    I feel like I'm bullshiting myself when I try to tell myself something positive about me.
    Edit: this was a long time ago I now understand what self love is and its only found in our Lord and saviour being born again allows us to see ourselves the way Jesus sees us he loved us so much he died for us thats the only real way you can learn to love yourself and others is through the love of Christ!

      You need to understand yourself. You know other people aren’t perfect, but you know they are trying their best to navigate this difficult, confusing world. You can also realize this about yourself. Don’t hate yourself for the perfect person you could be, but love yourself for the broken, beautiful person you already are.

      If you are kind to others, help someone at times of need, never hurt others intentionally, stand for the right cause, this makes you a good person. I believe these few reasons are enough for loving yourself. Once u start believing in yourself and start ignoring all the things you hate yourself for, you will find more things to love yourself for. It’s something like the saying, once you stop focusing on the bad things only good things persist. Your flaws and mistakes are what make you YOU. They’re stars that make up the constellation of you life. Without them how will you be yourself? If it seems difficult let’s take one step at a time. Even if you one reason to love yourself for, it’s okay. Keep going and one day you will have countless. All the best 👍🏻

    Summary: Learn to love yourself is the foundation of everything, of all relationships, the entire life. the better you care for yourself the better you care for everything which is going on in your life. Confidence, self-esteem, how we perceive ourselves, the foundation of our life. A cement foundation. When things happen to us we get chips and cracks in the foundation. As a kid I would run up at kids and say lets be friends and go on the slide. Father left at 6 month: Devastating effect, are self-absorbed, is there something wrong with us? What did I do wrong, was there something I did? School bullying, no one played with me except one. Fear of abandonment. Shaming. Set on fire in front of the school.
    The catalyst for change: I am a girl trapped in a boy’s body, I need to be that girl, please understand, please help me. Please don’t be mad. Do everything to help through. Trans youth: high depression, self-harm, anxiety, bullying, low self-esteem, body image. I need to do more for this child. My daughter, who I love unconditionally, made me learn to love myself unconditionally. 1. Redefine my ideals of beauty. Often from magazine covers, 1 body type and look. I will never meet that. I had to change my criteria for beauty. Beauty is perspective based. To show her . It’s not just that the package, it comes from deep inside and flows outside. HOw i treat people when they need help. Do I smile at people, reach out. How I present myself, carry myself.
    Better care of myself. Do things that should my self-love. I would do that for me, what I was doing for others (partner, child, friends). Put aside negative self-talk. This made my cracked wall stronger and healed them. I exercise, shopping. It made me stand taller, feel confident, stronger. Protect my body from injuries. Peace with my addictions, for nurturing and self-pleasing, balanced.
    My daughter taught me love me. I did it for her. Until one day I realized I did a lot for me and I really do love myself. I gave her love and support and she gave me so much back. We are both doing so much better and we are growing and learning together. My job is to convince society to accept people exactly how they are. My instagram: sutercarlo

    It makes me smile to see that people are actually trying to love themselves because when you set a goal to do something and try to do it than you can surely achieve it. Sitting their and complaining that you already tried to love yourself isnt gonna do you any better. Hard work pays off and if you want to love yourself than you have to try and dont give up.
    I went through the same I really hated myself. I slowly but surely started to love myself and to this day, im still learning but I can tell you that I am much better than before. If I learned how to love myself than I am 100% sure you can too.
    You are beautiful the way you are and you shouldnt change yourself for anything, love yourself.

I have few friends at school but they are all transferring to another school next year. I don't know what i'll do. I'll be all alone. I get anxiety attacks and regret everything i say. I came here searching help, and stumbled across to this. It was helpful, very important message. But even after this if i try to think differently, i feel like lying and it feels worse. I'm really lost.

      You have to practice self love... reprogramm your mind. Write down some positive affirmations and read them daily few times a day. In 21-30 days you ll be another person! You can do this!

    • @freaky_spirit8011
      @freaky_spirit8011 3 года назад

      You do deserve things because your a human and anyone can become better towards others practice doing things for yourself and practice not feeling guilty about it because nobody should feel guilt. Then you can slowly start becoming less selfish... everyone can make improvements and thats why everyone (including selfish people) deserve a chance. You got this!😊😁

    • @freaky_spirit8011
      @freaky_spirit8011 3 года назад

      then you wont be nice to others because your doing it try to improve yourself (which is selfish) and You will feel better about yourself which makes you do nice things for people because genuinly care about others. This is reproggraming your sub concious mind so you will not be selfish anymore once you start taking action

    • @freaky_spirit8011
      @freaky_spirit8011 3 года назад

      ^i dont know if this is write because maybe practicing doing things for other people starts off as an action for yourself and then by you keep doing things for other people makes you care and become less selfish because doing things for other people makes you feel less selfish so you start loving yourself and then you start doing things for others because you genuinly care. I think either way works really just do the one you feel is best for you

    Loving ourselves is one of the hardest thing to do. We seek validation in unlikely places that we forget our first love; Jesus, and with Jesus he will teach us how to love ourselves. God made everything good but we listen to what the world say about our image or about anything Trust God... I know because I was once that person listening to worldly stuff. Reading the word has helped me to love myself and allows time alone with God. Perfect peace.

    I too have experienced many of the same things (other than being set on fire, that's horrible. I'm sorry you had to go thru that) I trying to learn how to live myself at 37. Unfortunately I really have no idea what love feels like. So i'm guessing.

    Awesome message! I believe everyone should love their self for who they are and embrace their own uniqueness! I'm so proud of your daughter for having the courage to to come forward instead of being scared to be who she is. Props to you for being so accepting! Too bad other parents could not unconditionally accept and love their children for who they are. At 42 years old I've started to love and accept myself for who I am. I'm very sorry for the pain and hurt you endured early on.
