McLaren V12 sounds like a DEMON'S ORGY inside... Any car of the Golden Era brings tears to my eyes... I could watch this 24/7, just like in the 80's and 90's.
absolutly, the RA121E is the very best sound of F1 for ever!! I joined several F1 races in Hockenheim in the late 80´s and early 90´s so I can remember how great the engine sounds live !
@veyronzondaf That V-12 sounds like it's emerging from the pits of Hell. Absolutely brutal stuff! I say the MP4/6 is one of very few cars with an instantly recognizable exhaust note.
@ThyMiguez The "Honda-RA121E" V12 of 1991 and the "Ferrari Tipo 043" V12 of 1994 was the best sounding engines! Very different though...the Honda had a deep, crisp, hollow roar, while the Ferrari more high pitched, almost whining in a very scary, but trilling way! But I wonder how much of it has to do with the exhaust?! Ex. the Renault and Lotus team today run the same engine, but VERY different exhaust systems and sound completely different?!
Best sounding V12 I have ever heard!..
this is a MP 4/6 from 1991 with Honda V12. the Williams is a FW 11B from 1987 with Honda V6 Turbo.

Come on Bernie! Give us the classic years of F1 back! I want to see cars like these racing again!
Both sound great but Im going to choose the Williams V6 Turbo this time. I just LOVE that deep sound.
@Jamirofan89 No this is a 1.5l V6 turbo engine
@veyronzondaf Honda...!

Ayrton Senna's F1-car...
This is why I'm gonna miss NA engines.

Is that Tsuchiya in the Mclaren?
