I feel like the new architecture is really tasteful and feels very Egyptian. Amazing how they can just build a new city, I think they’re doing the same thing in South Korea.
Some of the buildings they are doing definitely evoke certain aspects of ancient Egypt or pay homage to certain architectural aspects of ancient structures 🤓. The business district not so much, though.
Interesting, although I thought it would be more of the city working by now. Have a trip to New Alamein as well, maybe it's more developed by now. Also, a good excuse for some time at the sahel 😉
Most of the residential areas are working, I know a few people who had already moved, there isn't much to do there yet tho. And yah, New Alamein is much more developed/active, and already a tourist destination, but it's also a much smaller city
It will take some time to move all the government entities out there. Then the private sector, then actual people working and having to deal with these will move. It’s also a project for projected growth so keep that in mind.

@@EgyptAdventuresTravel I am Egyptian expat and visited the new capital last January, but could not make it to the business district. Most of the ministries were open and staffed. Anyway, thanks for the nice video.
Looking good. Egypt is a multi-millenia civilization that deserves to be bold and build a new city like this. Cairo is a 20+ metro area that needs to be released from all that density. Hopefully in the next decades a very good transportation plan for Old Cairo will come up
Unfortunately there’s not much more to see than what I did. Hopefully I can do a new video in a year or so when more is open and available to the public. Thanks for watching!
It's so sad to see these brand new cities be planned to be so car-centric and "individualistic" instead of places that foster community and encourage personal relations. Yes, it has streets and squares but their dimentions are vast, the buildings are isolated within private gardens, neighbourhoods are build in an American Suburb style layout, there's no space for small commerce... of course, I'm sure most of the apatments and houses will not be for the average Egiptian but only for the wealthy! How many Dubais do we need before we build cities at a human scale again?
As someone who has visited Egypt multiple times, I can safely state Egyptians don't care about this failed multibillion dollar project. Their collapsing currency is a good sign of how terrible the government has mismanaged Egypt. The only "okay" part of Egypt is either visitng personal friends or Sharm El Sheikh.
I also personally love trips out to El Fayoum Oasis or Siwa Oasis. But yes, for me, visiting friends is the best part of coming to Egypt, plus leading trips and seeing guests experiencing Egypt for the first time.
@@EgyptAdventuresTravel I admire what you're doing in Egypt, it couldn't have been me. I have too little patience with how backwarded Egypt is. I guess this is Egypt's answer to UAE's Dubai. I've heard that a year or two from now the city will really be bustling, by that time I'll be watching apartment hunting videos. I really hope this city doesn't fail or turn into a ghost city as Japan and China have many ghost cities that I had the opportunity to visit.
It is the city that caused Egypt to drown in debt, and also put the majority of Egypt's people below the poverty line at a rate of more than 75% of its people. Praise be to God, it is a beautiful city, and I hope that it will be completed as soon as possible and will help improve Egypt’s miserable economic situation and raise the value of the Egyptian pound once again❤

People must differentiate between native Arabs, such as Saudi Arabia, Dubai, and Kuwait, and countries that only speak Arabic but are not Arabs, such as Egypt, Algeria, Morocco, and Tunisia.

You go to places that even many Egyptians have not seen yet 😄
I want to go everywhere 😎
@@EgyptAdventuresTravel I am Egyptian expat and visited the new capital last January, but could not make it to the business district. Most of the ministries were open and staffed.
Anyway, thanks for the nice video.
Looking good. Egypt is a multi-millenia civilization that deserves to be bold and build a new city like this. Cairo is a 20+ metro area that needs to be released from all that density.
Hopefully in the next decades a very good transportation plan for Old Cairo will come up
I’m definitely hoping for more and better transit options, too, if this were to become a viable place for people to live.
Can you please make more videos on the new capital. There is not much content out there on the new city
Unfortunately there’s not much more to see than what I did. Hopefully I can do a new video in a year or so when more is open and available to the public. Thanks for watching!
As an Egyptian I wish I could afford living in the new capital
Do they offer subsidies for housing in the New Capital like they are offering in some newly developed areas?
Very nice put, happy to explain lifestyle in Egypt in views 😊
Thanks!
Good for Egyptians 👍
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the tour Guss, hopefully the next time it'll all be done and all of those spaces would be open.
Thanks!
I definitely want a city with more public transit options, other than just buses and the trains/monorails that go to other districts.
And we have some good examples like Cayalá or Price Charles´s town. Its so sad to see this.

Great video! Fascinating development.

Just connecting on the internet when the President visits those red sea resorts is a mess!!! Complete internet blackouts, random blackouts in the major cities because the electric grid is overheating etc. etc. etc. The whole "baksheesh" economy also ruins a lot of tourists experience., I am glad you are personally leading trips and shielding them from this. Side note; plz visit Morocco, you will fall completely in love with the country.
Morocco is definitely on the list to visit!
@@EgyptAdventuresTravel Ipromise you will NOT regret it :) From lush green mountain sides to deserts to large parks to snowcapped mountains. It has so much variety in terms of cuisine and terrain. I can see why more and more Europeans love visiting it.

There are some wonderful places in the New Administrative Capital that you can experience, such as the third largest mosque in the world, the sports club, the cultural district, the museum, the library, and others.
Unfortunately at this point, nothing is really open and available to the public except maybe the mosque and the St. Regis Elmasa hotel.

He makes fun of the presence of millions of Syrian, Palestinian, and Sudanese refugees in Egypt, despite Egypt's weak economy, and they are working to increase crowding and consume Egyptians' resources...There are about 9 million refugees in Egypt, making up approximately 8 percent of the world’s refugees!!!
This city is for Egyptians
And the work started on it before you started killing the Palestinian people whom by the way are not going anywhere away from there land no matter what you will do
That’s something Egypt is constructing from day one
So only in your dreams anything else could happen 😒
Wow. I heard it only 3 years ago. Really so fast, they set new capital
Yes, it seems like there are construction crews working almost nonstop. Still a lot to do, though.
The train station I was in is Adly Mansour Station, the largest interchange station in the world and also the most modern
I don’t know about it being the largest interchange station in the world and also the most modern, but it definitely is a big station and has some very modern aspects!

I hope so too!
I’m hoping so, too 🙏🏻

Thank you for pointing this out and for watching.
Ride those buses instead of the uber
No buses at the time went out to the financial district, so we were forced to Uber, but in the future, yes, I definitely will!
Welcome to Egypt, my dear brother. I strongly advise you to visit the city of El Alamein. It is truly the crown jewel of the Mediterranean.

This place looks dystopian
I think that will go away a bit once it’s completed and full of people, but for the moment, it did feel that way for sure!

1:05 Meanwhile, ordinary tax paying citizens in Cairo are living like animals
You are very ridiculous and without morals. We are proud of ourselves. We are the greatest civilization in the world and we will advance like our ancestors, the Pharaohs. Do not interfere in Egypt’s affairs.
I’ve heard that-a lot of people are struggling.
vey nice. Thanks!
Glad you like it!
People must differentiate between native Arabs, such as Saudi Arabia, Dubai, and Kuwait, and countries that only speak Arabic but are not Arabs, such as Egypt, Algeria, Morocco, and Tunisia.
Did I refer to that in this video? I can’t remember if I did 😅
@@EgyptAdventuresTravel
I am directing my words to some people in the comments
Got it-thanks for clarifying!
Most of Egypt, Algeria, Morocco, and Tunisia are Arabs.
If not Arabs, what ethnicity are they.... kindly explain.
I’m really hoping new Alamein, this city and ras Al Hekma become successful cities. The Egyptian people deserve to have a future after years of stagnation (especially the youth)
Whatever happens, I hope for improvements for Egypt and everyday Egyptians.
Looks like the new capital is designed to separate the rich elites from the poor in Cairo , but I don’t think I would want to live in a desert.
The Administrative Capital will be housing for all classes of people, for the rich, the low-income, and also the middle-income
I haven’t heard of any housing for low-income people in the New Capital-if anyone has any sources showing this, please share. Thanks!
