i bought the dtx532 kit after watching this video. Im having a great time with it!
Can't wait till mine gets here next week. Sounds great.
+baphomick HI, how do you feel the kit is? Just that in the video they are not going to highlight the disadvantages, and if you could help me knowing how the high hat feels basically, i have had a lot of trouble with electronic hi hats because going back to acoustic kit after practicing much on electronic hi hats takes away the feel and the rebound seems quite different. And yes what you feel about other features? Please let me know.
+Vasu Dev I should have been more clear, I only purchased the drum module to go with some older pads I already had. So I apologize that I can't be any help in regards to the response of the pads. As for the module itself, I love the sounds of the various kits. I haven't really explored other features, like the practice mode etc. Wish I could be more help.
No joke how do u record with it?
I have been trying to do a direct hookup from module to computer using the USB and I can't get it to show up on my computer! Is there a fix for this
Hello, whether yamaha dtx 502 module can be used to record sound and save in module if possible how to do it?
Hoping some one can help me. I use the 502 on an A2E set. How do you utilize pads 10-12? I have the splitters but they all play only the main sounds identical to what the main input is. How do you separate? I have the touch app! And I want to add another crash. Am have no luck!!
how do you turn off the high hat pedal as a second bass pedal I couldn't find it anywhere
Datguy kit number 9 the metal kit
How do i use this module as a midi trigger for connecting to pc?
+Fabian Thio It would be thought the USB port, it should install as a USB MIDI device and you could use it in a DAW, VST or whatever supports MIDI.
Yamaha silicone pads have the best response, much more realistic than mesh or hard rubber
They are very good for soft, medium and loud playing. One weak spot is pianissimo press rolls (sometimes called buzz or closed rolls).
all Yamaha silicone pads are good
click on my name, I did some demos of these pads using a direct audio out from the module into the camera
DTX502 Touch app is discontinued. Be carefull buyers. Yamaha throw away the app for this module. I bought this module 2 years ago now a basic feature lost. be aware.
