Kraft Music I'm looking to purchase one of your E drum kits, but I was wondering what kind of sound system I could use to do live performances. Would the Stagepas 600i coupled with one of your Yamaha subs give me a really good sound to do solo performances, utilizing backing tracks. Also, I'm really leaning toward your DTX 562K. Thanks
I bought this same kit at Kraft Music (essential bundle) What I like about this over the Roland it's their sound, oak custom, maple custome, dry custom, studio kit.. It give you an instant gorgeous sound. I can't wait, it doesn't let me sleep just thinking about her! I'm very glad I found this kit. Ty Tom Gridffin for the demo.
I just got this kit yesterday. I upgraded from a Roland TD-3. I've also owned the TD-4kx. I watched all of the videos on here and read all of the reviews that I could find online. I honestly couldn't find a review besides on musicradar that helped me decide to buy the 562k. Also the way the 502 built-in kits sounded in the videos did not impress me. I was looking at this, the 2box drumit 5, and the Roland TD-15kv. I wanted to stray away from Roland, however, and a drummer friend absolutely swore by the DTX silicone pads. So I went for it. Long story short... I am super impressed with both the build quality as well as the sound that this kit puts out. I won't even be messing with VST's for a while. It's a huge step up from the lower end Rolands I had. The pads feel great when I hit them. Much better than mesh in my opinion. Excellent job Yamaha. Also if anyone has any questions (although I'm still just breaking it in) or anything, feel free to message me. I play mostly punk, hardcore, metal and postrock. This kit was just the ticket for me.
hey dude how is this kit going for you since its been 3 years , how does the cymbal sound (so many negative reviews online) , does the bass accomodate double kick pedal or it just barely fits? and those small toms and snares does it make it hard to play ???
Hi.i would like to ask you a question. I use a VST plugins and I bought an extra pad and I sent to input (TOM1) i used Y cable. Every pad sends me a diferent midi note (It's okay), but problem is when I play to both pads in same time. I hear always only one. It's okey when the pad type is set on "2balanced" ? I need to play on two diferent pad, not as head and rim. Problem is in setting of a crosstalk ? Can you help me please ? I have same problem if I connect next pad to kick input :( KP65 ) Thank you very very much !
I liked the Roland but it had only a duel trigger for the snare and didn't have a rim shot capabilities which to me was the deal breaker. I play a lot of country music, so I went with the Yamaha. The Yamaha is upgradable too!
I have always approached my ekit as if it was a different instrument all together. So, to me- comparing an ekit to a acoustic set is akin to comparing an acoustic guitar to a electric guitar. Each instrument has it pluses and minuses.

To be honest, the sound isnt very good. Roland beats yamaha in terms of sound. But the feel of the silicon drum heads from yamaha makes it feels very realistic.
The new Yamaha DTX-502 series electronic drum sets have some awesome features. The DTX-PADs feel great!

Phil Trunnell I'm thinking about buying the 522k how good are the sounds? Specifically preset kits and the toms and cymbals?

Yes i would consider this over the td15 because the mesh pads are to bouncy and i like the silecone pads
Thanks Tom for the video. Should I purchase the roland TD11kv or this kit from Yamaha...ahhhhggg I can't decide!!! If you can help, much appreciated.

if i buy the dtx502 module for my dtx560k kit will be the equivalent to the dtx562k kit?

If im not wrong, the starting drum kit is the funk kit
goooooooooooooooooooooood
Is it worth it to pay a bit more to get the DTX562K vs DTX532K? Also, what pedal and stool do you recommend to go along with this kit?
What's the name of the preset kit used in the beginning of the video? Btw the DTX562k sounds awesome.
Whitch one sould I buy? This or the 900k?
Cool.
would recommend this or the roland td11kv
I have found that trying to get more 'songs' to play is a nearly impossible.
how to record the sound of the drum kit?

never cared much for yamaha's e cymbal sounds. I do however like their silicon heads.
Stop rushing and dragging
CYMBALS SOUND HORRIBLE
