Yes he’s just like the wind...... I was just watching an interview on the cast of [winds of war] Ali McGraw stated that when jmv went to audition he just read his lines for 5 minutes then shouted roll...cameras loved him and jmv was ELectryfying... this is from Ali McGraw.
Ernest Borgnine also said that...Jan just looks at the script for 5 mins and then ask for the roll...what a photographic memory.Accdg to Dan Curtis jmv was a natural... his instincts as an actor is flawless....I hope people will stop saying mean things about him. Jmv was a beautiful man and talented as well.people he has worked with say good things about him. Let’s give credit where credit is due.

@@JiggeryPokery He was multi talented & so underated in my view.But I am kinda biased.Sang,composed lyrics & poetry,played guitar & cello,acted of course & was a top surfer.Which was what he said he wanted to be remembered for.Loved dogs, horses,countryside.As a surfer & animal lover myself & a country girl in exile,I can do relate to that.And I actually got to pilot a Cessna once one of the biggest thrills of my life.So watching The Lady in action was awesome.Miss you String.RIP.
