanzibari tradition/culture, that pagan ritual has nothing to do with the rest of the Zanzibaris, only those in makunduchi celebrate that, almost 95-99% of Tanzanians/ Zanzibaris don't celebrate or have never heard of this
I hope that africa rises , that the natives wont be referred to as mere disturbing beachboys.I hope that those beachboys get to enjoy the fruits of their island to the fullest...nothing against the content creator
