I am American and I really want to leave this country. Do you how I can settle in Egypt. Like where is the best place fore Americans to live and adapt to the culture? How they get started as far as finding work, shelter, food, school and settling in?
Why do you want to leave to egypt? Its not easy to live and work there for european and american. Life there is sooo different. And all egyptians want to leave egypt because they want to find better jobs.. Im wondering whats your reason to live in egypt? X
+Dina Abadir (Picture Perfect by Dina) well that's a pretty complex answer but I'll try to keep it short. I have a husband & I'm pregnant. We're connecting with the Most High & bible more. We believe America is babylon & will be destroyed soon & Egypt is the promise land. Besides the religious reasons American don't treat Black Americans fairly at all, crime & unnatural things are growing more here & we feel we are not accomplishing anything by staying here. I don't want to raise my child in the environment I live in and believe she can have a more excepting life in Egypt. We are going to the Egyptian embassy in New York soon for questions about food, shelter, modern living, education, adaptation roles for men and women, language, settling & work. But they only help with tourists in protected areas, not citizens looking to live there. Granted as an American i know absolutely nothing which is why I'm trying to find people from the US with Egyptian knowledge who can tell me what I'm get*

Life in Egypt and most other Middle Eastern countries is really rough, unless you have a lot of money and could afford to cut yourself off from all the challenges (Heavy traffic, power cuts, pollution, lack of services, etc.) Don't get me wrong, my mothers family is Egyptian and I love to visit, but living there is hard! And you mentioned religious reasons for wanting to settle there, but you should know that since the revolution extremism is getting worse and my mom's family who are Christian (Egypt is about ten percent Christian) are more and more worried about their future there. Honestly, if I were you I would look at some country in Latin-America or West Africa or South-West Asia where you can have an easier and better life. But in any case, I wish you and your family the best of luck.
This makes me miss Egypt so bad 😩 I can't wait to go back!!
