I sure miss me some Oldman cooking recipes. He explained them and took his time and made it easy. RIP you are greatly missed . Heavenly cooking now lol.
My husband loved this so much,he gave me a compliment, I am cooking this more often, thank you 🙂🙂🙂
I just made these Sunday and I'm making these now. Man! They are hit in my house. My old man said: "I could eat that for breakfast, all day". 💪🏾
Lately, my loved ones don't react with fear when I invite them for a meal. Your video "lessons" are a main reason. Thanks, Tom.
Thank you for watching!! That is Awesome! :)
I make this at least once a week now! Everyone loves it. Very easy and simple to make. They never get dried out. Thanks again for putting it up.
I love all your recipes I also love that you explain everything and take your time and of course your reminders. Thank you and God bless..
That looks delicious 😋
I followed your recipe and boy did these come out tender. Thanks for sharing!!
I was amazed at how tender mine came out too... Thank you for watching! :)
My husband has made this several times, and always comes out delish!
You are one of my favorite RUclips cooks. I cooked these Pork Steaks today, and they were delicious. I used nonstick foil. I also cook Ribeye Steaks using your technique often, whenever cooking them inside, and the first time I used it, I had Wagyus just as you did.... and the Cinnamon Roll Cake was BOMB!! ❤️❤️😍😍
I love how you said,” 3- 35 minute cooking times” lol. Looked delicious I hope you enjoyed it
I'm making these now, except with potato salad. Great, trouble free recipe. Thanks!
These are so simple and so delicious. Thank you sir. 👍
Followed your recipe and it was delicious, best ever. Thanks so much
Tom, I've never seen anything like this! I don't think I've ever even seen "pork steaks" up here! But that is exactly why I enjoy tuning in to your videos! To learn new, easy-enough-for-me recipes that are off the flavor charts, like your baked pork steaks! Fabulous meal my friend! Thanks so much!

I’m not into pork that much, but OMGOSH these are amazing. So tender and juicy and delicious! This right here is what’s for dinner tonight. Thank you for sharing the recipe.
looks so good!
I literally just put my plate in the sink and came out to review this recipe. I'm sure the meat was fully cooked after the second heat cycle. I wanted the BBQ sauce so I followed your directions. The meat fell off the bone and tasted awesome. The taters were perfect. Next time I'm going to throw ears of corn between the steaks for the last heating cycle. Thank you for posting this damn tasty, hearty meal.
Pretty cool

The best kept secret in the meat department is pork steaks. You can fix them 100 different ways. They are easy, tender, and so delicious.

Looks great. Im make me some today.
Looks excellent and economical too!
Yes and very delicious... Man your banana pudding got me wanting some of that.. :)
Well Tom the pudding is fast to make as long as you do not have to video it. I know that you realize what I am talking about. So much easier and faster to cook without a camera.
Michael's Home Cooking ......... ......

Thankyou for the pork recipe🙏
I have a couple of these marinating in the fridge some Italian dressing then I added some Chinese five-spice and some hosin sauce and a little bit of Lea & perrins teriyaki sauce I'm a splash of apple cider vinegar. I will cook them tomorrow just like this. And I will make sure that I dry them out well before sticking them in the oven and I will make a sauce out of my marinade
Better than the grill so tender. I did mushrooms and brown gravy, Thanks so much !!!!!

Good looking pork Tom!
Thank you very much Jim! :)
Those look fantastic Tom! I love pork of all kinds!!!
Thank you Larry... yea I was surprised how tender and juicy they were.. Thanks Larry! :)
Let me try this out🤔
Deeeeeeeeelicious... slow cook those tender steaks....
Can I use a little more seasoning??
Hi, Tom. That steak looks amazing. Troy from T-ROY COOKS and Larry Wolfe from TheWolfePit would be amazed. What do you love about fried chicken and what you do with it? Have a good day, good buddy.
Thanks Byron... I eat it... I like the crunch... :)
Can you use white potatoes or will I need to boil them first?
Fucking hell these tasted awesome and with this COVID19 Quarantine going on this was a god send my friend you are awesoms keep up thd good work
I tried it with 3 rounds of 35 minutes at 325 and it was to much, just dried it out. I also tried it doing a 35 minute cook, saucing, flipping, saucing again and doing another 35 minutes and it was perfect. Both were with nice thick pork steaks.
David Savage next time try letting your pork steaks sit in some Apple Cider for 24h before cooking to add moisture
@@redleader6186 i didn't see that in his recipe?
@@davidsavage4741 It doesn't have to be in his recipe. Im just giving u a tip
Can I do this same recipe with regular streaks if my local store doesn’t have pork steaks?
This recipe is amazing. I have tried it with porkchops and steaks as well. Just make sure your steaks are no less than 1/2 inch and use additional liquid while baking. Also, watch the third round of 35 minutes as may have to reduce the time depending on the cut you are using. Buen probecho!
Looks delicious, Tom. I know those potatoes had to absorb a lot of good flavor from the pork juices. (:
It was really good... Thank you for watching! :)
Soon as he said tayters I knew it was good
Do I cover it when it goes in the oven or I cook open?
I don't think you do, other wise it would be stringy
Well Tom, if I can't do this recipe, then it proves I'm an older man than you! (but who knows for sure?:)
One way to know is if I would gripe about leaving the oven on that long in the hot humid summer time...
Umm, you didn't gripe, in fact you encouraged it!
So I guess, from one old man to another, I win!.....Oh yeah baby ;D
Wait a minnit, or did I win? I always keep a blanket near my chair when the AC is on full blast....so you win!!
Win what? I dunno - what were we talking about? Nice shirt! :) :D
But we *all* win with your easy recipe here, I love it when you can make a real meal without messing up a bunch of pots and pans, and ya got good eats on the table. No doubt that pork was tender as could be, and the taters were full of flavor!
To be serious Tom, this really reminds me of what my Mom or Grandma might have cooked, long ago, so you know I give you high praise there!
Thank you Randy.... Yes it is the way my old Grandma used to cook them... :)
degrees in Celsius or Fahrenheit ?
Farenheit
Fahrenheit... :)
ty Oldmancooking
Tiger King is this you
I do all the ingredients in a turkey size Reynolds oven bag.
Cool.I bet that turns out good... :)
Cooking the meat uncovered wouldn't that dry out the meat?? 🤔
I re-read the recipe, and the re--watched video and still don't know what went wrong. Meat was so dry I couldn't swallow it without liquid and the potatoes were hard as bricks. whole mess went into the garbage.
Anyone try doing this for 2 thirty five minute rounds? 3 sounds too long
I will not thumbs down...cause I like your vids : ) but really? Pretty basic cooking instruction.
Thanks for watching...
Trying to follow the recipe but keep dancing to the background music.
Ow boy if my lil yellow bone baby fat having self coul eat two of thise id be full @universal
1.5 hours? Must be as dry as a camel's chuff?
'taters??'
OMG.
At least try to use good English.
