Passive - Runing it down mid if draven has a bad support or is at least 0/3 he start to build tilt stacks at 100 tilt stacks he automaticly runs it down
Well I don't play Draven, but: 1. I hadn't come up with using E in a smart way to reposition enemies to the side you want them to go, I just threw it and tried to hit them, no matter where they went; and 2. The "predictably using" it is pretty useful, as a lot of players might not know this.
I mean, that is not a hidden draven mechanic, if you have a spell that diposition an enemy in a way YOU can control, like taliyah, it is obvious that you can take advantage of that. That's like saying using thresh's E (Flay) to knock the enemy back in your team and not just using it for dmg is a hidden mechanic. The prediction thing is also blatantly obvious. A spell with charge time. I mean, what's so hidden and "not everyone knows" about a spell with charge time? Of course you have to predict when the enemy is gonna jump, that's how every single spell with charge time works.
@@reyeldoggo I think the difference between Taliyah's W and Thresh's E, and Draven's E is that on the former two, you explicitly choose the direction you want enemies to be flung when casting the ability, which does not happen with Draven's E. But I agree, if you have some time invested on this game, I'm pretty sure you would know this, that's why I think this is more oriented to new players, as opposed to what he says at the beginning ("even Draven one tricks" -> I doubt they don't know this).
I said hidden to add flavor to the "challenger mechanic" joke. Nonetheless, the "mechanic" I mentioned isn't a mechanic. This is nowhere near something worthy to be put on a list like this. He could've read out Draven's E tooltip. He explained how the spell works, if his axes hit from the right side, the enemy goes left and vice versa. That's not a mechanic. Imagine a video about 10 Ashe mechanics and number 1 is nothing more than "Ashe ult stuns depending on distance." On a list like this there's no place for something that you can read off of the tooltip of the champ.
Dylan Curzon enemies that aren't blind can still see your hands sparkling like firecrackers. Edit : What I meant is, Draven only stops spinning, the glowing is still there.
Its been two years since the release of this video but I gave it a listen after a bad game in hopes to learn some new stuff and in fact I did. I even got a pentakill right afterwards. Good stuff.
sorry to be off topic but does anyone know a trick to get back into an Instagram account? I stupidly lost my login password. I appreciate any tips you can give me.
Draven is the champion i escaped bronze for the first time in my life. After that i started climbing with other champions, but draven started it. So yeah a lot of respect for that champion.
I mained Draven for only 1 month and I new all of these plus: stand aside can knock people threw walls, if it’s a small wall. With enough attack speed, or at max range auto, you can juggle more than 2 axes. When catching axes you can stand on the outer edge of the marker and face Draven toward the middle of the marker and still get the catch even though you are physically outside the mark.
I'm just new to draven but i noticed somethign about his q is that where you move is usually where the axes will go. Like if you auto then move back before the xe hits the axe will land farther behind you as compared to moving forward it will land in front of you.
Dud I made my first ult flash combo to a recalling Lee sin that moved to the side in order to survive. I felt so pro after that kill I was quite far as well
Peace, you skipped the most important tip, clicking in the direction you want your axe to fly. If you click between autohit animation and the autohit hitting the enemy you can actually ruffly control the direction where the axe is going to fly to.
every “mechanic” in this video is something a first time draven could pick up on easily. i’ve never touched draven in my life and i still knew all 10 of these tips
You didn't cover the thing that made my Draven go from scrub tier to actually pretty solid and that is two things about Q: 1 as much as you can, try to maintain 2 axes in lane (and if you can while a fight is brewing) because if u have 2 axes+Q off CD, you're less likely to end up having dropped all axes and not have your massive DPS steroid active for a fight (you can afford to drop 1 and still have 2 or even juggle 3 with enough AS). The 2nd is a trick to keep double axes in the event that you can't find something to bounce one off of, and that is that reactivating Q while holding 1 or even 2 axes, resets the expiration timer for all the axes you're holding, so you can keep 2 axes for another 6 seconds without having the chance to auto something by using Q just before they would expire. Once I learned that stuff my Draven improved dramatically. I knew about 2/3 of the rest of that just from understand how things work in league (W giving you ghosting was news to me, and apparently to you recently as well).
Wow, thank you for these advices! I really want to learn Draven, but everybody keep telling me that is too hard for me :/ I'll keep trying aniway, this video will surely help!
hi, im a plat draven main with half a mil mastery points, i had a huge winning spree but now im losing every game... any advise on how to play the laning phase and how to play with a feeding support/ really bad or defensive support?
@@DustyyBoi Hitting S makes your character stop taking any action until you give a command. You normally will run to fast to catch the axe, but if hit S briefly, you'll catch it, resetting the W and then you can use W for the movement speed to make up for lost time/distance and then some=it's faster than just chasing+you keep axes=more damage output with autos you do land.
First one is not explained very good. I think what you want to say is "if you hit the enemy farther away from the center of your e they get hit farther to the side". Besides that. As always top content
Awesome vídeo men, i'm not Challenger yet but there's another Draven mechanic i discovered. Draven's Q can stack 2 times right? But there's a way to hit 3 Q having 1 on the air and the other 2 on hand while youre hitting enemies. Can you confirm this to me?
yes, you can do Q, wait, and then you can do Q again to do 2 more empowered autos, this way you get 3 empowered autoattacks, and this is called 3 axe juggling. The trick is to stand against a wall, so the drop mark will be more predictable.
*Plays Draven for 5 years before realizing that W makes so that he ignores unit collision* Good job, much love.
I just learnt that as well... having played thousands of games on draven wtf..
hehexd same 😂
reallyyyyyy???
Actually ability doesn't say so
Johhny tst So is the extra 50 range on champs with auto reset abilities but they do.

3/10 forgot about axe dissapearing mechanics, thats very interesting mechanics yes
What is axe dissapearing tell us
@@margaretflagothier4987 its a bug 😂
when you use E/ult sometimes (or always?) your existing axes go invisible, so people can think you're axeless when really you're about to fuck them up

i was messing around with draven in practice too and if the enemy is close to a thin wall draven's e can push them through the wall.
interesting, I'll have to try it for myself!
is there a mechanic to prevent draven from going full toxing mode for losing the 2v2 5min in game?
No. It's part of playing Draven. You inherit the spirit of T1 Draven. Run it down mid
yes, camp him so he cant lose :^)
good draven ever lose lane :)
Being tilted is the highest level of draven mechanics there is
Skrt Skrt I never seen a happy Draven win lane

“This ability has many uses, so it can be very useful”

Why doesnt W mention that it cancels unit collision though
cuz Draaaaaaaven
Do draven main reads skill abilitys
