I think people don’t know Beyoncé is classically trained. I love when new fans here her actually sing. Those instruments you can’t identify are her voice lol it’s literally an instrument.
As much as I love Beyonce other projects, this will ALWAYS remain my favorite album of hers. I listen to it almost daily. The beauty of the whole production is unmatched in my book. As a Congolese woman, it made my heart so proud to see African music (Nigerian, Ghanean, Congolese...) and our cultures be represented so beautifully and tastefully. Job well done by Bey and all the people who worked along with her on this masterpiece.
I love watching her behind the scenes. Another documentary of hers you should check out is Life is but a Dream. A great documentary she did a while back.

This album is one of my favorite albums ever. It is definitely on repeat in my household. There are times when I’ve gone from overwhelming inspiration to tears from overwhelming beauty while listening to this album. It also hits something so deep in my soul as an African American. I also dance like I am free like Beyoncé described. This album is a Masterpiece as you said.
OMG I’m from senegal 🇸🇳 to I’m die hard Beyoncé fan I’ve always love your reaction to her when I saw this documentary I wasn’t expecting seeing someone from country being breathing the same air as bey and as we speak she’s one of her choreographer on this current tour I was so shocked and proud I cried and that made me realize that anything is possible in life there should no limites to dream nobody should stop you from your goals anything is possible.

As a Kenyan born 🇰🇪, British raised woman this album is a full circle moment. The power, the culture, the emotion and everything in between is just so beautiful. To see our culture on a platform is so empowering. She’s truly a gift, proving this platform is a gift to us - thank you for reacting and sharing.
One thing about Beyoncé, the singles for her albums are bangers. BUT the other songs on her albums are just as great. Any song could be a single! She a master at her craft and creating a solid body of work

I too love this album. It didn’t get a lot of attention or acclaim, especially from those for whom music only exists in the American Top-40 realm. Another reason why Beyonce should not be compared to traditional pop artists.

I'm unwell, but I had to watch this, haha. 'Spirit' really is a masterpiece; it brings me close to tears every time, too - those opera tones were craaazy! As I mentioned in the 'The Gift' reaction, I always feel emotional listening to 'Brown Skin Girl' as a South Asian girl, and the making of the song in also made me so emotional, too. Love your reactions! I think if more people saw the behind the scenes and all that went into it they wouldn’t be so quick to pre judge the project. I remember a lot of people didn’t realize that this isn’t just a typical soundtrack to the movie so they bother to listen to it. I’m glad she made this in her own way on her terms. This album was a shift (in my opinion) of Beyonce making the music she wants, and music with impact. Lemonade is still my favorite because I felt it was the most raw Ive seen Beyonce.
