I listen to Berserk's soundtrack in airports when I travel! I travel internationally a lot and I hate it but the soundtrack always relaxes me and prepares me for my next flight. If I heard this in an airport, I would sob uncontrollably in front of the piano

Watching this video helped me to articulate why we love Berserk so much: It transcends its medium. Yes, it's a manga and yes, it's been adapted to an anime. But Berserk is also a place. All great books become real in a way that can't really be defined: Middle Earth is like that. You get the impression that somewhere, somehow Sam and Frodo are camping under a tree and smoking their pipes. Somewhere, somehow, the Mad Hatter and his merry band of lunatics are still having their tea party. And somewhere, somehow, Guts is still striding through the rain, Dragonslayer strapped to his back, with Puck flittering around his head being an endearing asshole. And this guy playing this song in a modern airport somehow manages to turn the airport into Midland...Just for the duration of the song, of course, but those that hear it and understand, know.
