I love that you filmed this video Molly, you’re so inspiring. I’m also borderline vegetarian, and honestly, not eating meat makes me feel so much “lighter”?! Like less bloated, healthier. I would love to try your meal with rice and green beans! Actually all the meals in this video make me go 🤤🤤 for breakfast what I can recommend is porridge with one half of a mashed banana and a half apple cut into small pieces, plus a half spoon of nutella. That has been my go-to veggie breakfast for a while now😍

I LOVE the idea of filming this over a month! I’m in the exact same boat I’m technically a vegetarian (by label) but I’ve always said there is no pressure on me and if i fancy a mcdonalds or a wagamama then i will, but also don’t want the whole ‘oh so you’re not a veggie anymore’ personal life choices shouldn’t be impacted or pressured by others😂 You’ve got some really good veggie ideas though I’m definitely going to try a few of these out! X

I’ve been vegetarian since birth (parents met at a vegetarian club💀) n vegan the past 5 years, and I’m so happy people like you are open to the idea of eating more veggie/vegan! It is so good for the environment, animals and health (red meat is listed as a carcinogen), but I also believe people shouldn’t feel pressured to be/put a name on it! My best friend used to get so upset when she would ‘break’ her vegetarian diet and she’s realised what works for her is not putting a name on it😊 also I’m sorry to hear you’ve found January tough, me too (my uni trying to kill me off with 9 assignments due) but we got this, remember it’s always good to take a break if you ever need or want one 💗

Would definitely recommend purchasing some vitamin supplements and trying to incorporate high iron foods in your diet! From personal experience I’ve found that I have more energy from eating veggie food & find quorn/meat substitutes so much more filling - there’s also so many benefits for your health such as a lowered risk of heart disease! Of course it takes a bit more effort and you have to get used to it but it becomes second nature after a couple of months. Physically I definitely feel healthier, less bloated and less fatigued because not eating meat causes you to think about what you’re eating in more detail and even if you don’t try to, your diet will be healthier. Best decision I’ve ever made- also I really recommend the Hairy Bikers “Veggie Feasts” book and there is tons of great recipes in there to get you used to cooking without meat. Good luck. x

i’ve been veggie for almost 4 years now and (as a previous quite fussy eater) i’ve actually found its helped me to branch out into new foods! i struggled a little bit early on (because if you put it into perspective, veganism has only really gained popularity in the last 2/3 years) but i find the options now are so great and varied! some restaurants i do still struggle with (steakhouses come to mind and drive throughs like you mention) but at the same time - it’s not like i’m being forced to eat there/in drive throughs like worst comes to worse you can just get some chips and you’re sorted. would deffo recommend trying quorn southern fried bites if you haven’t already!

To replace your Vitamin D supplements, you can get a lot of it from oil-based food like houmous, butter/margarine etc. Btw I have been vegetarian since June 2019 and planning on going vegan at uni in September. I wanted to do veganuary but Mum stamped down on that one (all the rest of my family are meat-eaters)

You can get food poisoning from any food and anywhere (surfaces etc). I got it from a margarita pizza from dominos a few years ago. Its not just from chicken. You can also get it from contact so if something has the bacteria on and this touches something else you can catch it even if you didn't come into contact with the original thing.

Hi Molly! I love your videos! Well done for doing this and showing how important it is for us all to start making choices that help the environment, I have a stomach allergy to milk so I haven’t had milk in a few years, no choc or cheese😢 I also hate meat really apart from occasionally chicken! But whenever I don’t eat vegan, people are always messaging me and commenting on it because they are like ‘oh I thought you were vegan’ and it’s frustrating because I eat vegan 90% of the time and I never have milk projects of course and then you get people commenting on that 10% like you’re a lier or something, so I totally get where you’re coming from with not wanting to label yourself!❤️ I hope feb is a better month for you!:)

We started vegan (2nd try) on Boxing Day and we are still going strong! I can't discern any health benefits nor ailments so far. No significant weight gain nor loss. The waller is significantly lighter, but we were n00bs at first and now we are finding ways to stay closer to the old budget. We have had minor blips (a jelly candy that is vegan except for an insect dung that is used to seal the candies!) but it has been mostly proper.
My dad did get a rash after eating one of the meat replacements - we tried a few at roughly the same time and stopped on all of them, so I can't say which was the culprit. Cheese has been the only stickler - in Switzerland they are quite proud of their real cheeses and vegan cheese is difficult to find!

It depends if you buy it frozen from the supermarket or from the fridges - it doesn’t last as long if you keep it in the fridge but I do also think it can be cooked in a pan straight from frozen! (Thats how I always used to cook it and never had any issues)

I want to go vegetarian but most meat replacers all contain gluten which I'm allergic to! Love this video Molly x

Ahhh that’s frustrating!! I know they definitely have a section in Morrison’s where it’s a free from fridge with veggie/vegan stuff in it thst is also gluten free - burgers and sausages etc! Have a look if you’ve not tried Morrison’s but otherwise that’s frustrating hahaa

I know you've said you don't really enjoy cooking but home cooked food will tasty a lot better than microwave meals so I wanted to recommend Nanya Florence cause she makes the most delicious simple vegan dishes that I think you'd really enjoy. She's also a student so it's never anything too expensive either
