Doug FYI all that footage that you may consider as "Boring"... is not to us, we love the talk, views and peace. Don't feel it has to be "RUclips entertainment" for us to enjoy. Absolutely love the trips and footage, keep it up.

i am a new subscriber and Im catching up on watching your videos along with Shawn, Joe, Scramble O, etc. which i really enjoy. One recently you did with Joe where you and he caught some fish and you had fish in a thick batter and I was wondering if you could share the recipe but if not i understand. By the way you have an awesome talent with carving!

Hey Doug you were doing a canoeing and camp video with Joe and you had a thicker batter and deep fried the fish. Looked more like a fish and chip batter. Do you have a recipe for that and can you share it. It looked great and tasty and would like to try it myself. But if not I understand and keep up the great videos!!

Doug...Just got done commenting on Joe's site... what a magical place you have found. Long time fisherman, and appreciate the shear joy of biting into batter fried, fresh caught fish, around a campfire !!! Thought your showing how you clean and filet the fish was really well done. You, Joe, and Sean ever come to Washington State I will take ya'll canoeing on Ross Lake ...we'll camp on one of the islands, catch a 5 pound Rainbow or two, cook them up, enjoy some JP Trodden or Ghost Owl Whisky, and some Blackraven Trickster Ale around the fire. Keep it up and God Bless

2 of the 3 musketeers enjoying bass fishing and yummy bass dinner. Didn't realize it was Joe there til almost the end. Good line tying tip. Suggestion for using tinfoil to cook:. Put shiny side to inside as it reflects the heat better/faster. Reflects heat inward. Bass was my husband's favorite fish. We had alot of fish fries with friends. Sighhh. Good memories. Great to see buddies fishing and cooking. 🐱💞

Amazeballz!!!!🙃😲🙃 Great vid Doug (&Joe haha) and as I've said before, those rainbows are just nature's way of showing love and approval of your care and actions ❤💛💚💙💜

I learned a trick from a Chinese gal to make fried foods even crispier and to keep them crispy longer. After the first fry, remove the food and let it cool for about 5 minute. Then put it back into the hot oil to fry again for just a moment or two. This is how many restaurants cook their french fries!

The 21st was my Grandson's 12th Birthday, of course He wanted to go Fishing , Ole Pops learned him how to fish when He was 5 yrs old , The Boy is a Natural Fish Whisper'r he will catch Fish when No One else around is getting a nibble , He's won 2 local Youngster tournaments , Well anyway he pulled in a couple small mouth bass an 6 good size Bluegill . It was getting a tad late an he was getting anxious to get back to Base Camp so he could fix supper ,He does his own scaling , gutting , filleting . An he's a pretty fair Squirrel Hunter with his Savage .22LR . I was closing up the tackle boxes an getting to fire up the boat motor an it looked like he had hooked 1more Bluegill it was his last fish so he was playing it generally he reels them suckers right in once it's hooked, I reckon it was about 20 feet from the boat when we saw this trail of bubbles start popping up an all of sudden he dang near got yanked off the bow Well it seems Mr Gator was wanting some bluegill for supper too an wasn't wanting to share he got him close enough to the boat to see it roughly a lil 4 footer .
